Ae you remembering this is a NeoGeo game and needs the BIOS file for that? I tried to use my old files on the latest MAME32 build and found it was the BIOS that needed updating. I grabbed this one and all was well again. |

Err, you don't unrar it. Just put it in the rom directory with the game rom. MAME should recognise the BIOS and game independently - you shouldn't need to do anyhting. |

Am I missing something about this game ? , both Stomach and Kaiser's screen shots are at the same point (the end of level 2) but neither seems to be a game over screen (Stomach has 2 lives left ?). |

Could they be masking their true high scores? Easing us into low scores, only to find they can amass huge ones now? It must be around a year since this was played: http://www.scottmac.clara.co.uk/Season1.html Merman - were there any good tips for this one left on the RS thread? REMEMBER TO POST THE LEVEL YOU ACHIEVE. I can't assess the validity of a level multiplier being used in the scoring system unless you give me this information. |

Only made it to 10th place on my high score table as my scores from when we played this originally occupy the top 9 slots. Thought it would look strange to post my highscore table and say it was the 10th score I was referring to. It actually took me quite a while to get a score onto the high score table |

Nothing odd in that. League scores will often not be personal bests. There has also been at least one instance of a high score table here having ridiculously high scores above the one entered for the League, as the player had been using continues just sto see what followed and to practice later levels. Not valid for the League, but a fair enough way to get more enjoyment form a game you're stumped with. |

Zed's dead baby, Zed's dead
|
The only reason I took a screen shot there was just because I knew I would get killed very soon afterwards and I had a 'bit of breathing space' to press F12. I did die soon afterwards. There was nothing sinister, honest! If you look back to the first time I played this game you will see that my final score was not any better than the score I just posted. So unfortunately I am not holding back a "massive score". Have not cheated so far on the leagues, so I don't think I will start now

I personally used to like this game back when it was in its hey day, but now I can't help thinking it's been wildly overrated in more recent times. I just don't find it that much fun. Give me something like Contra or Black Tiger over this any day. |

Really enjoy this game, but can anyone tell me how to get past the Mr T look-alike? (the bare chested guy who shouts insults). I can get to him most games and then die very quickly. p.s I take it most people know, but for those who don't the 1st hidden P.O.W 's are at the 2 waterfalls at the end of level 1- just shoot up until they fall down. |

You can get 10 on the 1st level tk- there should be 4 at the waterfalls and the other 6 are not hidden. This will give you a nice bonus

435550 Level 3 - did the machine gun guy and have another tip for everyone. If you get to the end of the level in your tank but your not full strength if you jump out of the tank (down and jump) then finish the level it gives you the 'tank' bonus so another 10k :-) I could never manage to finish level 2 with the tank intact so had jumped out to use the machine gun bullets i had to hit the plane and found it still gave the the special bonus :-)
