I apologize if this is in the wrong section. Anyway, since recently bots without valves have been popping up in eBay, I have a question. I know they make Mac valves not specifically for the RAE bots, but will they work for RAE bots? If so, where would you even buy one? Thanks |

Valves are not a unique part. You can buy them pretty much anywhere that sells pneumatic parts. Any valve will work as long as it's the same voltage as the other valves and controller. They don't even have to be made by MAC. |

Oh ok. I guess the answer was so I obvious I completely missed it. 😂. Thanks so much. Do you happen to know the voltage of the RAE valves by any chance? |

That I don't know. You'd have to ask someone who has an RAE/3-stage bot. |

It doesn't matter what the original system used if you're just getting a disconnected bot with nothing else. The bots aren't defining the valve compatibility. They're purely mechanical. The things that have to match are the controller, the valve bank and the power source. If you're buying a bare bot and starting from scratch, I would start with the controller and work out from there. Decide what controller you want to use and match the rest of the system to it. The bots will come along for the ride. |

If you wanted to use the original control system, you would need compatible valves though. Edited by jasper_the_beach_bear, May 31 2015, 10:47 AM.
