I have been working on a project. If a PTT store was to be opened a certain year, by corporate, with all the fixings, how would it look? Of course, I'm starting at the beginning. The Winchester store has only one known photo of the showroom. There are however some news articles that briefly describe it and a photo of the warblettes that has a bit of background showing the other half of the showroom. Using my detective skills I've got an idea of the layout. If you look at the left of photo one you see a hallway between the showroom and outside wall. Toward the bottom left photo you see a bricked area. This looks to be an entrance. If you walk down the hall, you turn right to enter the showroom under the guest. You enter an ordering area separated by a set of booths. Across the showroom from where you entered it's is Jasper. Under him is the entrance to the private dining room. Puppy pong was on the tables. Just under the bottom right corner of the photo would be the entrance to the arcade. Not only did it exist in this corner of the building, it went around the corner and was in the area directly across the showroom from the kitchen as well. This can be seen in the second photo. The kitchen (to the left) and bathroom (right) are under pasqually. Remember, I am open to people who have any corrections. Hope this helps. If only the video footage of the first CECPTT from its 1977 opening ever surfaced! |

I bet you it's already there. Some guy probably found a tape with it on it and has no idea what it is. So it's probably out there labeled "dad's birthday" or "singing animals " or "I think this is Disneyland". The only reason no one's found it is because those aren't the keywords researchers use. |
