can't you remember your quote from final fight m8 any chance u cud do a inp. file SC to give a couple of pointers I think you should just practise rather than get everyone to show you how to play...... If you spent as much time playing as you (all of you, not just TK) do hunting for tips or watching other peoples INP's then you would have learnt how to beat the guy yourselfs so practice practice pratice opa

Yes I remember my quote, I also remember that we have an entitlement that allows us to ask for more proof to be posted in the form of a video replay if an extraordinary score is posted.... Getting nearly double what everyone else is scoring while still only on level 2 counts as extraordinary and I would like to see the proof.. I'm not accusing anybody of cheating and a score like that deserves to be applauded, but I want to see it, don't anybody else..? |

Nice score - that one would get you into the top 15 in the world : http://www.twingalaxies.com/index.aspx?c=2...&gi=3748&vi=677 You just need to get 20x it to get close to the top spot :-) |

To paraphrase what various people wrote earlier...... "How come fr@ser's posted a large score and he's only on level 2. I want to see it" I've watch a video clip of someone doing the first stage and getting about 66K. But when I try to copy what they've done the enemies move in a different pattern and I can't get them to group together properly hence I'll be posting a score of about 10K to start with  ME. |

I wish it was such an extraordinary score, but as zaphod79 has shown,it's nothing compared to what the top players have. And i don't think any of the players who use mame, for Burger time ,allow their inp files to be available for download, because they have took the time to work out the patterns of the food ,and don't want some one just coming along and easily copying their hard work (a reason why my sf2ce 1,593,600 1st place TG score isn't available to watch( fellow TG member clay K)). My final fight score isn't the best, but i did show it,to prove i was capable of having a one million score advantage ,over the rest (Opa-Opa),so if the need does require it for BT ,it will be submitted, but PM'd to the GUVs ! But it's still early days,so i expect more members to get better scores ,as they play and learn the methods to boost their scores ! |

This is NOT in the spirit of the league, we don't hide things from each other and if you are asked to post an INP file you post it for all to see. If you want to join some stuck up, secret scoring community go ahead but this league is not the place for that.... Or at least I didn't think it was..? |

On that note  There is a method of getting all the baddies together so you can get them to drop together on a piece of burger and get maximum points. The technique requires a fair amount of timing and skill but once it's mastered there's no element of risk apart from making mistakes as the baddies follow the same route. This information for the 1st three levels is readily available and if anyone is interested a quick google will get the information. I am more than happy to post the link but don't want to spoil anyone's enjoyment of the game by following a "risk free once you've mastered it route". I thought it spoiled the fun element of the game so have no real interest in trying to do it. Anyway enjoy making yer burgers folks, glad to see for some it aint about getting huge scores and having fun just playing the games

to be honest opa i can't blame fraser for not wanting to show his technique whilst i personally think he is a bit of a big head theres no doubting he is by far the best player in this league , he has printed up the score list : "SCORING - Stacking a burger ingredient : 50 points per ingredient Crushing Hot Dog : 100 points Crushing Pickle : 200 points Crushing Egg : 300 points Collecting Ice Cream : 500 points Collecting Coffee : 1,000 points Collecting Fries : 1,500 points Dropping Ingredient with 1 enemy on top : 500 points Dropping Ingredient with 2 enemies on top : 1,000 points Dropping Ingredient with 3 enemies on top : 2,000 points Dropping Ingredient with 4 enemies on top : 4,000 points Dropping Ingredient with 5 enemies on top : 8,000 points Dropping Ingredient with 6 enemies on top : 16,000 points and so on... and a link by RS200 to a burgertime site shows this other snippet of info There is a simple way to get a massive score on this. For each of the six screens you need to get all the hot dogs / eggs / pickles grouped together following you. You can do this by throwing a pepper in front of them. Once bundled together they will chase you like a single piece of food. You then drop the lot from the bottom bun working upwards on each screen. If memory serves this is 32000 a drop. The six screens can be completed like this three times but the first screen for the 4th time around is rediculously fat. I got the official world record of 3,058,000 in 1983. Only the 58,800 registered on the screen. I still had 110 extra lives and pinches of pepper! so there is no doubting these sort of scores are possible and the fact that last minute leezer knows about it just backs up the fact (still waiting for that beer m8)

I'm not doubting the scores are possible I just think that Fraser is not playing the league in the spirit it was intended and is indeed a bit big headed... In the past if an INP was asked for EVERY member was more than willing to post one and help others.... I hope this league don't become home to another elitest bunch of selfish glory hunters like so many others out there.. |

Or it could turn into a site with a resident whinger ,himself not playing in the spirit which the league was intended to be , I'm sure gamefaqs do a walk through, you know, where someone else has done all the hard work for you ,then you just follow the dots ! I'd also like to say, this is the first time i ,and probably others ,have ever played Burger time,i don't know any hidden secrets to give me an unfair advantage ,( like the Ffight diamond trick ,a trick that turns everything ,in every breakable object e.g crate/barrel into a diamond or gold bar, giving you some really big scores) all I worked out,was how to get all the food together,as one piece, then to drop the burger bits, with them on, starting from the ground level first,to the top level last, you never had any problem with anyones scores, during the week that The ninja was played . |

Latest: 37100 End of level 4, just needed a few more burger pieces to drop and I would've reached level 5. ![]() Must say that I agree with Opa with regards to the "spirit of the league" debate. There's no pride in reading someone else's tactics on some faqs site and simply following them, and as far as I know this league wasn't meant for that. There are plenty of other sites which offer a more suitable challenge for those who are looking for more "hardcore" opposition. |

I think that the intent of this league should be a competition of every one against each other. Don't you receive some pride out of "beating" a game? I know in this case it wraps around forever so it isn't possible, but just trying to best your last score, no matter what tactics you use, should be the bar you use to judge yourself. Challenge yourself to achieve a certain goal, whether that be 50,000 points, or level 5, whatever. In fr@ser's case he is simply trying to best his score using his methods (whether you believe in his methods or not is not entirely relevant). So just go out there, have fun playing the game and try to do YOUR best. isn't that what this is supposed to be all about? K |

162900 thought it was (burger) time for my feeble 1st effort incidentally - its games like these that make the scoring system a farce, it should be a points system ie. 25 points 1st place, 23 points 2nd place, 22 points 3rd place etc.. looks like fraser`s gonna get 100 score and the rest of us in the 60`s if were lucky |
