I'm wondering how long do latex masks last on average before deforming or ripping in some way(Both on an operating character and off of one) |

Well, if you don't put it on a character and you aren't in Florida weather it will last pretty long. |

Aaron has told me some stuff about both of my Rolfe masks, My first one, which is in very good condition was made 19 years ago, without being used, while one I received from Connor.Skyhigh, was used it lasted for around 8 years on a working bot. |

haha "Cracking up" and like bgone said it depends on the place it kept like if it kept in a window seal for 1-3 years its gonna be cracked up alot or if its put in a dry closet its gonna be in good condition or if is on a bot ON a bot out of the sun they can last awhile before ripping i suppose. |

I was "Cracking up" too when you stole my HLBs video without permission and I had to take it down. But that's none of my business. I think the longevity of a Latex Mask depends on the climate in which it's placed. The hotter, the quicker it deteriorates. I believe the reason of why the CEC latex masks melted more than the RAE ones back-in-the-day was because CEC didn't know how to maintain the masks. They cranked up the heat during winter which i'm sure sped it up, while Showbiz actually knew how to maintain them by keeping them in a cool climate. Edited by BrenBill, Jun 14 2016, 08:35 AM.

Depends if you leave it out in the sun and if your country is warm and dry and the paint you use. There is no straight answer to this... but I'm sure having it on a bot and especially without supporting the head properly it will last way less long. In storage in a fairly cool room having the latex mask supported and sealed away from air though I expect 10's of years |
