Hello RPZoners. So, here's how it is. While it seems like the staff team here aren't really doing anything, that's quite the contrary. While we've been on the down low, it's been apparent that we're watching, in more ways than one. We watch the reports you make, we watch the topics, we've read the PMs, everything. I'll lay this out flat right now though, we're volunteers. We take the time out of our days to help take care of this. With that being said though, during all of our watching (and occasional administrating and moderating) we've heard the voices. The voices all come together with predominantly the same thing. "This person did this on Instagram" "That person did that on Skype" "These people blocked me on Facebook" In addition to that, we've heard/noticed that most members won't post on topics, or participate because other members will purposely make comments, or give others a hard time. That's stupid, to be honest. We'll be honest, we cannot control those mediums, NOR should that DRAMA come to this board. If there's beef with you and another member, just ignore them. We created this board with the intentions of creating a fun and enjoyable place for fans to return to, and even join for the first time. While we have jobs on this forum, it's NOT to BABYSIT, it's to moderate, administrate, and take care of the forum that the fan base continues to use. Which brings me to the next step. There are at least 7 staff members, not to mention the other Honorary Staff that have permissions to act as staff if needed. Regardless, we are doing this on our own time, and therefore cannot see every little detail, fight, mistake, and more that comes up. HOWEVER, that DOES NOT give members the right to act as a staff member. If there's something going on (because y'all see it before we do) then send in a report. With that being said, we'll put all cards on the table. There should be very minimal to no drama on this board. If there is, then actually respect each other, and work it out or just don't respond. Be glad we're not automatically setting that age limit back. We've contemplated it. So on that note... ANYONE WHO SAYS THEY'RE LEAVING -will be getting a permanent ban. ANYONE WHO IS TRYING TO PURPOSELY START DRAMA -will be getting a 7 DAY ban. Seriously, we don't expect everyone to get along on the forum. HOWEVER, we do expect members to behave and be civil to one another while they are here, no matter what another person does or says on another forum. You hate their guts? Feel like they're a meanie? Fine. But if they're on RPZ don't be picking fights with them or telling them what a jerk they are in a public forum or go around trying to recruit others to pile stuff on them. Seriously guys, we've been kinda loosey goosey about this, but it appears that's going to be changing, because of the behavior of more than one person. That said, we'd like your opinion. What are your thoughts and/or opinions? Do you think we should do something differently? Let your voice be heard! Reply to the thread (or PM any of the admins or mods if you so wish) and we'll take it into consideration. |

This needed to be said. I was tired of being dragged into drama. I feel like my mood was altered because of it. I hope these changes make RPZ a better place. |

I don't know about the leaving ban.... What if people were bullied so much that it has effected there life.. But they do and don't want to leave so they leave and come back and it loops until they actually leave and yes this has happened in this fandom |

Just to clarify, it's fine if people take breaks for awhile. I take breaks from other forums for weeks at a time. If anyone feels the need to take a hiatus, feel free. It's the people who flounce that are the problem. You know the type. This fandom has people who are "LEAVING FOREVER" constantly. They get all angsty, make a big "I'm leaving" post, possibly spew their reasons for leaving everywhere and drag others into their drama. Often as not they come right back so they can do it all over again at some point in the future. If you (collective, not you personally) want to leave but have the possibility of coming back, just quietly pick up and go. No one is twisting your arm to come here. If you decide to make a production out of it, we're gonna take you at your word and say, "Buh bye." Also, if people see others causing drama, don't add to it by posting in the thread. Drama is basically a cry for attention and responding just gives the person who started it what they want. It causes things to blow up into pointless pissing matches that cause even more drama. Please use the report button and we will take care of it. Edited by 80sgirl, Aug 21 2016, 06:20 AM.

Will this policy apply to drama through a certain length of time in the past or does this policy apply to posts made after August 21st at 1:45 AM? |

Thank God; I have no objections to any of this. We all need to be on our best behavior if we want to keep this place in tip-top shape. |

Could you stop? No one is ever gonna forgive me, becuase this fandom and site is so small, everyone is just getting so triggerd by drama, I think this fandom has came to a point where they complain more about drama itself then what actually happening. Excuse me, if i'm ''being rude'' but I can't announce im leaving if I would like? Now i'm just going to get more hate, going on a break, no more. Edited by Mr. Cheese, Aug 21 2016, 04:33 PM.

Amen, and hallelujah. We certainly don't need people making post after post because someone called them a booger. |

Thank you RPZ staff for putting in a well needed rule! Hopefully this will give us a new sense of unity to leave things behind and just try to act in a civil manner in a forum that's meant to discuss animatronics, FEC's, and in general, to have pleasant conversation! I think it's good to encourage members to send in a report about the things they see conspiring immediately, as from my perspective, doesn't really happen that often for threads or shouts in the shoutbox, as it's only a select few of people that do. Maybe if it's possible there could be some sort of "Neighborhood watch" kind of group. Maybe something like honorary staff, but in a moderate limit as to what they can do. |
