Vynz smiled faintly. It wasn't like he normally had much trouble... He pushed the window shut behind him. The man glanced back up at the window from the alley below before walking off towards home. She probably could have beat the two-headed beastie, even if it was real. Vynz ended up standing outside his house in a thunderstorm for a good five minutes before giving up and climbing in through a window. Vy could pick a lock like no tomorrow, but he never quite mastered the skill.

Slumber in her bed, she was content, unaware she was scheduled, until one of the other dancers was pounding on her door and all but dragging her to come down and work, PJs and all.

Vynz actually went out clubbing. Er... so to speak. He was looking for a lady. Preferably one that liked to drink White Russians. They were his favorite, and if he was going to be drinking, the last thing he wanted on his palette was a margarita or some other junk like that.

So, she actually danced in her PJs, then returned to bed, and wondered what this bar was gonna be like without Vynz.

Boring.

Vynz of course waited until the girl was blasted. She giggled in his arms as he nipped at her neck.

"Ooo... Someun's a little fiesty, huh? Whater you, like a vampire?" Vynz frowned lightly, rolling his eyes.

"That's exactly what I am."

"Ohyeah? Maybezi should keep you in my bed till mornin... see you sparkle in the sunshlight." Vynz's expression flattened. What a buzzkill.

"In the morning I won't exist." And then he drank from her, trying to focus on the sweet blood with the alcohol mixed in (as opposed to her incessant talking). When he left, he was in an even worse mood than what he began in.

Nestled happily in her room, she refused to answer the door for a good while before deciding that she didn't like this place without Vynz. It felt wrong. Now what would she do though? It's not like she could magic him out of nowhere.

Vynz didn't go home that night. He instead went to the park. Why? Well... he wanted to build a sand castle. Why did he wanted to build a sand castle? Well, tonight was a night for reminiscing.

Lonely, and actually on the hunt for tawni, Suri happened upon Vynz first. What a pleasant surprise!!

Walking up to him, she sat down and flagged his castle.

" I want you back at work. it's boring without you."

Yep, she said it.

Vynz was still in a rather foul mood.

"Why? Won't the other bartenders let you raid their cherries?" He was busy building a moat, musing to himself about that old urban legend... The one of the moat whose water turned to blood.

Suri grumbled and flicked sand at him.

" stop being that way or I'll turn you into a frog. You entertain better."

Vynz quipped, though it was rather dryly toned.

"You don't want to do that. Then you'd have to kiss me to turn me back." He blinked, brushing sand off his face.

"Besides, you would be cranky if you were in my shoes."

" There are worse things then kissing a frog, besides, who said I'd change you back? i think you'd be entertaining as a frog. I might try that, not so lonely :) "

Vynz glanced up at her.

"Speaking from personal experience? The frog-kissing, I mean?"

" I was a little apprentice at one point, you know."

Yep, what a way to side step that question.

Vynz gave a slow nod and then began 'fortifiying' the keep with little twigs. That and he began to whistle the Sorcerer's Apprentice.
