It's time to make your nominations... Season 32 of the League will start on Sunday the 22nd of September 2013 at 12:00 midday (GMT). The League Rules can be read >HERE< REVISED Nomination Rules (short version): Post the name of two games from different genres you'd like to play in this thread. REVISED Nomination Rules (long version) - please read carefully: Anyone wishing to participate can nominate 2 games in this thread, all will be added to the random selection for week 1. For these games to be included in subsequent draws, players must post a score for the previous week (e.g. for your selection to be in the draw for week 5, you must play and post a score during week 4). Your two games should be of different genres to help guarantee diversity. So, if you pick a shoot 'em up as your first game then your second should be something different (e.g. a puzzle game, a scrolling beat 'em up). Games played during Season 23, 24, 25, 26, 27, 28 , 29 , 30 , 31 and the Summer Season / Autumn Action / Winter Winners cannot be nominated for Season 32. Games played during Seasons 1-22 CAN be nominated. Sequels and variations will be subject to a moderator's decision and/or vote before being accepted. However, players can only nominate ONE game that has been previously played. Their second nomination must be a new game. Nominations that were not played can be nominated again. All games will be assumed to be the Arcade/MAME versions unless otherwise specified. The MAME ROM name and set should be specified (e.g. ROM pang, World revision). If no ROM or version is specified by the time a new week is drawn, the default/parent ROM and settings will be chosen automatically. Including difficulty or DIP switch settings with your nomination is recommended. Preference should be given to MAME where possible, as it's almost guaranteed all players will already have it. Other formats will be considered, but you will be expected to give fast and effective IT support to any other players who have difficulty with your emulator and/or game should it be selected. Bear in mind not everyone will have that 'Windows 98 only' Oric emulator you love so much or know how it works once its installed Try and nominate games you know if possible. You should also try to pick a game that is SUITABLE for league play, ideally with a high score table or a scoring system. Sequels and variations on games already played will be discussed before being accepted for nomination. (E.G. we've played Super Street Fighter II, so other variations of Street Fighter II would be likely to be dropped). If a game is nominated that can be played 'forever' then a cut off point will be chosen by an Admin and the first player who hit that point will be given that score and everyone else who hits that point will be given one point grade less. Nominations can be changed during the season, provided they meet the above criteria. Any changes to nominations must be made before 1200 on the Saturday to be eligible for the following week's random selection. Games exempt from nomination: <in spoiler twist because of size> Spoiler: click to toggle Games played in previous seasons can be read in the following thread: http://s11.zetaboards.com/RetroLeague/topic/7279515/1/http://s11.zetaboards.com/RetroLeague/topic/7279515/1/ Nominations: 1. Its not easy...

After the roaring success of selecting both Krakout and Knot in 3D last time round, this time I've gone for 2 games beginning with L. 1) Light Corridor (Spectrum) - a three dimensional Breakout game in which you hit the ball down a never ending corridor. http://www.worldofspectrum.org/infoseekid.cgi?id=0002875 ![]() 2) Lode Runner 128 (Spectrum 128K) - the classic game of collect the gold bars and avoid the baddies (NB 128K version selected, as this does not have the inbuilt copy protection) http://www.worldofspectrum.org/infoseekid.cgi?id=0002912

Hm, you can nominate danmaku stuffs if you'd like to, dont let me stop you, lol. Not that there actually is much of that on Mame though... Besides, I'm not feeling all burned-out on those anymore. Anyway as for my own nominations, for now lets go with: Space Dungeon (Mame) Motorace USA (Mame) That second one, I'm absolutely certain it has another name as well but I cannot for the life of me figure out just what that is. |

I'd never heard of MotoRace USA, so Wiki'd: "...(also known as Traverse USA, in Japan as Zippy Race and in Spain as Mototour) is an arcade game released by Irem in 1983".
