Order of the showtapes =Exists, discovered =Exists, not found =May exist based on theory1977 Original tape with Crusty Helen tape with Crusty - There is evidence she appeared in 1977.1978 Madam Oink One - Appeared at Winchester with Crusty. Foxy Colleen Portrait - We have evidence she appeared at Winchester. Irish stew may be an edited version of this. Helen Henny Kooser - This may be a modified version of the Winchester Crusty tape.1979 Madam Oink 2 -may be a modified version of the Crusty tape. Sally Sashay One - Marked as Sally One, there may have been two parts to this tape. Dr.Dux - Photos of dux suggest he was made in two versions, his diagnostic tape also says stage\shelf meaning this tape could have been re-released for the balcony in 1980.I'll post the rest in a second part. Sorry pal, but Helen as a guest star pre-Broadway has no showtapes discovered.. All we have was a photo and showtape of her short lived cabaret act. Unless I've been living under a rock and there's been a guest star Helen song and you can show it to me, I think that part's false. |

1980 Showboat with Foxy Colleen - used only at Kooser and the first tape made for balcony use. Dr.Dux - Same as the portrait tape. We see two photos of dux with alternate versions. His diagnostic tape also says stage\shelf, suggesting there were two versions of this character. Sally 2 - No tape from PTT seems to be marked with a number falsley and we have seen a photo of a balcony version of Sally, however there may have been plans to release another Sally tape that never fell through. Foxy Colleen in Irish Stew - May be an edited version of the Winchester Foxy tape. Around the world with Madame Oink - marked as both Oink 1 and Oink 3, probably because it was the first balcony show with Oink but the third overall.1981 Harmony Howlette One1982 Harmony Two Madame Oink Tunnel of love1983 Madame oink's tune machine Broadway Helen Henny1984 Bandstand 1 Bandstand 2 Country Helen As you can see, Harmony was the first ever nationwide guest. the first few years the release of new tapes was so close together that almost every location was different. In the 1977 tape on SP.com it mentions a Helen reddy recording with no introduction. And since it was converted to d2 tape in the mid 80's it may have simply been cut off. But like I said, this is just an inference. Edited by PTT, Mar 13 2016, 12:48 PM.

Well Helen Reddy was an artist, could've been used during an intermission or something, could've been similar to The King's lip syncing but with Helen, but for now we'll never be quite sure. Edited by Joeh2, Mar 13 2016, 01:35 PM.

I'm 99% sure the Helen Reddy song (just like The Eagles one and On Top Of Spaghetti) was used as intermission / background music in between skits while the robots rested. |

Thanks I wasn't aware that the tape had intermission songs however we do know there was a 1977 Helen tape. I'll add it to the list. |

Helen is mentioned in a news story on how Mike Hatcher did the programming in 1979. There's also a picture of her in a portrait frame from Kooser. So yeah, there is at least one missing early showtape with Helen as the guest. |

Oh I knew that, Helen definetly has at least one guest star tape pre-Broadway, we just haven't discovered it yet. |
