So, for the last several months, I have listened to every single showtape CEC has ever produced *I'm not counting PTT ones from 1977-1990*. Here, I have ranked all the different showtapes from every era. *I split up the years into different eras, depending on if the showtapes had a different format than others* Afterwards, I ranked various different other things involving the shows. So, here are my rankings from the worst showtapes to the best showtapes in each era. If you want, you can also list your opinions on this thread as well. It doesn't even have to be rankings, it could be top 10s. This is strictly my opinion, but if you disagree, that's okay. We all have different opinions, and should respect each other's opinions. So, let's get started (I'm going to do a brief summary about why I feel the way I do for each show on this list. I'll become more in dept as we come closer to #1). Every Show from September 2012-January 2015 Ranked NOTE: I WILL NOT INCLUDE THE HOLIDAY SHOWS. THOSE HAVE A LIST OF THEIR OWN. 10. April 2013 Show I don't know why, this show never really seemed to appeal to me. All the songs are pretty forgettable, and the only song I seem to like is U Can't Touch This, and even then, I don't really love that song that much. I'm just okay with it. Nothing really good about this show in my opinion. The songs are pretty weak (One of them I especially dislike), and I really don't like this show. 9. Best of CEC TV (January 2013 Show) Something about this show just feels off to me. I like the song selection to it, as I love the original "Get Down on It", "Pizza Oven", and "Everybody Wants to Rule the World" performances. But really, Jaret doesn't seem to do as good as a job as Duncan did when he originally performed. So, there's just something off about this show . There are other songs in the future that Jaret redoes that was originally performed by Duncan, and I think those are pretty good. But this showtape... , its not that good of a showtape to be honest. It's alright, I admire the song selection, the performances just aren't as good as the original performances with Duncan.8. September 2014 Show Alright, the first show on this list with the Acts format. This is a pretty good show as well. The plot really evolves Justin Beaver's character, and is great for his character development. Its interesting we get a proper backstory to this character who just randomly showed up a year prior in the September 2013 show. The song selection is pretty mixed. While I love Maniac, and Best Song Ever, I don't like I Knew You were Trouble, and I hate You Gonna Fly. So, it's an alright show. Nothing too special, but it has some awesome songs, and a pretty good plot. 7. Summer 2013 Show Now this is a show where Jaret does well singing a song originally performed by Duncan. I don't know why, this showtape just seems to do better when it comes to Jaret's performances as Chuck. I mean, I loved Duncan's version of Good Old Summertime, and I love Jaret's version just as much. I think it has to do with the fact that the Summer 2012 show was awesome, and this show is the same show, just with Jaret's new voice as Chuck. Heck, plenty of songs seem mostly unchanged, such as Bar-B-Q, and Summertime. Even then, I prefer Jaret's version of SPF, over Duncan's! I do like this showtape, and I think it's a pretty good show. 6. Best of CEC TV (April 2014 Show) This show definitely pulls out some of the best performances from the Rockstar era, like "Shake Your Groove Thing", "It's Tricky", and "Good Time". Even then, this show is even more special, as it offers songs originally performed by Duncan, like "Back in Time". It's not like the January 2013 Show, where all the songs originally had Duncan Chuck, so this makes for a nice show. It recycles the plot from the September 2013 show, and has a great song selection overall. This is a very good showtape, in my opinion. 5. The Chuck E Cheese Show (Summer 2014 Show) The first show in Acts format, and one of the best! This is the first showtape in years that has nothing but all originals, and it works out very well! The originals are all well written, the character VAs do a great job performing them. Even the my least favorite song, Dare to Be You (Personally, I believe Annagrey has had by far better performances than this one) has a great message to it. It's awesome to see Munch have his own song, which develops his character more (Especially with a new VA in this show), not to mention Jasper's song is pretty good as well. There are so many memorable songs in this show, and I truly enjoy it. Let's not forget the best song in this show, Happy to Be Seein' you, which is downright awesome! All in all, this is a great show. It has very memorable songs, an interesting plot, and tons of characters. 4. January 2015 Show This show, although it has only 4 songs is still a very enjoyable show. The songs are great (Especially Chasin' me a truck), and the plot is pretty original. I feel as if the lack of more songs, and character plots (We don't really get much of Munch, or Pasqually in this show) restricts this from being higher on the list, but its still a very memorable, and awesome show! 3. September 2012 Show This show is kind of underrated. Not as underrated as the show above, but still, I feel as if this show deserves to be talked about more. There are plenty of awesome, and wonderful songs in this show (Shake Your Groove Thing, You Spin Me, Life is a Highway, This is How We Do It, etc.). In fact, I love almost all the songs in this show! Don't You Forget About Me, and Karate Kid are pretty weak, but the rest of the songs rock. Jeremy (Yes, Jeremy, he did the singing voice for Pasqually from 2012-Early 2015) does an outstanding job singing as Pasqually in You Spin Me, and does an awesome job singing as Jasper in Life is a Highway. Jaret, even though this is his first show, he does a great job singing in This is How We Do It. Even Steve Waters does a great job singing "Larry Go to The Store". This is a really great show, and I truly love it. 2. January 2014 Show Talk about an awesome show. This show is awesome! It has so many awesome songs! From "Good Vibrations" to "Rock and Roll all Night", this showtape truly is a marvel. So many awesome performances are in this showtape, and the plot even introduces us to Nigel the Sasquatch. This is all in all, a really awesome showtape. All the characters do so well in this show when singing together, in songs like "Carry on my Wayward Son", to "Good Vibrations", this show truly is one of the best shows from this era! 1. September 2013 Show Yes, the September 2013 Show is my pick for the best show from this era. Everything in this show is downright awesome! This is the first showtape since the April 2012 Show that had a plot, and even then, the first show since the April 2009 Show to have a plot that carries on for more than 1 segment, and this plot is very memorable! I love the songs in this show! All of them are winners in my eyes, from 1985 (Great song choice since Jaret originally sang that song) to Cars, to Good Time, to It's Tricky, to Home, to Eye of the Tiger, all the songs in this show are wonderful! The performance in Good Time is truly amazing, and special, and Jasper and Chuck do a great job singing It's Tricky. Pasqually does well singing Eye of the Tiger with Steve, and Chuck, and Jasper does great singing lead in Home. This is truly the best show in this entire era, and I love it! Stay tuned for more rankings! Alright, so here's every show from 2006-2012 ranked! But, unlike the previous list where all the shows had brief summaries, only the top 10 shows on this list will receive the summaries. If you have a question about the placement of one of the shows above #10, just ask it in this thread, and I will gladly answer you. Every Showtape from January 2006-Summer 2012 Ranked 24. September 2006 Show 23. Best of CEC TV (January 2008 Show) 22. September 2008 Show 21. January 2011 Show 20. January 2010 Show 19. Summer 2010 Show 18. Summer 2006 Show 17. Best of CEC TV (September 2010 Show) 16. Summer 2007-2009 Show 15. January 2007 14. Chuck E's Totally Tubular 80's Show (January 2009 Show) 13. April 2008 Show 12. April 2009 Show 11. April 2010 Show 10. January 2006 Show This is a very great showtape! There are so many memorable awesome performances, from Big Country, to Tumble For Ya, as well as Lady. This showtape is very memorable, and all the VAs do a great job performing in this song. The songs have awesome music to them, and this show altogether has a great song selection, making this an awesome show! 9. April 2007 Show Talk about a rocking show! The April 2007 Show contains so many awesome songs from the gang! The music, and Chuck's performance in Get Down on It is awesome, Annagrey does a good job providing a strong lead for Listen to the Music. China Grove is a pretty good song, Jeremy pulls off a very memorable performance as Jasper in "I've Been Everywhere" (Even Chuck joins in the action, providing for a hilarious awkward performance!). Celebration is a very good choice for a song, and John nails the performance as Munch in "You'll Never Find". Seriously, this is one of John's greatest performances as Munch, where his deep, calm, smooth voice for Munch is really able to set the tone for the performance! Is It Love is just a downright awesome performance, and we end things off nicely with Wrapped up in you. This show is a a really great show, as it has a lot of awesome performances from the VAs, and it has a great, and wonderful song selection. 