A couple questions about curtains: 1. 1-stage, 2-stage, and 3-stages are all supposed to still have their curtain motors still activated even though the curtains are no longer programed to close, right? 2. Why is Studio C Alpha programed to have its curtains closed when none of the other stages with curtains close anymore? I don't get that... |

For stage setups I'm pretty sure it depends on the store. Boise still has their curtains, but I've seen a lot of videos from other stores where the curtains are gone. Studio C has different programming than the stage shows and the Alpha curtain motors are supposedly more reliable and cheaper to operate. I assume having the curtains close acts as a deterrent to kids climbing over the desk between shows and breaking stuff. |

Mine has their curtains, wink and all of their motors, but they don't use them anymore. We also have flat screen TVs that are covering the curtains. |

Not all Studio C's have their curtains, but those that do usually tend to keep the curtains on because of the safety reasons and all that stuff. I know most existing stage stores have either gotten rid of or have disabled curtains, but I believe there are still some who use Chuck E's curtains for Live/birthday shows though. Burlington got rid of the curtains about a year and a half ago. |

My local store used to have curtians but they stopped using them around Decemberish 2013 (My guess was they eventually thrased them and just got new "fake" curtains in they're place to cut costs) |

Curtains are supposed to be disabled (unplugged), but some stores such as Boardman, Ohio and Danvers, MA have reenabled tham, but that means every time you turn the cyberstar on, they close, so you need to manually open them with the buttons. It also means that you could have a very fun time playing the Skit Comparison at these locations! XD Other locations, disabled means other things... Burlington, MA means cut down, but some wires hanging backstage Natick, MA means left up but destroyed motors/pullys Newington, NH means cut off the mechanism, but wires and weights still hanging, so they can be reenabled, but weights will just come down and go back up |

You've gotta wonder why they ever got rid of the curtains - doesn't just having the band silently sit there (albeit, in random mode) kind of ruin the illusion? Maybe they got too deteriorated at most locations, or perhaps got stuck sometimes. |

Newington's were disabled and then removed. Orange is a beta and has no curtains, since as long as I've been going. Idk if they had them after they received Studio C or not. |

The reason they got rid of them (apparently) is because they wanted the characters visible at all times instead of hidden by the curtains. |
