Think a cheap frozen pizza. It really wasn't anything to write home about as I recall. I'm pretty sure the current CEC pizza is a lot better. |

It wasn't really that good from what I've heard. It was really just cheap frozen pizza. Like most places, the commercials and ads make it look better than it really is. From what I've seen, the real thing didn't look that glamorous. |

It tastes like any other premade pizza ingredients. I personally have homemade pizza that my mom says tastes exactly like it |

Apparently, Bob Brock had over 9000 copies of his next-door Italian chef neighbor working in a Italian factory to pre-cook the pizzas (with child laborers serving as quality control, paid approximately 5 Billy Bob Bucks an hour). The pizzas were then frozen and shipped to the various restaurant locations, where they were reheated in industrial ovens, left to stand under a heating lamp for at least 30 minutes or whenever the teenage employees noticed that they were there, and finally served to unsuspecting children. |

To be honest, I would not be surprised if they found a distributor that had premade crust with premade toppings and threw them all together. From what I remember, and what I have been told, it was not that good. I remember my parents always taking the Parmesan shaker and leading up the pizza with the cheese. That's all I really remember is the taste of the cheese that they put on top. But I agree, the shows and arcade made up for the poor quality pizza and salad bar. Also as a side note, I also recall that, just like most businesses of that day and age, you would buy a pitcher of soft drinks rather than a fountain with free refills. Good Times!! |
