I like whatever locations are the largest, plain and simple. The more square footage a store has, the more games there are, which means my tokens get spent at a wider variety of games. In the average small store I wind up only playing two, maybe three different games when I go. |

Stand alone. The stores are bigger, and feel safer... |

This is not always true. The biggest standalone stores in Florida are only 14,000-15,000 square feet, where the biggest stores in plazas Hialeah(20,000sq feet), St Petersburg(22,000 sq feet) and Brandon(25,000 sq feet) are much larger. The company doesn't normally build larger free standing restaurants, but in a plaza they can always expend if nearby tenants leave. |

Corrected myself.. Manchester is standalone.. Also the 2nd largest in the northeast! If I ranked the sizes it would go like this: Manchester > Meriden <~> Orange <~> New London <~> Danbury > Newington.. They're mostly medium.. |

Attleboro and Warwick are standalones. Wilmington NC is a standalone, Charlotte (Pineville- Matthews Rd) is in a plaza, and Charlotte (Albmarle Rd) is in a plaza but it is a standalone, Big Cheese goes to both Charlotte locations (he will also go to Wilmington NC next month which is a standalone). Springfield MA is in a plaza. Greensboro NC is in a plaza, Gastonia NC is a Standalone, Hickory NC is a standalone. |

while growing up, I mostly saw stand alone CEC restaurants until when I lived in Abilene and there is a CEC restaurant part of the mall shopping center, but now I live in Amarillo and there's yet another stand alone there |

Richmond, VA and Laurel, MD are shopping center/mall. York, PA is somewhat shopping center/stand alone. I like stand-alone, but I wasn't able to visit any 3-stages that have one. Edited by ConnorL, Aug 22 2015, 12:08 AM.

These are all the stand-alones that I've been to: - Lima, OH - Toledo, OH (Monroe) - Toledo, OH (Airport Hwy.) - Springfield, OH - Columbus, OH (Macsway) - Fort Wayne, IN I really like stand-alones more than shopping centers. |

What will happen to the 3-stage? Will they be used as parts or thrown away? Someone need to stay close-by. I was hoping that we can salvage some part. |

Oh the things you learn from watching CEC TV News lol A lot of the New England locations are in shopping plazas, I know the one in Warwick RI is a stand alone though. And Richmond Virginia's locations are interesting, one is stand alone and the other's in a shopping center, they're not too far away from each other too. Edited by MMfan365, Aug 24 2015, 05:49 PM.

Aww no! I love that stage! I've never been to that 3-Stage in person, but it looks amazing at Christmastime! I hope someone can save the bots! >.<As for the thread topic, I don't think I've ever been to a standalone CEC. The ones I've gone to were always attached to a shopping center. The idea and look of a standalone CEC is cooler to me, but if the staff is nice, the food is good, the games have a nice variety and the show is well kept, I don't care which one I go to.

That rumor was proven false so Wilmington is not getting rid of their 3-Stage. And even if they did remove the 3-stage they wouldn't replace it with a Studio C Beta, they would get a Bot-less COL just like all the other 3-Stage that have bit the dust. |
