Congrats! Looks like a fun project! I damp sponged Rolfe's fur with Woolite and then with clean water, then brushed it with a gentle brush after it dried. It worked well. I didn't get the fur completely wet. Just enough to surface clean the fur. You can probably wash the fur in Woolite on gentle cycle, but I preferred not to take the risk. Never put acrylic fake fur in the dryer. It will melt. Hand wash the clothes in Woolite and hang to dry. You should be able to clean the eyes with glass cleaner. Clean the mask with plain soap and water. Don't use any kind of cleaner. They contain solvents that will accelerate the breakdown of the mask. Make sure the mask is completely dry. Stuff it with plastic bags to keep it's shape, and store it in a cool, dry, dark location when it's not on the bot. Sunlight and extreme heat are a latex mask's biggest enemies. I did a thread around here on repairing latex masks if you need that. Even with minor tears you can make a mask work. If it's melted or gone soft, then you need to replace it. Good luck! Looking forward to seeing your project develop. Edited by RetroGirl, Jun 25 2015, 09:13 PM.

Thank you very much Retro Girl. Are her clothes safe to take to the dry cleaners? I will fully submerge her in my pool! Jk. I'll give her a makeover! Thanks

It depends. Old material can be negatively affected by chemical cleaning, which is what dry cleaning is. If it doesn't look thin and worn, it's probably OK. But, if you think it's OK to get it wet, I'd just hand wash it in the sink with Woolite (which is very gentle on fabric), rinse in cold water. Hang to dry if it's keeping shape or lay flat on towels to dry. I would avoid the dryer altogether. Edited by RetroGirl, Jun 26 2015, 09:35 AM.

No, on the seller's instagram (Biffer1995) It states that the head is a Jasper mech with Helen's eyes from a friend. |

You might want to buy old/new latex parts off Aaron and ask Aaron how to put them on. you might see if you can just go out and buy Pom Poms instead of buying some off Aaron to save some money. |
