I just got Mitzi today and I'm going to be doing a thread on restoring her. According to the seller this was from the Chuck E. Cheese on ingram(San Antonio). I believe I have an early mitzi as well(the welding and bodyshell are different). I have loaded her into my garage and I am starting to replace a few bolts that were missing from the cylinders, I've got the valve bank but unfortunately they cut all the connection wires when they removed her from the store. Does anybody have a diagram of which wire/ which airhose goes where. Photos are on my instagram account(@transtarlexington) |

I suppose you could program them to earlier shows if you can't get them on reel-to-reel. |

Aaron doesn't let people program his characters. Transtar, you could ask Aaron about getting some official shows that were programed by him. |

I played an original show but Aaron doesn't even want that. My plan was never to program new shows, only play old ones. I don't think you can program or play shows at all. |

I'll have to contact Aaron on getting a license to use these characters. A relative of mine and I are planning to open an Arcade/ Restaurant in the showbiz Pizza Esque style soon and we plan to use these characters. |

I finally bought an air compressor(30 gallon) and I've found that a few valves are shot. Does anybody know what type of mac valves these are and where I can get them |

They are mac valves... they are 24Vdc valves. So you could get this: http://www.ebay.com/itm/D24V-Pneumatic-Aluminum-Electric-Solenoid-Air-Valve-5-Way-2-Position-4V210-08-/130939841181?hash=item1e7c9f6a9d:g:ezEAAOxyOeBR0bSB Don't forget to get 2 mufflers and make sure you have the required connectors to connect this up to the hoses. Would you sell these shot valves? do they get stuck or? Edited by masterpj, Jun 8 2016, 06:41 AM.

The particular model of mac valves you need are out of production as of the late 80s, you will need mac valve model 45a, as used in the mijjins. I know how to order the valves to have the features you want, if you want the valves in a plug in base and have a character cable built in, you could do that too! |

Hey guys, sorry I haven't posted any progress here for a few months, but I'm proud to announce that my bot should be running real soon as I have just ordered the manifolds nessecary along with about 20ft of tubing, those were the only parts I needed to complete my bot, Pnuematic wise. I will be posting pics of my progress of the bot here starting tomorrow I have no brand new photos to post here, but I though that since I haven't posted on this topic since July(and since not everbody here follows my instagram), I might as well just post pictures of progress that I've made since I last posted here. The first photo down below is when I had to replace all the capacitors on my Playback board due to the audio signals becoming garbled because of the bad filter capacitors. This second pic was taken right after I took the head mech completely apart to polish it and re oil most of the joints Regarding this 3rd pic, this is why you should regularly take the cylinders apart to clean them. This 30+ year old oil here was actually affecting Mitzi's right arm twist pretty badly, but it is running smoothly now. Edited by TRANSTAR LEXINGTON, Jan 11 2017, 07:30 PM.

It's so awesome that you've been getting allot of work done on your Mitzi. From what I've heard Aaron is happy for folks to use the old show tapes of course with his permission. He seems like he likes it at least with his videos. He was talking about when the new masks for the animatronics experimenters kit they'll be able to program old shows. Or new one's etc. I think all you need to stay on Aaron's good side is to keep in touch with him. I wonder what was the deal with Showbizpizzafans project. If he didn't want new programming than why would he allow the likeness of his characters for the kit? Maybe he just changed his mind in the past 2 years. Anyway great progress so far! |

Hey there, sorry I haven't been posting much on this topic. I've been pretty busy in the past few months, but I am glad to announce that I have made a ton of progress. Had to trade ear levers with a friend of mine since the ones I had on my bot didn't fit well with Mitzi's latex ears. While I'm here, I might as well state that I'm proud to announce that I am acquiring another Helen skirt (since my local 3 stage is replacing theirs soon) Edited by TRANSTAR LEXINGTON, May 29 2017, 01:34 PM.
