Back then there use to be a family entertainment chain called Fun Station USA, I believe that two of them had a Rock afire explosion show! One in Staten Island, and the one that used to be in Sayville which is now closed and theres now a Target at that location! I saw the one in Sayville years ago, it was fully operational at one point! On the website they used to have photos of their show up on the front page too, they closed it many years ago and they wound up turning it into a flea market! Fun Station USA tried to stay open on a small little section adjacent to where the flea market was and eventually THAT wound up closing and the flea market wound up expanding in that little section while keeping the colors it still had from the previous Fun Station USA that was there! It was a mini stage I believe just like the one from Hillwood Strike n Spare, I've also seen photos from the one in Staten Island and now that they removed the show theres only select characters that have stayed and that have been put on display around the store! And as for the others, they're gone! Fun Station USA has seem to have died down now as theres only two in existence, it was a popular chain back then and as the years went on it just took a dive! But it was pretty cool, I enjoyed it while it lasted! |

There's someone on Instagram that bought the Billy Bob from the Fun Station in Staten Island, I believe! It's in terrible condition and he keeps programming it to sing weird songs, lol. |

Aw, man. I was trying to get my hands on that. Yeah, as far as I know, that was the last remaining character there. |

Well considering the condition they were in, it's probably a good thing that they're no longer there. |

I always get confused as to which one was Funstation and Funzone but some of the decrepit RAE bots (from the one that just had them placed around the store as displays) were some of the photos I used to make the Halloween avatars. They just looked really creepy - especially in the dark environment they were in.

Yeah Fun Station had theirs displayed around the store, FunZone had theirs setup but they never moved and they never worked! They just stood there like a bunch of animatronic animal statues, I've never seen them working except for once when they tried to get it going but they turned it off because it was a heck show! Now some guys in Seattle have possession of the RAE from FunZone, he's apparently or at least trying to get those bots working again!

I'm... slightly disturbed. I'd love to say I'm glad they went to someone. But I highly doubt this kid knows how to repair animatronics. Especially animatronics in this state. Edited by SgtPinkie, Nov 16 2014, 10:52 PM.

A 3-stage statue Helen in a portrait frame nonetheless... and to think there's probably someone who could use those latex era cosmetics for a bot.

That must be what happened to the Helen cosmetics that came up for sale on eBay recently. Can't say I blame them, I guess. I don't have a bot either and if some reasonably complete cosmetics for the characters I want come up for sale I'd bid on them and make my own frame if I won. So yeah, I'd do the same thing. |

Well, if I would get cosmetics I would put them on display as well. I am currently working on my own bot so when he's done I wanna try placing cosmetics on him But in my opinion, it would have been better when someone got the RAE bots who's a little bit older and can fix them, but please don't hate me now, it's just my opinion. Quit being rude, I actually like this person because they made their own mini Rock-afire Explosion show. |

Given some time Jojo might be able to fix them up better than many of us ever could.
