They have 8 cylinders, but they are double action so it depends on how you want to define movement. Chuck has: Eyes left/right Body turn left/right Head turn left/right Head lift up/down Eyelids Mouth Right arm up/down His left arm doesn't have a cylinder but is attached in such a way that when his body turns right his forearm rises and pivots out. You can see it in this pic of Slappy's Chuck: ![]() Jasper, Pasqually and Munch had different arm movements. Edited by 80sgirl, Jun 10 2015, 03:40 PM.

To add more minutia to the topic, each balcony character had 8 movements, and a fun fact is that Pasqually's mustache originally had it's own separate programing. While it usually moved in sync with his mouth, in the early PTT shows, he would 'twitch his stache' when not talking. This was changed when Pasqually began playing drums in the MMBB shows. His mustache was combined with the mouth action and the valve/channel war re-purposed to allow for each arm action to be separate. (More trivia, in some of the earliest stores, Pasqually and Munch were behind 'doors'. The characters arms were attached to the doors and in the earliest diagnostic test tapes, these actions were referenced.) I have attached a photo of a chart showing the 5 character's movements and their card assignments. The guest and CEC mech was identical. The 3 center characters had head tilt/up actions, the side characters did not, giving up that feature for Pasqually's mustache and Munch's separate arm movements. Another fun fact: while most cylinders in Cyber characters are 'double action', only the mouth cylinder in each character used the dual actions. Most just relied on gravity or springs to being the action back to it's 'rest' or down position. |

The head/body turn are actually one "linked" movement. When Pasqually was converted to the drummer the body turn was locked in place. The body can be locked in place, locked to move with the head, or "follow after the head turn". |

actually the movements are set up strange, valve list: blink - has its own cylinder eyes left - shares a cylinder with eyes right eyes right - shares a cylinder with eyes right mouth - has its own cylinder but has an air controlled 4 way valve mounted next to it head up - has its own cylinder ( older cyberamic chucks have 2 head rise cylinders ) turn right - OK, this is hard to explain but, this is the cylinder that controls head right, left and body right, left. when the cylinder reaches a certain . point it catches the body and turn it with the head. turn left - same cylinder and action as the turn right right arm up - has its own cylinder all pneumatic cylinder accept for the eyelids are double acting they have 6 cylinder with the acception of a second head rise cylinder actually the movements are set up strange, valve list: blink - has its own cylinder eyes left - shares a cylinder with eyes right eyes right - shares a cylinder with eyes left mouth - has its own cylinder but has an air controlled 4 way valve mounted next to it head up - has its own cylinder ( older cyberamic chucks have 2 head rise cylinders ) turn right - OK, this is hard to explain but, this is the cylinder that controls head right, left and body right, left. when the cylinder reaches a certain . point it catches the body and turn it with the head. turn left - same cylinder and action as the turn right right arm up - has its own cylinder all pneumatic cylinder accept for the eyelids are double acting they have 6 cylinder with the acception of a second head rise cylinder Edited by CECrockafire, Feb 4 2016, 12:56 PM.

Talked to him about it close to the end of last year when I sold him the band boards. He says he needs to work on the show but isn't sure when that will happen. |

What we all really need is a program that can hook up to the show and control the bots for diag. And for our purposes play shows. I'm willing to design elements for the program, like a GUI, icons, etc. We just need someone to code for it.