8. April 2012 Show Ah yes, the last show with newly recorded dialogue, and vocals from Duncan, and truly this is an awesome show to wrap up his long legacy. Sure, his voice is in the Summer 2012 Show, and he originally did record the September 2012 Show (I'd love to be able to hear the original recording of that show with Duncan, that would be so cool ), but still, this show is one of a kind. For starters, this show has SO MANY new characters! From Steve Waters, to Marvin the Technology Guru. Heck, Larry even makes an appearance, and they further establish a personality for the announcer, and it really works! This show not only has memorable bits of dialogue, but also plenty of memorable songs. From Party Rock Anthem to Everybody Have Fun Tonight, to Pizza Oven, to The Final Countdown, to Need a New Wheel, a lot of the songs in this show really work out! I love John's performance as Munch in Pizza Oven, and I find Pizza Oven to be a clever parody, and I also enjoy Steve's performance in The Final Countdown, as well the gang chiming in together for Everybody Have Fun tonight! This show has so many awesome songs to it, that I truly love this show! This is an awesome show!7. Best of CEC TV (January 2012 Show) This is one of the best "Best Of..." shows I've witnessed CEC do. It has such an awesome song selection, from I Don't Wanna Work, to I Want My Chuck E Cheese, it's a truly memorable show, and I really love the song selection in this show. Plus, there's plenty of interesting dialogue in this show, from Pasqually's new pizza recipe, to Munch's new app he downloaded onto his keyboard, and it truly is a wonderful show! 6. September 2011 Show This show has a really good song selection. Rob does a great job singing as Jasper in Working For a Living, it's interesting to see CEC cover Funkytown, after doing a parody of the same song years ago, Chuck does an awesome job singing Hip to Be Square, and they even managed to throw in a Pasqually song for Bang on the Drum All Day. This show has such a great song selection, and all the VAs do very well singing as them in this song. The songs are memorable, and gerat performances, making this a really great show! 5. Summer 2012 Show Yep, you kind of expected this one, after I mentioned in the previous ranking, that I felt this show was awesome, and it is. This show successfully takes all of my favorite Summer songs from previous Summer showtapes, and put it into one showtape! Now, that's awewsome . Whoever was in charge of putting this show together did a marvelous job, as they managed to take the very best of the previous Summer shows, and put it all into one, from Good Old Summer time, to BBQ, to Picnic, to Fun, Fun, Fun! I love this Summer show, and I believe this is the best Summer themed show CEC has ever compiled together.4. September 2007 Show Out of all the anniversary shows CEC has done, this one is the best. The song selection in this show is awesome, from new performances like All Star, to the awesome Get Up, Get Down, as well as the return of some of our favorites like Heart of Rock 'n Roll, and Turn the Beat Around. This show is perfect all the way, and the characters to a great job singing in this show, especially Earl when performing as Pasqually for This Magic Moment. This is a wonderful, outstanding show! 3. September 2009 Show I LOVE this show! No doubt about it. Almost all of the songs are winners in this show! From the awesome cover of Hour Glass (Which has unique, and very memorable music to it), as well as the catchy chorus to Let's Dance. Helen rocks Good to Be Alive, as do all of the other characters, with the upbeat music to it, Jasper does a great, and memorable job singing Some Day Some Way. Toppings is an absolutely hilarious song, and is wonderfully written, Helen has an excellent performance in Fall for Everyone, as well as Don't Let Your Feet Touch Ground. Chuck then ends us with I'm Gonna Dream. This showtape has very memorable performances in almost all of the songs. Not to mention a lot of these songs have really special, and awesome music to it to back it up. This showtape is downright awesome! 2. May 2011 Show One of my favorites for a long time. This showtape has plenty of memorable dialogue moments, such as Jasper trying to share Pasqually's joke time, to the guest star in the show, and to make things better, the songs! What Up, I Ran, Never a Long Goodbye, The Place to Be are all very wonderful performances that are very memorable. What Up is an awesome performance, and Duncan does a beyond outstanding job singing as joke, Rob has a very memorable performance, and strongly sings lead in Don't You Want to Share (Making a song that I don't really care for that much, into an awesome performance). This show has an excellent balance between originals, and covers, and it altogether works. A lot of effort was put into this show (And if you hadn't noticed plenty of shows that came before this show aren't in the top 10, so this is the strongest show in my opinion since the September 2009 show). This show is a really awesome show, and I truly adore it. Finally, Number 1. 1. April 2006 Show Yes, the April 2006 Show. I didn't chose what others would expect for #1 like the September 2007 Show, or the April 2012 Show. No, I chose the April 2006 show, because in my eyes, all of the songs in this show are perfection. I have never seen a showtape as powerful as this one. This is one of the best CEC showtapes of all time, in my opinion! Here's why: All of the VAs do an OUTSTANDING JOB performing the covers to these songs! Duncan delivers such a strong, and powerful performance in For Once in my Life, and Reach Out, Baby I Need Your Lovin' and does such an amazing job in this show!!! He does a great job, as does Helen in Nowhere to Run, and Come See About Me. When the characters get together in Getaway, and I Just Want to Celebrate, it works so well! I love ALL of the songs in this showtape, some of which I believe are the best CEC songs of all time, and this showtape truly is, in my opinion, the best show in this entire era. Well, I've already compiled together the lists, so it would take a lot more time to re-rank them into different eras, so I'm just going to go by what I already have ![]() Once again, for this list, I will only provide a brief summary for the Top 10. Also, try not to get mad if a show you love is lower on the list. There are so many awesome showtapes in this era, that there are only a few I particularly dislike. Every Show from January 1999-September 2005 Ranked 25. Just for Kids Show (April 2000 Show) 24. September 2000 Show 23. April 2004 Show 22. January 2005 Show 21. And now, here are my top 10 picks for the 1999-2005 era. First off, there's been a change. Chuck E's Fabulous World Adventure is now at the #10 spot, while Chuck E's Terrific Time Travel Review takes the #11 spot. 11. Chuck E's Terrific Time Travel Review (January 1999 Show) 10. Chuck E's Fabulous World Adventure (August 1999 Show) Alright, our first show on the list from the year which revolutionized showtapes, and continued to set a path of 13 years worth of showtapes following the same basic format (4 Segments, 2 songs per segment w/ intermissions separating them). This show is a very notable one, as it has a really great plot to it, and a pretty good song selection. There are plenty of memorable songs from We all Music, to Cheese Pizza is Pure Delight, as well as Boat of Love. Even though I don't necessarily consider this showtape to have any songs I love (Unlike Chuck E's Terrific Time Travel Review), this showtape is very solid compared to CTTR, as all of the songs are very enjoyable (Whereas some I don't necessarily care for in CTTR). All in all, this is a very solid showtape. It has a very memorable, and enjoyable plotline, and theme to it, as well as a very good selection of songs really forming this into a special, and memorable showtape. 