I believe The Rock-afire Explosion would be perfect at Dave and Busters. I've already contacted them but I would like to know what the fan base thought? As for the general public I think most people would enjoy seeing that happen. Nostalgia is powerful. If Aaron Fechter got the call to get the warehouse up and running, and with the high standards of Dave and Busters, the show would blend in wonderfully well with the dim lighting, bar, and arcade (midway) atmosphere. Returning pizza to the menu would be a nice one-two punch, providing Dave and Busters to market both the show and pizza and/or promotional themes such as "Try Fatz' Meatlovers" or "Beach Bear's Hawaiian Style". Adults love The Rock-afire Explosion, kids will also. On top of this, a move like that would undoubtedly garner a bit of media attention. This could be HUGE for Dave and Busters...or not? If you think this is a good idea, join me in the cause :-) Let's make some waves, contact them, help me CONVINCE them...or...let Aaron continue waiting in his warehouse with his 2nd generation Dook & Mitzie...hoping one day they will get to perform. |

Ah righto, Thanks Paul. I looked up Dave and Busters and it dose look like a pretty cool place, Talking about brand new 84 shows with coast wise I'm pretty sure it would be putting them on a good path to bankruptcy. I don't deal with shows, coast, building ect. But I'm pretty sure to get 84 new shows would coast more money then they'd earn witch seams pretty pointless. |

Also, animatronics are mostly for kids anyways. Most grown ups want to see real humans live on stage than furry robots playing out of date music. Like, at this point. Animatronics should be used at kids rides and kids fast food places. Most grown ups find them annyoing or creepy. Like you want an animatronic. Build one at home! simple as that. Asking a restraunt to get one will not do any good |

Animatronics are basically robotic puppets. Teenagers aren't gonna like that stuff. There's this restaurant similar to the Rain Forest Cafe, but was more forest theme, that featured animatronic forest animals. I heard on Bin's Toy Bin Family Blog that they got rid of the animatronics so that teenagers wouldn't think the place was for kids, that's what they might do to the RAE. Sadly the place closed, I'll see if I can find the name. |

it would probably cost more to build 1 rae today then it would in 1982 because some of the parts that made up the show are not made anymore Edited by Cyberhawk, Aug 17 2016, 09:59 AM.

The only other kid friendly place that I can think of is Peter Piper Pizza but they got rid of that show years ago lol. The only FEC in Arizona that could use a RAE show would be Amazing Jakes. They could really use one. I just hope it gets maintained well. And one more note to add. Dave and Busters has changed a lot over the past few years. It got even worst from what I know. From what I heard that they are just trying to copy Peter Piper Pizza with the entire layout and all. Dave and Busters just isn't that kind of FEC to have an animatronic show.

To be fair, some D&B locations aren't targeted towards kids/teenagers at all. Certain locations have security present at the front door and require an ID to be shown before allowed entry to the store. |

Yeah, no. There's no way D&B would want the Rock Afire. It's just not in their interest. |

I watched them when I was younger and thought they were so funny so I just...didn't stop, LOL. I have seen you comment on a few videos before. YUP, that's the place! Dave and Buster is really gonna bust a move once they see that their target audience is vanishing. |

No shocker---Not all adults want to be playing arcade games and a lot of teens rather playing home console games. |
