Has anyone visited any of the Bullwinkle Family Fun Center locations? I have visited the one in Tukwila,WA several times and if you near one of the locations or down in the areas for vacation (other location is in Wilsonville,OR) I would suggest checking the place out. They have a Rocky And Bullwinkle animatronic show there. Here is one of the videos I shot during my last visit almost 3 years ago at the Tukwila location. Sorry you can't hear the show to well. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=jRYDNN-Gx2Q |

If I remember correctly, they also have one way up in Edmonds. I've never been to any of the current ones, but there was one in Federal Way for a short time when I was growing up and I remember going there a few times. I still remember seeing Snidely Whiplash in a big birdcage in the lobby and the beautiful leaping jet fountain they had in the dining room. It was located where the Pier 1 Imports is now and was just the restaurant and arcade. No go karts, mini golf or any of the other stuff I've heard are now at the Tukwila location. My parents still live there and I'll be visiting them for Christmas. I was thinking of asking if anyone wanted me to stop by to take pictures or video. Edited by 80sgirl, Dec 3 2014, 03:23 AM.

Bullwinkles is definitely on my bucket list. I've been pretty much everywhere in the continental US except for the Pacific Northwest. When I get around to finally making my Seattle roadtrip there's a ton of stuff up that way that I plan to visit. I lobbied pretty hard to get CV in Seattle the last few years but it wasn't meant to be. There's actually a handful of interesting things up that way like Bullwinkles. I don't know if they're still the same but up in that area was the CEC with the big statue (different from the huge one in San Jose) and the existing stage characters placed on an old 3-stage. |

If you can do try to stop by and take pictures or videos. Curious to see the current status of the show along with the place and I have heard about the one in Edmonds but I believe that they don't have the show there from what I have been told. |

Hopefully you will get the chance to visit at some point Travis. I have been to the Lynwood location (3 stage) a few times. Last time I went was last Summer. Pretty cool CEC overall! Here's a store tour I filmed last time I was there! http://youtu.be/kydrU-QIdxk |

I'd kind of like to see this big statue while I'm there if it's not too far from where I'm staying. I'll be using my parents' car so I don't want to take any really long road trips. Do you remember which restaurant has it? |

I can't remember offhand but I'll look into it. I seem remember that if you look at the building on Google street view you can see the statue from the outside. It's nowhere as large as the massive one at the Tully Rd store but it's still probably 10 feet high. I'll see if I can track down the exact store... all I know is that it was in WA state somewhere.

It's in Tacoma. Not sure if it's still there though. Had received Phase IV in 2011. I had went a long time ago in 1998 and this was back when the C Stage was still there. Switched over to a Studio C Beta in 2004. The only existing stage locstions left in the Seattle/Tacoma area are Bellevue and Lynwood and I would suggest checking those out if you have time. I was just at Bellevue a few weeks ago when I was down in Seattle to visit family for my birthday. They have a 1 Stage btw. Usually visit that one every time I am down there since that was the first CEC I ever visited! |

BOOOO! Just checked and it's been replaced by THIS. That's so much better than a statue of Classic Rat. ![]() Not a happy camper at the moment

Theres a place out here on Long Island in Medford that used to be called Bullwinkle's Family Fun Center but they changed the name to Boomers! But, the show that was in Bullwinkle's is still at the Boomers! in Medford, they haven't got rid of it! Its in the party room, I've been there a few times before! Its pretty cool! |

That's too bad. Maybe they moved it inside somewhere. I might check it out anyway, but I'm not going to get my hopes up. And yeah, classic Chuck is better than any logo behind glass. |

Im afraid not. I went there earlier this year. Mom kept telling me stories of how she went there on a field trip in the 80's when the statue was still there. They havent moved it inside. They probably tossed it, sadly enough. |

That's too bad. Guess I won't waste a trip down to Tacoma, since it doesn't even have a stage show. Kinda sad. It's the only remaining CEC in the area that was once a PTT and now it's just as soulless and devoid of history as the newest ones. Edited by 80sgirl, Dec 6 2014, 03:14 AM.

Totally. My mom says that the statue was standing, unlike the giant sitting one. |