9. Chuck E's Variety Show (January 2000 Show) What a variety show! 1999 as mentioned above was a year that changed CEC shows forever (In a great way), and contained some of the most memorable, and classic songs loved throughout the CEC community. I believe that this show perfectly captures the enjoyable songs that came out in 1999. Some of the songs are more weaker than others (Which explains why it's only at Number 9), but even then, I enjoy all of the songs in this show! There are so many songs in this show, that it really helps build it up. There are plenty of songs I love like Chuck E Town, Safety Pin, Dancin' and Singin', Hip Mouse, Pizza Serenade, etc., and plenty of songs I just flat out enjoy like Tokens to Ride, We all Love Music, We Are the Same, that it really makes this a true "Best Of..." show, as it really captures the magic in a good "Best of..." show. 8. January 2001 Show What a great show! This show has a really unique, and great song selection. With tons of memorable song performances like Combo #5, Larger Than Life, Pretty Little Angel Eyes, and Ace in the Hole really makes this a memorable show! Even then, some of the more forgetful songs are just as awesome as the memorable ones! All of the songs have their own unique style (I mean c'mon, We Got the Beat, Larger Than Life, House of Bamboo, and Pretty Little Angel Eyes are nothing alike), and that makes this show all the more great! This show has plenty of really great songs to listen to, and always seems to surprise me every time I come back and listen to it. 7. September 2001 Show What a fantastic show! There are so many memorable, and enjoyable songs in this showtape! How Sweet it Is is a wonderful performance from the gang, and Boogie Shoes is a very strong, and marvelous performance. Louie Louie is very memorable, as is the famous parody, Paper or Plastic. I feel as if all the VAs do an excellent job performing as there characters in this show (Even more than usual, since I consider all of the performances to be quite strong ones), and the music in the songs of this show is downright awesome! A very excellent quality show, with plenty of memorable songs! 6. September 2003 Show Alright, we are now really diving into the showtapes that I love. This is one is no exception, as it has an excellent song selection. Soul Man is a personal favorite song of mine, the cover is just as awesome as the original! But that's not where it ends, as Helen leads us through the very memorable, and catchy Respect, which is a really good performance. Hold On is an outstanding performance, and I truly love it, as Duncan does an excellent job taking lead in the song, being quite powerful at some parts of the song, and the music is just as incredible as the performance! I Thank You is another really memorable performance as well. The first 2 segments really bring in this show as being a marvelous show in my opinion, and I find it to be a really great show! The 3rd segment is kind of more on the meh side, but still, Our Mouse is a pretty well written song, and Boogie Fever is a pretty decent performance. Segment 4 ends off the show with another great performance by Helen, and a very catchy performance in I'll Take You There. All in all, this is a wonderful show, and I really do love it. It has a great song selection, and I really find this to be an awesome show altogether! 5. September 2002 Show Hey, what a coincidence. This is the 3rd showtape in a row that's a September showtape. Huh, how about that? Anyway, this show is even better than the previous show! While the previous show had an excellent song selection, as well as really great character performances, this showtape, while not being as special with its song selection, has even better character performances! ![]() Possibly one of the best performances I've ever heard Duncan do as the voice of Chuck is in the song Shout. The performance just seems so wonderful, and he provides a very strong lead to the song, and really makes it the awesome song it is! There are a few songs I truly consider his best performances, Reach Out, For Once in My Life, and Word Up just somehow feel as if he's putting a lot of hard work and effort into the voice for the song, and this song is included within that group, and I truly feel is one of his best performances out of the 18 years he performed as the Big C. Even aside from the wonderful cover of Shout, the rest of the showtape has plenty of great performances by the VAs! While the Sept. 2003 show had a great song selection, and awesome music, its the vocals, and lyrics that really make this showtape shine. There are really some inspirational songs in this showtape from Dream, to Try it Again, You're a Shining Star, and even in some ways to those who are proud of our great nation, Living in America. All of these songs have an excellent message to them, and successfully conveys their messages in the form of a grand performance. I will be honest, a lot of the "inspirational" originals CEC writes aren't necessarily as good as their covers, parodies, and humorous originals. I mean, hey. Dream Big and Dare to Be You have excellent messages to them, but I honestly don't really care for the songs that much compared to other songs. But these inspirational songs Dream, and Try it Again are awesome! They're really great songs and have a positive message to it. And yes, this show has other awesome covers and parodies like Roll the Pizza Dough (Excellent, and hilarious song), and That's the Way. This is a marvelous showtape, and is one of the best out of this era! 4. Dance Party (Aka: April 1999 Show) Out of all the 1999 shows, this is probably the most notable, and famous one, and rightfully so. While yes, the January 1999 show is when the new golden era format started, I don't believe the golden era officially started until this showtape. This showtape is chock full of awesome songs! The whole dancing theme of the show really works out, as it allows tons of originals, parodies, and covers to be included in this show. Chuck E Town is extremely memorable, and although I don't rate shows based on footage in these rankings, i will say Chuck E Town has possibly the funniest footage I have ever seen in a CEC song . There are plenty of awesome, amazing songs in this show like Hip Mouse, Pizza Serenade, Dancin' and Singin', etc., and they're all oh so memorable! Every song is a winner in this showtape in my book. It is an outstanding showtape, and while is might not be as incredible as the top 3, this showtape is still definitely a winner in my book. 3. April 2002 Show This is truly a legendary show. This show introduces us to some of the most iconic songs in CEC history from That's a Deal, to Go to Chuck E Cheese, to CEC Chuck E Cheese, this showtape is a marvelous showtape! All of the songs are memorable, and awesome! I love Go to Chuck E Cheese, and CEC Chuck E Cheese. Those 2 are one of my favorite songs CEC has ever featured in their shows. I love I Don't Wanna Work (It used to be my favorite CEC song, but I guess I heard it so much, I don't care for it as much anymore. Still, it's a great song, and Pasqually does a great job in it. Its really catchy, and whenever I hear a song that I don't want stuck in my head, I sing this song in my head to get it/keep it out, and I can say that it works about 95% of the time ). Keep Smiling is a very inspirational song, and very memorable, and the covers are great too! Everywhere, Ease on Down, and Love Train are all great performances. All of the characters get to perform their own solo at least once (Chuck= Keep Smiling; Helen= Everywhere; Munch= Go to Chuck E Cheese; Jasper= That's a Deal; Pasqually= I Don't Wanna Work), making this show all the more special! It has wonderfully written parodies and originals, and contains really good covers. This is truly one of the best quality shows CEC has done both in this era, and in in general. 2. Best of CEC TV (January 2003 Show) Alright, here comes the hate. A "Best of..." show at the #2 spot? Well, there's a very good reason for this. I spoke highly about the January 2012 Show, as well as the January 2003 Show, not to mention the April 2014 Show, but out of all the "Best Of..." shows, I think this truly has to go down as the number 1 best "Best of..." show CEC has ever done! The song selection in this show is incredible! In my opinion, this era from 1999-2005 hit its peak in 2001-2003, where a lot of the new material presented in the shows are fantastic! This show manages to capture the very best from the 2000-2002 showtapes! With my 2 favorite songs from the September 2000 show, Chuck E, and Drinkin' a Coca Cola (A song I busted out laughing the first time I listened to it) returning, as well as my favorite from the April 2002 show, CEC Chuck E Cheese! Other awesome songs from the past like That's a Deal, and Paper or Plastic manages to return as well! Even Humpty Dumpty, which is one of my favorite songs from Chuck E's Rocking Rhymes returns (They did a good job choosing a song from a pretty weak showtape). The only issue with this show is Jump. No matter how many times I listen to this song, i don't really care for it. It's mediocre, and prevents this show from being #1 (It originally was my #1), but even then, this showtape is one of the best shows of this era. It has an outstanding song selection, and I love all but 1 of the songs in this showtape! So, what does that leave us with? Some of my favorite CEC shows of all time, yet there's still 1 spot left. What could it be? Oh, I think you know what it is. That's right, it's the one, the only, the legendary... 