I understand the four little shavers had to be near number one most short living exclusive caberet characters band so I was wondering how long they were made and what locations they installed at also what kind of music they played |

To my knowledge, Four Little Shavers are a barbershop quartet que Were located in the Cabaret dining area at Pizza Time Theatre. The Four Little Shavers Were exclusively used for the "Ice Cream Emporiums", Which Were Ice Cream Parlors que Were tested at select locations. They would sing songs from the Buffalo Bills and other barbershop quartets using the original recordings. The four members from left to right are named Nolan, O'Nolan, Curly, and McNolan. The naming system was the Most Likely homage to Pizza Time Theatre's founder Nolan Bushnell. Their animatronics Were typical of the early multi-character Pizza Time Theatre shows and had very few movements. They Were retrofitted from the early Beagles animatronics, and each character moves Could Their heads, bodies, and mouths. Curly had the most movements, the he Could move and raise his arms. Like the original versions of The Beagles, The Four Little Shavers Were designed and produced by Harold Goldbrandsen and the Fantasy Forest Manufacturing wing of Pizza Time Theatre. The background set was designed by animator Randy Nelson. The Four Little Shavers made Their first appearance in August 1981 at The Ice Cream Emporium of the Carrollwood Tampa Villages Pizza Time Theatre in Florida. Soon after, They Were Also Placed in the Brandon, Florida and San Antonio, Texas Ice Cream Emporiums as well. And they were replaced by Beagles because of Beatlemania. Why are you looking at me funny?

I believe the Ice Cream Emporium also replaced the salad bar in the tested location as well. They were only tested at one location, which was Brandon, Florida. There aren't any showtapes that have been discovered, yet.

The music was old recordings of the barbershop quartet The Buffalo Bills (like how The King used Elvis recordings). Here's a sample to give you an idea. They probably had custom introductions and outros recorded by voice actors. Edited by PaulKTF, Jan 6 2016, 10:04 PM.

I wish we had footage and recordings... All I really know is that they were a rare Caberet act |

Ice cream bars were at the back of most early 80's showrooms. They simply closed off this area with walls added the shavers. |

No, "most" PTTs didn't have ice cream bars. Two early locations had Frozen Yogurt on the menu though. |

I thought someone said that their PTT had ice cream at the back of the showroom. Even if they didn't, I think the shavers were in a room adjacent to the showroom. |

Wether you find one in a church, or a pizza a parlor, a rat is still a rat..

Ice cream bar was a test thing placed at a few locations, reasons the Little Shavers were made and why they were so rare. If most PTTs had an ice cream bar the shavers would be as common as The King! |

I thought that some locations had the bar but no shavers. I have a vague memory of someone posting their showtapes on YouTube, however the user seems to be deleted.

A lot of stores had a self-serve soft ice cream center. Mine had one, and I seem to remember it being shown or mentioned in the franchise promo. They stopped doing that around 1983 because of the amount of work it took to keep them clean and the waste from kids throwing sprinkles and nuts everywhere. The carpet around ours always looked like a confetti explosion went off. |

Yep, it's in the promo. I think that they simply chose one or two locations to get the walled in area with the shavers. |
