Wether you find one in a church, or a pizza a parlor, a rat is still a rat..
|
So today I went to a pumpkin patch with my friend for fun, and to my surprise, what is one of the main attractions? A misc. animatronic show featuring five different chickens who sang some funny little parody songs, and it was nice seeing a decent crowd filling up the benches around it. How ever the bots seemed very, very low budget. Their eyes reminded me of the second gen portrait bots, and their only movements were the mouths. However these were some of the friendliest looking animatronics I've ever seen, and they were super adorable! I don't have any footage right now because I filmed it with my friends' phone, but it'll be on my YouTube channel very soon, so stay tuned! Edit: Here's an up close and personal with the show stage during show intermission http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2Hloyofh0Ss And here's the full show segment in action http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=GMvosC-Q94I Edited by Joeh2, Oct 18 2015, 09:21 AM.

Oh, do you know what company these were made by? And also, jeez, after seeing pictures of this place, it looks like a pig sty full of animatronics that probably barely even move in similar condition to the bots seen at Jungle Jim's. This is an inference though so I could be wrong. Edited by Joeh2, Oct 12 2015, 09:25 PM.

You call that a sty? Go to Wall and Drug, home of Singing Sam Gorilla! Really, his older from isn't even an animatronic. It's more of a mechanism!

They kind of remind me of the chickens from the Muppet Show. Wonder which one is Camilla?

Oh, and Stew's is a real maze to get through. They place the Robots Cleverly though, Chickens-These Guys-near Meats, Chiquita Banana near Produce, Farm Fresh Five Near Milk/Dairy(Or the front in Newington's Case) and Others. I made a Comp. video of Newington's Stew's location. If you are ever up here it's great to check out. www.youtube.com/watch?v=WzKjKqVSrLk |

Huh.. The Chicken show uses the same showtape/songs that the ones at Stew Leonnard's do. And also I don't know about you but a lot of the bots are kind of creepy. It does have a lot of cool stuff though, I like the baguette coo-coo clock. Man I really hope I get the footage of these back soon, I really love the covers. |

Apparently this show can have a fox character and extra chickens depending on what package you bought. Heres the brochure, it's very interesting. http://www.chick-n-mation.com/pdf/DeluxeChickenShow.pdf There was also a page on the other shows the company built. http://www.chick-n-mation.com/products/ Edited by R Fox, Oct 16 2015, 07:49 PM.

Interesting.. Over all low budget animatronic company, but I still think they're nice enough. Their YouTube channel shows their almost all their shows in action, especially the chicken show, though missing a couple songs from the show segments. It's best they stuck to the small things rather than the humans and animal band, cause they just don't translate well from such detailed concept art to low budget type animatronics. Update: I'm getting all the footage as I type this! I'm just editing it, and I will provide a link to the video within a few hours. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=GMvosC-Q94I The full show segment is now uploaded for all to see.. After rewatching it I'm wondering if the tape's intro and speaking voices are custom due to the fact that they actually mentioned the name of the farm and that the chickens introduce them selves with different names than the ones said on the Chick-N-Mation site. The chickens and frogs are cute, but some of their other animatronics... not so much.

Yeah, I don't think an animal band is exactly the type of thing they should be doing with their low budget. The concept art for it looks neat though. |

They've got a freaky looking donkey man too, but the pictures came out HUGE when I tried to link them directly. So here's some links: http://www.chick-n-mation.com/products/chicken_show/roost.html http://www.chick-n-mation.com/products/animal_band/ The smaller animals in the band are cute, though. |