1. September 2004 Show The legendary September 2004 Show! This show is considered one of the best CEC showtapes in history, and I can't blame whoever believes that, because it is a truly solid show! 2004 wasn't really the best year for shows in my opinion, but this show just knocks it out of the park, raising my opinions on the year as a whole! This showtape truly is awesome! It is just 1 awesome song after another. Born to Be Wild is an excellent performance, and is a very memorable one for that matter. It was a strong way to start off the show, and it really holds up. Pepperoni is one of Pasqually's greatest performances! It is a wonderfully creatively written parody of My Sherona, and fully succeeds in delivering a memorable performance. I truly feel this is one of the showtape's bests. Go to Chuck E Cheese returns, and you know how much I expressed my love for that song earlier . Out of all the songs they could've chosen to reuse, this was the perfect decision, as it really fits well in the show! Do Ya is a very memorable cover, and an excellent duet between Annagrey and Duncan's characters. What a Wonderful world is extremely relaxing, and very pleasant to listen to, and Smile is a very nice performance by Jasper. What Up is an awesome original, and is written very well. It has a unique medley to it, and I really enjoy listening. Last, but most certainly not least in the slightest, I Want My Chuck E Cheese. I Want My Chuck E Cheese is such a memorable, and catchy song! I really love this song, and it is an awesome way to wrap up the show. So there you have it.This show is perfect! Whenever I try to think of flaws for one of the songs, it backfires. The first, second, and fourth segments are perfect, and the third is great! I love all the songs in this show, it has a great selection of covers, wonderfully written parodies, and an awesome original! This is truly the best show from 1999-2005! Now, it's time for what I like to call the "Testing" Era from 1995-1998, where a bunch of different show concepts were tested. Since there's a small amount of shows from this era, I'll be giving the brief summary for all of the shows. 13. Chuck E Cheese's Totally Awesome Kids Show (April 1996 Show) Yes, I find this show to be worse than any of the '98, and '95 shows, and here's why. The show is BORING! It drags on for so long, and is hardly entertaining. This showtape is torture!!! It has such a boring premise to it, being anything but entertaining! All of these songs are as forgettable as your second cousin's old apartment's zip code, and even then, that would be more entertaining than this show! This show is a snooze fest, and once you're done listening to it, within the next few hours, or so, you can't remember a single thing spoken, or sung in this show! All of the songs are boring, and the whole "Awesome" factor of the show is a complete show. More like Chuck E Cheese's Totally Boring, Regular old Kids Show! The only song that I think is remotely catchy is Rollin', and even then, I completely forgot that song was in this show until listening to it! And Helen, oh Helen! Whoever voiced her in this show has to be one of my least favorite CEC VAs of all time. Her voice is an absolute pain on my ears, and whoever was chosen to voice her in this show, I'm glad they replaced her by the AAM shows. This show is a complete waste of time, and is terrible! I hate this show! This is probably one of my least favorite CEC shows of all time. 12. Chuck E's Tall Tales (January 1996 Show) UGH!!!!!!!!!!!! The "Totally Awesome" kids show (Notice how I put sarcastic quotations around totally awesome) was extremely boring and forgetful, this one is just downright frustrating! I have never witnessed a showtape that made me angry other than this one! This showtape is terrible! I would prefer any of the 1998 shows, or any of the 1995 shows over this monstrosity! This show is just so frustrating! First off, this show suffers from having completely unmemorable songs, just like CTAKS. None of the songs are memorable in the slightest. All of them are extremely forgettful. Heck, I just listened to them a few minutes ago, and even now, they're slipping my memory! Now, this show does have a better element than the CTAKS: It is memorable. While yes, the songs are completely unmemorable, at least the actual segments that go with them are memorable! I mean, I can remember various scenes from this show easily, so that does give it an upper footing compared to the CKTAS. But even then, I wish I didn't remember these segments. They're either cheesy, boring, or frustrating (Although I will admit the Sleepy Beauty segment was slightly humorous, and the Hansel & Gretel one was pretty clever). Still Helen's voice is a NIGHTMARE!! I'm okay with her singing voice in both this and the CTAKS, but her speaking voice is a MAJOR pain, and sore to the ears! I would prefer listening to Mr Mouth scream as loud as possible, than listen to this VA do her Helen voice, and that's saying something, because Mr. Mouth's voice is pretty annoying. But the biggest reason why I hate this show with a burning passion is... Chicken Licken. Oh my gosh, this character is the worst character ever placed into a CEC showtape. She is so obnoxious, loud, annoying, and makes me wish the sky would fall, so it would crush her, Wizard of Oz style (Yeah, her constant "The Sky is falling" speech is why I said that). I get it, she's supposed to be annoying, but really, did you have to make her this obnoxious!? She not only dominates segment 4, but also hijacks segment 5, making me really dislike the end of the show!! I hate this character more than any other character CEC has created! This is a terrible, loud, screechy, annoying beyond belief character, and really lowers my opinion on this show, to being one of my all time least favorite CEC showtapes! Whew, that was a lot of words! 11. May 1998 Show Of course, sooner or later, a 1998 show was going to pop up. This show has absolutely no songs from any of the characters. None, nada, zilch. So why is this ahead of the other 2 shows, which have way more songs performed by the characters than this show? Well, this show has actually some pretty clever dialogue to be honest. The whole "Master Remote" joke is very memorable, and Larry really makes the dialogue all the more enjoyable. This show still stinks compared to almost all other CEC shows in existence, but it still manages to have some likable aspects to it. The dialogue is pretty good for the most part. The whole concept of this show is really just bizarre, and pretty pointless. It's like the gang are watching MTV, and someone brought a camera along to show off the reactions of the characters, so really, this show is just plain bad. Not horrible like the previous 2, but still bad, with some likable dialogue. 10. Patriotic 1998 Show On the bad side, this show hardly has any dialogue, compared to the May 1998 show. On the plus side, the characters actually sing a song in this one! And to be honest, it's not a bad performance. In fact, it's a really nice performance! Since the May show had no singing, it's a pleasant surprise to have 1 song in this show. Not to mention, this song is actually pretty important in CEC history if you think about it! This is the first time since 1992 that Karlissa actually sings as Helen, so it's a pretty unique experience. The song is mainly the only reason why this is ahead of May '98, because without, this show would be one of the worst quality shows CEC has ever produced. 9. September 1998 Show No doubt about it, the best out of the '98 Studio C themed shows. Why? Because it actually has 3 SONGS TO IT!!! While the Patriotic show had 1 song to it, this show has 3 songs, so it really does up its quality compared to the Patriotic and May show. Other than that, there really isn't anything memorable about this show. It's still pretty poor quality, but it's certainly better than the other '98 Studio C Shows. 