We recently went on a day trip to the cec in Latham, NY which is just outside of Albany. Our goal was to fully document the studio c alpha interactive console. I thought you guys might be interested, so here you go! We split it up into 2 videos. The first focuses on the cameras and sounds. The second focuses on the activity center. Do we know how many locations still have this? The ones that I know of that do are: Latham NY, Wyomissing PA, Burlington NJ, and Berwyn PA |

Coincidently, I often felt like a horse's ass trying to keep Windows 98 up and running back in the day.

I didn't know it had so many features. I love that it has the animated tape reels and volume meter.

MAN! These were cool! Some of these games could actually be played on CEC's website back in the day! Brings back memories! This was one of the reason why I like Studio C because it felt like a studio! Especially with the "ON AIR" sign! Only if there was a was to rip the games just so the fans can have 'em; I am sure that'll be too hard and complicated. |

Thanks to everyone who provided info! I just did a bunch of research on my own and found out a bunch more. These locations had it as of the last few months: Atlanta, GA Conyers, GA Jonesboro, GA Norcross, GA Methuen, MA Ann Arbor, MI Grand Rapids, MI Portage, MI Saginaw, MI Gulfport, MS Bridgewater, NJ Burlington, NJ Latham, NY Berwyn, PA Wyomissing, PA Jackson, TN Allen, TX Lubbok, TX Fairfax, VA Fredricksburg, VA Manassas, VA Richmond "Broad", VA Spokeanne, WA Locations I'm unsure of: Bradenton, Fl Macon, GA Mayfield Heights, OH Downingtown, PA Spartanburg, SC They seem to be concentrated in certain states which I think is interesting. So there is about 23-28 interactive consoles left. This is out of 104 alphas in the us. Anyway if anyone knows any of the unknown locations that wold be great! |
