What ever happened to Adventure Landing's (Jacksonville Beach FL) Rock-afire Explosion? Did other Adventure Landing's get a RAE band, or was it just one location? How did the location acquire one? Did Aaron sell it to them or did they find it? I've seen some stuff about it being trashed, but is there clear evidence that it was? Or could it still be out there, or even at the Adventure Landing, just in storage? I'm really curious, as I've been trying to learn a lot about any FL stores regarding the RAE Band, CEC, etc. |

I think only a few old board members and Travis havd ever visited there. If I remember he said they trashed the bots. |

They were removed when the company was sold around 2003 and the new owners remodeled the concession stand and water park. They are nowhere on the property, I've looked years ago. The other Adventure Landing on the Westside of Jax, never had the Rock-Afire. |

Any idea were the band was taken after that? I imagine if it was sold to new owners, that they didn't know the 'value' of the band like the previous did. I sure hope they didn't scrap them . Did they have a full Rock-afire? I've only seen pictures of Rolfe and Earl.

That show got trashed years ago. I was there last year and there is no trace of them ever being there. The other Adventure Landing never had an RAE. |

Howdy y'all! Last year when I was researching for a friend of mine, we contacted Adventure Landing because of the Rock-afire Explosion show that was used there. They told us that no one really knows for sure what happened with them, but most believe it got sold as there always were people and companies interested in it. I hope I could help you out a bit. |

That's great to know that there is a chance it got sold instead of destroyed! It is interesting that it hasn't surfaced yet though. Especially since they would be more noticeable, as they don't have their original looks. Maybe somebody retrofitted them back to their orignal state! Who knows. |

My guess is that it hasn't resurfaced because the owners don't want people knowing that they have them. From what I've heard, animatronic owners are often annoyed by people who ask to buy them. |