8. January 1995 Show Ugh, the first show I had to listen to when making this list, and this show was very annoying to me. I don't know why, it just somehow comes across the line to the point of bugging me! I think it's because the main song Go Go Chuck E is really annoying, and I particularly dislike it, and this show plays it in EVERY SINGLE SEGMENT!!! Not to mention, for a debut, Mr. Mouth is a pretty annoying character in this show, making this probably my least favorite appearance of him (Yet he only appears in 2 shows in total). I do admire how this show tries to have unique segments like the Video Game Olympics, as well as Meet the Band. This show has some pretty clever, and interesting moments like The Chuck E Cheese Workout, and Chuck E's Old Act, so I do admire how this show tried to do something original, and new. It's a mediocre show. Nowhere as bad as the previous shows on the list, but still an overally weak show. 7. Destination Imagination (August 1995 Show) Uuuuuggggggggggghhhhhhhhh sssssoooooooooo bbbbboooooooooorrrrriiiiiinnnnnnggggggggg, dddddrrrrraaaaagggggggssssss oooooooouuuuuuuuuttttttttttt fffffffoooooooorrrrrrrrrreeeeeevvvvvvvveeeeeeeeeerrrrrrrrrrrrrr.....Okay, this show isn't necessarily boring, but it feels as though it drags on for so long, that it is boring. The whole "Destination Imagination" song is pretty lame in my opinion (Which isn't a good thing if that's the main song of the show). The songs are pretty mediocre. They aren't terrible, but aren't that good. There are some memorable moments, like Jack in the Beanstalk. Really, this show is just average. It drags out for a while, and the songs are just "meh", yet there's nothing about this show that's terrible. R.O.S.E is pretty likable in this show, compared to the '96 shows she's in, and there's nothing that annoys me. I will mention one thing, what is up with Munch's voice? Every time he talks he sounds like his old gruff voice Scott gave him in the 70's and 80's. 6. Don't Stop Thinking About Tomorrow (April 1995 Show) This show is pretty decent. It replays the same song every segment like the other '95 shows, but unlike those shows, I love Don't Stop Thinking About Tomorrow. It's a really good song, and I personally like it. The whole "Future" theme of this show is pretty creative, and I believe Disney did a great job getting this show together, showing off their idea of the future which was pretty creative. It's interesting, and can capture you in. I enjoy its creativity, and the main song of the show, so I consider it a pretty decent show. 5. Chuck E's Jukebox Jam (January 1997 Show) Finally! A show I actually enjoy! This show has a really nice selection of past songs from the early 90's. Sure, this show isn't as high on the list as others, but that's because I feel as if other shows are more solid with their song choices/selection. There are a lot of awesome songs from 1991-1994, and this show successfully manages to capture some of those wonderful songs from 91-94 like Baseball Diamond Dreams, Party Place, Midnight Special, and Ball Crawl. On the other hand, there are more weaker songs that I don't necessarily care for like Go Go Chuck E, The Clock Tells Me (That It's Time for Chuck E's Place), and The Train Song. So this show has a good balance between awesome songs, and weak songs, which is why it's not too high on the list, but still pretty high. 4. Chuck E's 20th Anniversary Show Yes, I believe this is better than Jukebox Jam. Sure, this has less songs, and somewhat flops for an "Anniversary" show, but it's still a very likable show! I love Car Wash, and the cover of Whoomp There it is! is awesome! The 20th Anniversary song is very well written (And thanks to its debut, we probably wouldn't have had the awesome version from the September 2007 Show!). Now, Oh Yeah! and Don't Hurry to Worry are pretty weak songs, which do push this show back from being higher on the list, but still, 3/5 really good songs are better than none. 3. Blast From the Past (January 1998 Show) What!? A 1998 show this high on the list!? EVEN HIGHER THAN JUKEBOX JAM!? Let me explain, while yes, Jukebox Jam does have a pretty good song selection, this show, in my opinion has an even better song selection! Turn the Beat Around is one of my favorite performances that CEC has ever had in a show, and Route 66 is really awesome! Mountain Music, and Bingo are pretty good songs, Hound Dog, and I Feel Good are completely awesome! Wooly Bully, while I don't really care for it, I still find it to be at least catchy. So, 4/7 songs in this show are awesome, while Jukebox Jam has 5/12 awesome songs. But, this is just my opinion. 2. August 1997 Show What an awesome showtape! All of the songs are winners in this show (Hey, notice how I said that much less in this ranking compared to the other rankings). Walk the Dinosaur is a great cover, Sharp Dressed Mouse is very memorable, Secret Agent Man is extremely catchy, and awesome, I Like it Like That is VERY awesome, and Deep Freeze is a satisfying ending to such an awesome show! I honestly love this show, and this is truly one of the best shows from this era. I highly recommend it. And finally... 1. Awesome Adventure Machine (Aka: August 1996 Show) That's right, the Awesome Adventure Machine is my all-time favorite show from this era! All of the songs in this show are winners! I LOVE Turn the Beat Around, as it's one of my favorite performances from the CEC characters, Silicon Valley Showdown is also incredible, Are You Ready For This has great music to it, and is a great choice to start off the show, Walk Like Egyptian is very catchy, and is a very good song, It's a Jungle Out there is also a really nice song. All in all, I love this show. It is a really great, incredible show. After listening to the garbage from the first half of 1996, this show definitely is very satisfying on the ears, and I truly love this show, I definitely recommend it. So there you have it. 1995-1998 wasn't really the best era I've covered. It's mostly bad, but there are some really gems within this era worth checking out. Alright! So far, people haven't really seem to disagree with my opinions. I bet you, that's all going to change in this list . This era, from 1991-1994 is considered to be CEC's original Golden Era for shows, and many people love a lot of the shows from this era. But, I for one know, that at least more than one of you are going to disagree with my selection, and I'm likely going to get hate on this. So, in conclusion, I have very unpopular opinions about this era, so be warned. (Also: Only the top 10 will have summaries)Let's get started. Every Showtape from 1991-1994 Ranked 20. January 1991 Show 19. Environmental (May 1992 Show) 18. January 1993 Show 17. Games (July 1991 Show) 16. Best of CEC TV (Generic July 1993 Show) 15. Rock it in Space (January 1992 Show) 14. Future (March 1991 Show) 13. Planes, Trains, and Automobiles (August 1992 Show) 12. Patriotic 1991-1993 Show 11. September 1991 Show Alright, controversial time, I don't really care for any of these shows above. There, I said it. Throw your derbies and colanders at me, I said it. Now, let's move on with the list! 10. You're a Star (September 1993 Show) Alright! This show is close to being a pretty mediocre show...BUT! The first segment absolutely SAVES the show! I'm So Excited is one of the best song performances ever done in the history of CEC! I love everything about it, and I truly feels as if both that, and You're a Star (Which is a pretty awesome, unique, and memorable song) really helps keep this show in the Top 10. The rest of the show is pretty good selection of songs. I enjoy Vacation, and Fun Check. Unfortunately, I feel those performances could've been done a lot better, and this show kinda failed when it comes to how they're done in the end result. Wooly Bully isn't that good of a song (But at least it's catchy), and I Fall to Pieces is pretty boring to be honest, so really, it's the 2nd segment's weak songs, and the 3rd segment's miss to result in being awesome that keep this show low on the list. Thankfully, segment 1 slam dunks this show into making the list. It's a pretty average show with 2 completely awesome songs. 9. Spring Training (March 1993 Show) This is a very good show! This show has a lot of really good songs in it. Roll With It is an awesome song, Midnight Special is very memorable, and enjoyable, In the Still of the Night is a very pleasant performance, Good Love is a pretty good song, and Take Me Out to the Ballgame is really unique, and creative with the different styles of performances. All in all, this is a completely solid showtape, with really great song performances, and a variety of different music! 8. Working For a Living (September 1992 Show) This is a very memorable show, indeed! It has tons of very memorable performances, from Bob doing an excellent job performing as Pasqually in Working For a Living (The main title of the show), as well as Charles nailing the performance as Jasper in Nine to Five. The Mailman is a sure classic, and Scott does an awesome job performing as Munch in I've Been Working on the Railroad, really picking up what is usually a slow song. Scott as well does a memorable job performing All My Buds and Friends are Comin' Over Tonight. I believe the performances in this showtape are really solid, and really help establish the songs into having the great qualities they contain. Not only that, but the song selection in this show is great, as well as the MUSIC! A lot of the songs in this show have really awesome music like Nine to Five, Working for a Living, and I've Been Working on the Railroad, really making this a great showtape! 