Antwerp, Belgium is famous for those. These are automatons, not animatronics. We Europeans have more of those so called "Robot Organs". Mostly they are built by DeCap, a dutch organ building company. They are not programmed, like animatronics, they have a large paper roll with holes in it, like a player-piano. Powered by a motor two large bellows are blowing the air and the life into these robotic figures. The cool thing is, that those robots are actually playing the instruments. This particular band was called "Trio Fantastique" and was built by Zenon Specht. He would dress them in costumes sometimes.
