Just about everyone knows looney bird had a retrofit allowing him to hold a piece of paper, but not many people know about the proposed 2.0 bots for other characters that have been given a new bot or was planned and never made it's way into a real bot. First off, i will talk about the beach bear 2.0. If anyone has seen beach bear in the wolfpack 5 you know he stands up on stage, but did you know he was planned to have a bot that can stand up off his surfboard and sit back down? This idea never made its way to a full-fledged bot, but was a cool concept in itself! Next was a mitzi 2.0. This bot was made to allow her to dance on stage by swinging her waist left and right and letting her put her hands in front of her. This was done to let her dance on stage. That is about it for her retrofit. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=vkgivnsr9FU The final 2.0 bot is dook. The updated Dook had new arm and wrist movements, which gave him the ability to play a full set of drums. He could swivel, play drums that surrounded him, raise his arms to hit crash cymbals , and even reach one arm across the other while playing. I have a question for you! If you could have any rock-afire explosion 2.0 mech made for any character, who would it be? What new features would be implemented? UPDATE! Out of the blue footage of the 2.0 dook has been found! Take a look! https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=cA8SfAipgRg

I know about these. It's a shame they never made it. The Dook and Beach Bear ones would have been so cool. |

They weren't "retrofits", they were all new mechs built from scratch. |

Yeah, retrofit is exclusive to cosmetic switchouts and changes as far as I know. These were gen2s, with the exception of Looney's hands. What would that be, 2.5? |

Those are the 2.0 robots that were never completed. Their endoskeletons are still in Aaron Fechter's warehouse. The funding for them was cut when Showbiz started running into financial problems. |

Depends on the owner's resources and how elaborate they want to get. Some retrofits involve mechanical changes. They swapped out Rolfe's right arm assembly during CU, for example. |

Yeah, the existence of the planned upgrades has been known for a long time. Aaron has said several times that he still hopes to get Mitzi and Dook running. Is the term "endoskeleton" coming from FNaF? Because most animatronic places call them "frames" or "armatures." |

The first place I ever heard the word endoskeleton was in the Terminator films. |

Aaron has 3-4 of the Dooks, if I recall correctly. I believe he has a gen 2 Mitzi as well. |

A gen 2 Fatz that plays a real piano and not black plastic Yeah. All Aaron needs to to is just add cosmetics because the mechs are completed, right? Edited by PizzaPalooza, Jul 1 2015, 03:15 PM.

P-p-p-please!

They also planned to build animatronic versions of celebrities at one point to replace Rolfe and Earl as well. The only one that really got off the ground was one of Sir Paul Mccartney. |