7. Let the Good Times Roll (January 1994 Show) This show marks the start of Duncan Brannan's long tenure as the voice of Chuck E. Cheese, and a great showtape to start off with! Duncan does an excellent job singing Route 66, Annagrey nails the performance of singing lead in Proud Mary, and Charles does a phenomenal job performing Achy Breaky Heart. This show has a lot of really memorable songs, and strong performances. This show has a great song selection, even with the very catchy Dog Jammin', and Freeze Frame. All in all, I really enjoy this show, and I find it to be a great show. 6. Patriotic 1994 Show What a laugh! This doesn't even have a patriotic theme to it! But it's still awesome Conga is an excellent performance, and I feel as if Annagrey did an excellent job leading that very complex song. So Good For Me is an outstanding song, and Act Naturally are both equally awesome songs! School Days is very memorable, and Duncan does a pretty good job singing as Munch in this song, and Be True to Your School has a really great medley to it. All in all, this is another really great showtape, and I really love it!5. Spring Break (April 1994 Show) This is such an awesome show! First off, let me say that almost all of these songs are awesome! Baseball Diamond Dreams, Sea Cruise, and Party Place are completely awesome songs, and really make this showtape shines! Boot Scootin' Boogie, and Picnic are really great songs too, and I honestly feel that this show is a really great show! There's nothing really more to say about it. The songs in this are awesome, and the VAs do an excellent job in this song performing, such as Duncan performing Chuck in Sea Cruise, and Baseball Diamond Dreams, and Charles performing Jasper in Boot Scootin' Boogie. 4. Concept Unification Premiere (First show for any newly installed 3 Stages from 1991-1993) That's right, the first ever showtape in CEC's history (Yes, ignoring PTT), and it sure is a special one! This show has an awesome song selection! All of the characters really seem to get involved in this showtape, and let's just say when it comes to tackling great songs, together, they've got it . Still, this show is very important in CEC history, and remains one of the best quality shows CEC has produced. Together We've Got It is a wonderfully written original, and is an excellent way to start off the show, Heart of Rock 'n Roll is an excellent performance, and Bob does a great job singing as Pasqually (Who seems to take the lead role in this song, although it's hard to tell). The Right Stuff is a PERFECT performance from the gang, especially on from Bob's Jasper, and Scott's Munch who seems to lead the song. I Wanna Dance with Somebody is a great performance, and Karlissa does a great job singing lead in this song. Simply Irresistible is a great performance by Scott's Munch, and Footloose is a very catchy, and awesome way to end the show. This is a truly wonderful show, and is one of the best of the era! I highly recommend listening to it!3. Physical Fitness (March 1992 Show) Ah yes, the Physical Fitness show. This was the first show in the era (Outside from the CU Premiere) that I really loved (Yeah, spoiler alert, no 1991 shows are ahead. In fact, I covered them all in the bottom 10. And this showtape, really does well! A lot of the time, themes just don't really seem to do as well as "Variety" showtapes which covers all different types of covers, parodies, and originals. But still, this is one of the greatest showtapes in the era! With very memorable songs like Whole Lotta Shaking Going On, Tighten Up, and Country Dancin', this show has a fun selection of songs with really nice character performances. Don't Ever Give Up has a beautiful message to it, and Bob does an excellent job singing this song. Dem Bones is an extremely catchy performance, and is really fun to listen to. But best of all, Muncho Man. An AWESOME, and extremely catchy parody of Macho Man to top off this showtape, really makes this an awesome showtape! It's not as high quality as the CU Premiere, but this still is a really awesome show! I really recommend checking it out. 2. September 1994 Show This is a really awesome show! This show is FULL of wonderful, amazing performances! Hound Dog, and Old Time Rock 'n Roll are absolutely outstanding performances!!! Duncan does a great job as Munch in OTRn'R, and Charles does outstanding performing Hound Dog as Jasper. It Takes Two is an awesome duet between Chuck and Helen, and Surfing USA is a nice performance by Chuck. Doug does a decent job performing as Pasqually in Silvery Moon, and Party Place makes a comeback. All of the songs in this show are winners, and I LOVE this show!!! This is one of the best shows of the era, and I find it to be a really awesome show! I really recommend listening to it! And finally, the Number 1 Best show from this era is... 1. May 1993 Show What May 1993 Show? Well, it is also known as the July 1993 show on Youtube, but I go by the SP.com stats. And this show is WONDEFUL! So many awesome songs are packed in this small show, making this truly the best show of the entire era! Ball Crawl, a very memorable, and awesome original (Which is very well written, and well performed by Charles' Jasper, and Scott's Munch). Hand Jive is a very catchy, and memorable performance, being a great song! Feel the Rhythm is OUTSTANDING!!!! One of the best performances from Charles' Jasper, and Annagrey's Helen when both singing lead (Although I feel as though I'm So Excited takes the cake for being a better performance, this song is still awesome!). Even Scott's Munch gets involved in this song, making it even better! Do You Believe in Magic is a great performance by Annagrey's Helen, and is an awesome song choice. The Clock Tells me is on the more weaker side...but it's still very memorable, and well written. And last, but not least, I Feel Good, being one of Bob's best performances as Pasqually, absolutely nailing the performance, having such an awesome ending to such an awesome show! I love this show, and I find it to be the best show from 1991-1994! Edited by Studio Stage, Feb 3 2017, 07:05 PM.

Ah, okay. Now, it's time we cover the songs from the current "Music Video" era (A nickname I gave it). But, I won't include any 2017 shows, since 2017 isn't over yet, so I'll only be ranking 2015-2016 shows in this modern era. Every Show from March 2015-November 2016 Ranked (Note: Once again, no holiday shows will be on this list. Also, a brief summary will be included in every show for this list) 13. Summer 2015 Show Yes, this may come as a surprise to you, but personally, I HATE the Summer 2015 Show! I just hate it! Since there are only 2 songs in the show, it's hard enough already to be good in quality, but when I don't care for the 2 songs...ohhhh...I don't know why, I just can't stand Dare to Be You. I hate that song! Annagrey has done so many other performances which are by far better than this. I like the message it portrays, but the performance is pretty bad, and I really dislike this song. I don't know why, I just hate it. Then, Friendship Never Ends. Seriously? Friendship Never Ends. You just had Because we're friends 2 months prior! Why would you have Friendship Never Ends!? It's so similar! Couldn't you have chosen some other song like Nobody Knows, or Arizona? Heck, any song from the January 2015 show would do! I can't stand the song selection in this show! With only 2 songs, one of which I find decent, the other I hate, this is really one of my least favorite shows that CEC has produced. 12. March 2015 Show Of course, this one was going to pop up. It has only 2 songs, and they're both reused. I don't hate this showtape as much as the previous one, heck, I love Rockin' Robot, and I find Because We're Friends a decent song. But really, this showtape is more disappointing than frustrating. If it weren't for Rockin' Robot, this show would probably be at #13. Other than that, there's really nothing else I can say about this show. It's just a poor quality show, not to mention the start of this era which was a NIGHTMARE back in 2015 for the most part. 11. April 2015 Show This is the first show in the music video era to have all new songs, despite there being only 2 songs. This show introduces us to "In the Future", which is an awesome song, and one of the best from this era, and "A Giant Armadillo Named Phil" which is a very memorable, and great song. This show even has more character performances in Phil, so that's a bonus. This show is just an average show. With only 2 songs, it's still bad quality, but since they're both new, awesome songs, it kind of makes up for the bad quality. 