The Martingale headcollar , for excellent dog control

This is Martin :thumbs up:
He is an exceptionally well behaved & tolerant doglet that demonstrates on how a Martingale headcollar fits/works @ the events we attend.( for details of which events , please read the 'Forthcoming events section on the homepage ) .
He is our main sales person from the rescue stall & can be seen at any of the events our RGS rescue stall attends.

The Martingale function is similar to that of a half-check collar, it will allow you to transition onto that piece of equipment. When your dog pulls, the neck band will tighten and the nose band will move its head downwards, preventing it from putting its weight behind the desire to pull. When there is no pressure on the lead, the headcollar will loosen - teaching your dog to walk nicely.

We would love to see dog owners have good lead control of their dogs & enjoyed the pleasure of walking their dogs rather than seeing it as a constant struggle & it resulting in a reluctantancy to walk their dogs anywhere :thumbs up:

It's a straight forward £12 each for the Martingales & available in nearly any colour requested :wow:

However , we only carry a certain amount of stock ( & colours ) on the stall, so if a specific size in a particular colour is preferred , please contact Tanith directly ( details at the bottom of this post ).

This is the best head collar I have ever brought :thumbs up: I would never be able to walk my 2 together with out them wearing them, they are so dog friendly and such value for money I have had mine well over a year and washed them many times :thud: and they are still like new :teddy:

Shebsam

These head collars are excellent, we used one for our rescue Sam, but only needed it for a short while and now he walks beautifully on a half check. Sheba however, is very eager on her lead, and pulls on her half check, we invested in a Martingale for her too, and now I can walk her on one hand, I know this as I have foster puppy Bella in the other! Sam's investment has not been lost though as this is useful on the adult Sheps we have in foster. From experience of using a halti, I would say that the Martingale is far more substantial, is made to measure your dog and does not rise on the eyes as a halti does, you have complete control, eventually you can move to a half check when the dog is ready to walk nicely. I would and have recommended these
