I believe The Rock-afire Explosion would be perfect at Dave and Busters. I've already contacted them but I would like to know what the fan base thought? As for the general public I think most people would enjoy seeing that happen. Nostalgia is powerful. If Aaron Fechter got the call to get the warehouse up and running, and with the high standards of Dave and Busters, the show would blend in wonderfully well with the dim lighting, bar, and arcade (midway) atmosphere. Returning pizza to the menu would be a nice one-two punch, providing Dave and Busters to market both the show and pizza and/or promotional themes such as "Try Fatz' Meatlovers" or "Beach Bear's Hawaiian Style". Adults love The Rock-afire Explosion, kids will also. On top of this, a move like that would undoubtedly garner a bit of media attention. This could be HUGE for Dave and Busters...or not? If you think this is a good idea, join me in the cause :-) Let's make some waves, contact them, help me CONVINCE them...or...let Aaron continue waiting in his warehouse with his 2nd generation Dook & Mitzie...hoping one day they will get to perform. |

I think it would be cool to see this. However, we don't want another concept unification. |

I'd imagine Dave and Busters would have to offer him a significant amount of money to hire a staff to fulfill his obligations |

Animatronics are old news. D&B would never want to invest money in them. They make money on their games and food and do fine as it is. |

I hate imagining the cost just to build a single show from scratch let alone 84 of them. |

Yeah, and also they would go to Garner Holt or Sally or some other modern AA manufacturer who have a full time staff and are still producing new shows. |

If I was a franchise owner, just for fun and who have plenty of money..I probably would rent out a mini stage (Mitzi, Fatz, Billy Bob, and Looney Bird) and install it just to see how the market would react. Most people never seen these band before or in a long time. |

I'd imagine a new build classic RAE's endoskeletons would resemble the freak baby of Kraftwerk's robots and the CEI mechs. |

I think it would be a great idea but I don't think it'll ever happen. Dave and Busters makes money off of everything they offer (games liquor and food). Putting in a show does nothing but cost them money. I'm an electronics technician by trade and a few years ago I applied to try to get a part time job at Dave and busters. I was disappointed to find that they don't do real game repairs in house they subcontract it out. Part of that is because the new games are mostly pc based and require little maintenance. Also remember that animatronics take up valuable space that could otherwise be used for tables or arcade games (which would make them money). That's probably one of the reasons they don't have AA. |

Since the show costs money to run and maintain, maybe they could do something like sell show "tickets" with a purchase of X food item or $X or more. As for show cost, CEI could really buy Chinese manufactured cylinders and valves. They are WAY cheaper. Granted, they are sometimes of cheaper quality, but the ones I've purchased have actually been of better quality than the US one I bought.

True. I feel like The Rock-afire on a very high elevated stage would look nice, though. |

I just started working nights at Dave and Busters and honestly it's my favorite job I've had. I'm here right now and it last call lol They ambiance and atmosphere of this place is great. It almost feels like what ShowBiz would have become had they decided to go a different route. This place is almost perfect at least for me. If I get in the right person's ear here or I'm lucky enough to have a Dave and Busters myself, The Rock-afire Explosion will definitely arrive LIVE in concert lol |

I'm assuming "Dave and Busters" is a type of restaurant you're referring to? Down in Aus land we dont anything of that name so I was just curious |

Yes, it's a chain of casual dining restaurants that feature arcade games. It's basically Chuck E. Cheese for adults.

All the other logistics aside, I assume if the company was buying 84 shows, they would be paying enough for him to hire help. |