10. Thanksgiving 2016 Show Yeah, out of all of the shows in 2016, this one has to be the weakest. I mean, remember how I complained about BWF, and FNE being similar, at #13? Well, this showtape just outright USES a song that WAS used 2 months prior! Why did they have to chose Let's Have a Party again!? It's a really good song, but c'mon! You just used it! There are literally no reasons why this song is necessary to be a part of this show. Why not chose a song that hasn't been used yet, like Keep Drummin', or Rainy Day? Heck, even a song from the January 2015 show, I wouldn't mind seeing again, but no. They chose to have Let's Have a Party again. Even then, the song selection in this show is pretty mediocre. Dream Big is decent, not the best song from the Summer show, but it's alright. It's a Date is pretty average, but they already reused that earlier in the year, so it doesn't make that much sense why they'd reuse it again. Finally, Happy to be Seein' You. If it weren't for this song, I'd hate this showtape. Happy to be Seein' You is an AWESOME song, and I love it! It hasn't been played in over 2 years at the time, so it was definitely a joy seeing its comeback! This showtape is a pretty weak showtape, but Happy to be Seein' You keeps me from hating this show. 9. Chucktober 2015 Show (Aka: Halloween 2015 Show) This show is pretty historical to CEC's show history if you think about. This is the first show in CEC's history to be focused entirely on Halloween. All throughout the years shows that covered the 3rd quarter of the year usually came out in August, or September, this show being the first to come out in October (And I'm not counting PTT Shows). Out of all the shows in 2015 that had 2 songs, both being new, this one is probably the best one. This show introduces us to Trick or Treat, and Costume Party. Both of these songs are really good songs. While they're not the best songs, they are certainly really good ones. Trick or Treat is the first song focused on Munch since Nobody Knows (Which came out over a year, prior), and he even gets to sing the ending verse, which was pretty satisfying. Then, all of the characters take a verse in Costume Party, which is a very memorable, and well written song. Sure, Pasqually is the only one who doesn't take a verse in Costume Party, but he still gets plenty of dialogue, making Costume Party a very solid song. Both of these songs are very well written, and Trick or Treat has awesome music, while Costume Party has an interesting plotline. This is a more decent show. 8. August 2015 Show I'm not sure what to say about this show. You'd think I'd not include Most Epic Mouse, or It's a Date in the review, since they aren't programmed, but, considering the circumstances that Dept. 18 faced (What with moving to a new building), I'll include them as official songs in this show. This is the first show in the era to have 4 songs! So it was really awesome to see 4 songs when this show came out. Sure, 2 weren't programmed, but they were still really awesome songs. Most Epic Mouse is very lengthy, which is good in this modern era, and is full of comedic moments. Most Epic Mouse also has a great plot, and a lot of the characters get involved, not to mention the song itself is pretty darn good. Now, there's It's a Date, which is a pretty average song, but has it's pros, like Steve Water's appearance, and the music in Chuck's singing. Not to mention, the reused songs are awesome! I love All for Fun, and Fun for All, it's such an energetic song, and Dancin' Kitten is a very memorable, enjoyable song. This showtape is a very nice showtape, not the best show, but still a gem considering the shows that surround it. 7. Chucktober 2016 Show (Aka: Halloween 2016 Show) This is a pretty good show. I mentioned all the positives about Trick or Treat, and Costume Party above, so it was really nice to see those again. Plus, this song introduces an AWESOME new song, Billy & the Bully! B&TB has really excellent, and memorable music to it, not to mention it has a great message to it, and the new VAs' Helen, and Jeremy's Jasper do a great job singing backup for Jaret's Chuck in this song. It's a highlight of the show, and is really awesome to see appear in this show. The only problem is Most Epic Mouse's return. I love Most Epic Mouse, but really, they could've chose a different song to reuse, since Most Epic Mouse was just used earlier that year, in the January 2016 Show. It's still a great song, nonetheless, and it's lengthy, so that's still a plus. This is all in all a pretty good show, with a nice selection of songs, as well as an awesome new song. 6. September 2016 Show Just like the Chucktober 2016 Show, this show is, as well, a pretty good show. The return of Rockin' Robot is awesome, and seeing Let's Have a Party reused for the first time is really great. Cowboy's Life for Me was a highlight in the April 2016 show, and it's really great seeing it return in this show, plut Nothing Like a Walk is a pretty nice song, and really fits in this show, which is about Jasper's Birthday. It's pretty nice seeing the Happy Birthday Jasper programmed intermission as well. This show has a great song selection, all in all. It's not the best show of the era, but still does very well, when it comes to choosing songs. 5. June 2016 Show Out of all the shows in this era, this show is most like a "Best of..." show. But Studio Stage, aren't all shows that reuse songs in this era are Best Of shows? Possibly, but if I had to call one of the shows in this era a Best of show, it would have to be this one. For starters, this show contains 5 songs, which is an increase compared to the 4 songs from the previous 3 shows in the year. And, all 5 of these songs are reused. I do consider this a "Best Of..." show, since a lot of the songs in this show are from their own separate shows. Arizona hasn't been reused yet, and it's a really great song from the Summer 2014 show, Nobody Knows as well is from the Summer 2014 show, and yes, while it was reused just 3 months prior, it's one of the few songs that Chris Hill sings lead as Munch, so it really is still a treat to have a Munch song. Party With You is from the January 2015 Show, and hasn't been reused yet, so that's pretty awesome, In the Future is a song I love, and I don't mind seeing it return, despite being used just 3 months prior (but unlike the Thanksgiving Show which had only 4 songs, this show has 6, yes i'm including the programmed intermission). Gamin' Time shouldn't have been in this show, since it was just used, but since this show does celebrate Helen's Birthday, I'd say it makes sense, especially with Helen's new VA. Finally, the first ever Birthday programmed intermission debuts, so that's pretty awesome. All in all, this is a really good show. I get why people dislike it, but personally, I enjoy it. 4. January 2016 Show This was a great way to start off 2016! With 2 new songs, and 2 reused songs, it's a great balance after months of 2 song showtapes. All 4 songs are programmed in this one, too! Let's Have a Party is a really great song, and has a great medley, as well as very memorable lyrics, and the whole party vibe is awesome. Keep Drummin' is an awesome song dedicated to Pasqually, with really awesome music, and fun lyrics. Not to mention, it's about time Pasqually got the recognition he deserved, after a year practically over shadowing Pasqually (Except in "Sasquatch", yes I shortened the name, and in Most Epic Mouse). And the reused songs have not yet been reused yet! "Phil" (Also shortened) returns, which is great, and Most Epic Mouse returns, but this time, now programmed! So...wouldn't it be a new song then, now that it's programmed? All in all, this is a great showtape, and I really enjoy it. 3. April 2016 Show Yes, the first showtape in the era to have 4 new songs, and all of these songs are very memorable! The variety in this show is incredible, as Munch takes the lead in Rainy Day (Chuck doesn't even sing in Rainy Day!), Helen takes lead in Gamin' Time (While Chuck, for once does backup), all of the characters take a verse in Cowboy's Life for Me (But Pasqually is the one that steals the show), and Chuck sings a special lead in Birthday's Are Special. This show has a great variety of character performances, and very memorable songs. The songs are really well written, and the different themes are awesome. Although, I do believe the performances are lacking in this show (Except for Chuck in Birthday's are Special), the unique songs in this show, and the fact that they're all new really makes up for it. 2. March 2016 Show That's right, the March 2016 Show. I LOVE this show! Probably because it was the show when I took my trip to Maryland CECs, but still, it is an awesome show! In the Future is reused for the first time, which is awesome, for the first time since the Summer 2014 Show, we hear Munch sing lead in a song, in Nobody Knows returning (Which is awesome, because Munch hardly had any singing at all in 2015), It's a Date returns for the first time, and is programmed for the first time (Making that technically a new song?), and Because We're Friends makes a return, which is kind of funny, considering this show came out on the 1 year anniversary of when this era started, and the first show contained Because We're Friends, so that's pretty ironic. All in all, I really love this show. It's the first show in ages Munch gets a lead song, has a great song selection, with an awesome return of In the Future, and a nice return of Because We're Friends, as well as the debut of the programmed version of It's a Date, I love this show. Finally... 