I was kind of curious on if Universal Studios in Orlando has any Animatronics? I haven't been in a while and don't recall seeing any, if anyone has any photos or information please tell me I am curious!

Wether you find one in a church, or a pizza a parlor, a rat is still a rat..

They have some animatronics, but they mostly have static figures and 3D simulation rides with screen effects rather than animatronics. |

Jurassic Park River Adventure, Dudley Do-Right's Ripsaw Falls and one of the Harry Potter rides have animatronics. Revenge of the Mummy has a badass animatronic of Imhotep (two, actually). I'm sure there's tons of other rides with animatronics but I'm more familiar with Hollywood. The parasaurolophus in Jurassic Park River Adventure blows me away. It is a massive animatronic (I estimate between 8-10 feet tall) of just the head and chest of the dinosaur. It is underwater and when the boat goes past there's an effect that bumps the boat before the parasaurolophus lurches its entire body out of the water, rearing its head and thrashing around before going underwater again. The one in Hollywood broke a long time ago and they actually changed the animatronic to have its head down and gently lift its head up when the boat comes past. I had always wanted to see the original effect because I just adore that animatronic so much, so seeing it in person has been one of my highlights of my Orlando trip. I can't wait to see her again! |

The Men In Black ride has animatronics throughout, most don't do a whole lot as I remember. I like the Worms and the big Controller alien that you see while you are in line. Jaws was cool but closed a while back. Would Jaws have been considered some sort of animatronic? Edited by Evan, Oct 14 2015, 08:13 AM.

I'm not exactly sure, but Jaws is an amazing ride. I can't believe they took out Jaws of all things in exchange for Harty Potter. |

Don't forget E.T.! It's got some fantastic figures built by both Mannetron and Advanced Animations. |
