ShowBiz Pizza Place, 1983, Topeka, KS when I was about 2 or 3 lol I thought Dook Larue was amazing! He still astounds me today! Back in the early 80s he actually played his "trap set", I've always admired the programming behind it when done correctly. Plus he has an awesome singing voice! God bless Dook Larue

I was browsing some Sonic art on DeviantART. Then I stumbled upon this guy named Kaosjay666. He made some cool Sonic art but then I saw some Chuck E Cheese art. I was also a FNAF fan at the time so I was kind of scared but I clicked on it and saw tons of CEC art on the recommended section. A few days later on Tumblr I found this FNAF account mentioning the Rock-afire Explosion. I started getting more and more interested when I went to Showbizpizza.com. There was entire fandom out there and I really wanted to join it. The next day I made a Retro Pizza Zone account and started to get more and more used to it. As me still being a FNAF fan I still made tons of FNAF references when seeing CEC stuff. In December I started my first CEC channel. It mostly had reuploaded Showbizpizza.com videos and some FNAF stuff too because I was a FNAF fan at the time. By the time January hit, I was watching lots of CEC animatronic videos and I found CECWestCoast and Matt the Franchize. They inspired me to go to CEC and film my own shows. So on the 5th of January I went to the CEC in Phoenix, AZ and since then I have been recording lots of CEC videos. Also check out my two first videos I ever filmed at a CEC. |

Why are you looking at me funny?

Back when I was in middle school about five years ago, I used to watch Vsauce. They talked about John Nolan, an animatronic builder, they linked a show reel to a bunch of his creations. So, I watched a bunch and decided that I wanted to be an animatronic builder at the time. |

The short answer: Shakira. The long answer: I was binge watching videos on the YouTube channel "This Exists" when this video started playing. I knew about the Disney animatronics because I'd been a Disney fan for a few years, but I had no idea about the RAE. When they started playing Hips Don't Lie in the video, I went to check it out because I'm a HUGE Shakira fan. I realized that the vocalists were really talented and the animatronics themselves were spectacular. I checked out some more videos of them and got hooked. I found these forums on ShowbizPizza.com and that lead to me to finding out about CEC and PTT (I don't have any CECs near me so I wasn't too familiar with the animatronics, but I vaguely knew the characters).
