Malykai barely batted an eye.

"EXACTLY! Nothing! Why would I expect you to hand me the till after asking if I could smell?!"

It dawned on him. Kai felt exactly one inch tall suddenly.

"Ohhhh..."

Ajora let out a frustrated breath and nodded.

" Oh."

She stated simply, soon seeing a little place to dock up and get supplies that was on a rather small town. Small towns were easy... it was cities she worried about...

Kai didn't say anything. At least not until he found himself staring out at the lights of the town.

"Ajora... There is a woman on board. This woman has a baby girl. Would you object to cutting them loose here?"

Ajora sighed.

" I couldn't touch them. They are innocent."

Malykai pressed his lips into a thin line for a moment before speaking.

"Either way... I would really like them to be left in this town?"

ajora merely nodded, gesturing with a free hand towards the small town as she went about purchasing supplies.

Malykai was soon escorting the two girls, laughing in that friendly way. They had no idea of the circumstances.

"Oh, this looks lovely, Kai. Thank you." Kai hesitated for a moment.

"Actually, I even have a friend here I would like you to meet." They walked inside the diner. "This is my friend, Gerry." A tall, spindly man looked up at Kai as though he was insane (for in fact they were strangers to one another). But when he saw the woman, he was more than happy to play along. It only took a few minutes for him to slip away.

Back at the dock, Kai hesitated. Which ship was theirs again?

Ajora looked up as Kai approached, waiving him over, already ready to push off and get back on course towards Cuba, rather happy with ehr generator and fridge purchase.

Kai climbed aboard... and tripped over the fridge box on the deck.

"Now I know that wasn't there before..." He sighed and got up.

Smirking and shaking her head, Ajora helped Kai to his feet, having the fridge rolled to her quarters along with the generator, perfectly happy with her new 'home'.

"...Could I have a little corner of your fridge? Like... enough for a pint sized jar?" The man was eyeing it carefully. It would work perfectly....

Ajora asked casually, not having the heart to break it to him it was already packed to teh door with food.

Kai pulled out a small mason jar and held it up so that she could see. There was some moss and whatnot, and a teeny tiny little turtle resting upon it.

"I have to keep him cold so that his body will think that it's still winter and will continue hibernating."
