Wow. I just somehow murdered the small reputation I had here by asking a question.

Yeah, That Was an April Fool's Joke. We will have to see what Plano, TX's store will get, though.

If you got that info from a certain 'up close and personal' YouTuber I would be very wary of that information.

CEC has already shown that the show is not their priority. With the COL stage and the test stage in Plano, both costumed 'live show' centric stages that cost them far less money to maintain, I don't see them turning back around and focusing on the animatronics again.

As we said before, the official plan for right now is that all plans are staying. If a store removes a stage for renovation or remodel a new store will get the show or it will be sent back to be stored for spare parts.

Cec will do whatever is best and cheapest for them, they really haven't done much about not taking away stages. They're still going one by one.

I actually have something actually confirmed on this. When my friend Richard (Rapid T. Rabbit) and I visited the CEC in May's Landing NJ at the end of last month (it was undergoing a remodel), we saw that the Studio C Chuck E. bot had new cosmetics to match Chuck E's new clothing. Here's a photo:

We also spoke with a district manager who happened to be in the store, and who says he's been with the company for 16 years. He told us that new stores will not have animatronic shows in them, but that CEC doesn't really have plans to remove existing shows. If they're still in decent working order, there's no reason to spend all that time and money taking them out.

in your argument They said if there's no reason to the stage why bother but why would they take out a perfectly functioning studio c alpha in Plano tx for no reason also then remove a 3 stage in Michigan to find a new home for the alpha,s bot also If you spread a rumor like big cheese did that they are never going to remove another stage and one of big cheeses fans walks into his local Cec and finds the existing stage completely removed that person will feel like they where lied to

Isn't Plano a test location? That would mean they removed the stage to install the test stage and then relocated the Studio C to replace the 3-stage, assuming Studio C is easier to maintain.

Why is the leg fur covering the shoes? That looks kind of bad.
