What is your favorite game to play at CEC? (this IS related to CEC, just so you know.) I honestly can't decide between Alley Roller: Classic or Super Shot.

Chuck E. Cheese Roll was where it was at! I miss that version of the game. Even though it's Alley Roller now, that's unfortunately where a lot of my tokens go. I spend so many tokens trying to win the jackpot it's not even funny, and this tradition dates waaaaay back. The rest of my tokens are more or less evenly distributed between Guitar Hero, Rubble Bubble, the drag strip-themed light-skill game, and basketball. |

Man, whole bunch of skeeballers here. My favorite game is H2Overdirve. Been playing it a lot more lately at CEC, hoping to unlock most of the achievements. LOL! Been at it for 4 years now. I really like it cause I used to play a game just like that called hydro thunder back when I had my ps1. |

I always find myself spending the most amount of tokens playing Skee Ball since it's one of the only games I have any sort of skill with plus it feels like it gives me the most amount of tickets. Also enjoyed playing Air Hockey, too, but our location ended up getting rid of that a couple of years ago when they received the games package that they currently have now. |

I remember playing Hydro Thunder and I think I've played H2Overdrive as well. Both are pretty fun games but my local store doesn't have either one. The other arcades in town might though; haven't stopped into them in quite a while. Speaking of Hydro Thunder, that reminds me of a racing game my local store doesn't have anymore: Arctic Thunder. It featured a cool gimmick: above your head was a little fan that'd blow cool air on you when you really got going. It always had this particular smell to it that I can't quite describe. It probably blew out air scented like plastic since it was housed in the upper part of the game's cabinet. I also have to give a nod to Wave Runner and all the motorcycle racers. Oh yeah that game is nice we have it at the Escondido store but there's another one just like that only bigger called SnoCross and that one blows way more air at your face than Arctic Thunder. Only thing I don't like about most of those games is that they don't give you tickets. |

I agree. Sno Cross is prob. my fav game too. You can throw snow balls at others while racing pressing the left side panel button. Really funny as it makes others crash. Great for head to head. For tickets fav is Hammer 2 mallet touch screen game. Great fun with 2 player mode and you get tickets. It's renamed and different cabinet art just for CEC. |

Haven't had the pleasure of playing SnoCross yet but given the chance I'd love to. Definitely a bummer they don't give tickets out, but I've never met a racing game that did so I'm not terribly disappointed by that. |

I haven't been to a CEC in a long time but when I go to an arcade I like to keep it simple with Skeeball.

Wether you find one in a church, or a pizza a parlor, a rat is still a rat..
|
My favorite games to play at CEC are the classic skeeball, the CEC Hoops game, sometimes The Simpsons Kooky Carmival if I really need tickets, and I also enjoy playing Doodle Jump, it works surprisingly well as an arcade game, and it's an almost fool proof way to get tickets! |