1. Summer 2016 Show I can't tell you how much I love this show! The songs are great, and top notch quality in this show! This show has 4 new songs in total, and they're all very memorable! Song Title is very funny, and is the first song in ages that Munch and Jasper sing lead in together, not to mention it's very well written, and pretty realistic when it comes to Jasper and Munch trying to make up lyrics off the top of their head. Dream Big is a decent song, having a great message to it, and pretty unique music to it. Nothing Like a Walk is a really nice song, with excellent footage (Sorry, I just had to compliment the footage), as well as a nice song sung by Jasper and Chuck. This has got to be the first song since the January 2015 Show that Jasper sings lead in. Sure, Chuck sings lead as well, but Jasper seems to really lead this song more than Chuck. The lyrics are creative, and well written. Finally, my favorite song from 2016, Out of this World! I had no idea what to expect with this song, until I heard it clearly for the first time, and I fell in LOVE with it! It is such an awesome song, and is the first original about the Summer since 2007, so that's pretty special! This song has a very unique, and awesome medley, and music to it, and Jasper, Munch, and Pasqually do an excellent job backing up Chuck, and Helen. I love this song, and it really makes this wonderful show, all the more complete! So there you have it, I've covered all the eras. Up next: Holiday Shows. Now, since I can't stand listening to Holiday themed shows outside of the months of November, and December, I made this list separate from the other lists. I don't know why, I just hate Christmas songs outside of these 2 months. I'm okay listening to Summertime songs any time of the year, but Christmas songs...not really. Anyway, it's time for all of the Holiday Shows ranked. Now, since the Holiday Shows tend to be very repetitive when it comes to their song selection, I'm only going to do the summaries for the top 5. And now, without further ado. Every CEC Holiday Show Ranked 10. Xmas 1991 Show 9. Chuck E’s Magical Holiday Celebration 8. Holiday 2015 Show 7. Holiday 2016 Show 6. Happy Holidays 2012-2013 5. Holiday 2014 Show This is a very wonderful show. I loved the Holiday 2015 show when it first came out, so this is pretty much a more complete version of the Holiday 2015 Show. A lot of the songs in this show are winners. I love "What do you get a Sasquatch for Chirstmas?", and "Jasper's Snowman". They're both excellent originals, extremely well written, and beautifully performed by Jeremy doing Pasqually in Sasquatch, and Jasper in Jasper's Snowman. The plotline of this show is probably the weakest plotline in the Acts format, but still plenty of awesome characters make their final appearance in this show like Betty, and Larry, 2 of my favorite CEC side characters. Merry Christmastime is very well written, and is nice, and peaceful, and gets you in the Christmas spirit. Let's Play Some Games For the Holidays is a nice choice, considering it was already used in a 2012 commercial. I wonder if they'll ever use Say Cheese It's Funner. Sure, I don't really care for that song, but it'd be interesting. Christmas Medley is nice, and I enjoy seeing all of the characters get together in a show one final time, to celebrate Christmas with this selection of character covers. Share the Joy is an AWESOME RETURN!!! I love the original Share the Joy, and this performance is wonderful, and just as awesome as the original performance! It's an awesome remake, not as awesome as the 2016 remake, but still very good. This is a great holiday show, and is indeed one of the best holiday shows! 4. Chuck E’s Holiday Party (Holiday 1999-2001; 2008-2010 Show) This show has a lot of very memorable performances by the characters. It has a more unique song selection, not focusing on the more traditional songs like Jingle Bells, but focusing on more unique songs like Feliz Navidad, and Mele Kalikimaka. I really enjoy this show, for it's variety of lesser used Christmas songs, rather than the repetitive Santa Clause is Comin' to Town, and Rudolph the Red nosed Reindeer, etc. The VAs do a really good job performing the characters in this show. Duncan Chuck's Holly Jolly Christmas is awesome, and is a great song performance, Jeremy's Jasper does a great job performing Feliz Navidad, and Earl's Pasqually does a fine job performing Mele Kalikimaka. Even then, the original Big Bad Santa is a wonderful song, and a highlight in this show! Although not all of the songs are great, it's still a really solid holiday show, and I really enjoy it. 3. Happy Holidays 2002-2007, 2011 I feel as though all of the song performances in this long running show are really awesome performances! While Holiday Party did have a more original song selection, this show had OUTSTANDING PERFORMANCES! I don't know why, I feel as though the VAs really upped their game in this show, delivering some of their most strongest performances as the characters. Duncan's Chuck does a beyond excellent job leading Holly Jolly Christmas, and John's Munch did a great job singing Oh Christmas Tree. Honestly, I really enjoy this show. While the songs aren't as good as Holiday Party in my opinion, the performances, and music in this show is really excellent. I feel as though sometimes the songs drag out a little bit too long, but the performances make up for that. This is a really high quality show! 2. Holiday Special 1992-1994 This show is wonderful! I love this show! All of the songs are winners in my opinion, and it's a really excellent show. Charles does an OUTSTANDING job as Jasper in Santa Claus is Comin' to Town, and Rockin' Around the Christmas Tree. Here we come-a caroling is a very great performance by Scott, Bob, and Charles! They all do a really great job singing this song. Not to mention, this song has a unique feeling to it, feeling like an actual carol performance, the way it sounds, rather than sounding like it was recorded in the studio. Annagrey did a very memorable performance in Silver Bells, and Rudolph was a pretty good performance as well. The version of Share the Joy in this show is one of my favorite versions! I love this version of Share the Joy between Scott, and Annagrey, and it's all in all a really satisfying song. I love this show, and this is one of the best holiday shows CEC has produced! And last, but not least... 1. Happy Holidays 1998 I never thought I'd see the day, where a 1998 show would reach #1 on one of my lists. This show is an EXCELLENT compilation show! Remember how highly I spoke about the Holiday 1992-1994 Show? Well, this show takes that entire show, and adds even more to it! Sure, Xmas 1991 is last on this list, as I like it the least (The performances just aren't that good in my opinion), but when you add even more material to an already awesome showtape, you can't deny that this is a high quality showtape! 1998 was one of the worst years in CEC history for shows, and this show makes up for the garbage 1998 had to offer from May to November. All in all, I really enjoy this show, and I find this to be the best holiday show out of them all! Hang tight, because we still have more rankings coming soon! Holly Jolly Christmas wasn't on the holiday 2002 show. Deck the halls was in the holiday 2002 show. |

Now, we're getting close to the final rankings, so let's rank the eras! Every CEC Show Era Ranked 6. The Testing Era (1995-1998) Yeah, this era overall pretty much stinks. 1995, 1998, and the first half of 1996 really bring this era down. This era tested out a lot of new show concepts/formats, and a lot of them pretty much failed. From August 1996-January 1998, the shows were indeed pretty good, some of my favorite songs came out from this range, but there are too many poor quality shows that just make this era flop. This era had some of the worst shows I've ever laid my eyes on, but there are still a few really good quality shows from this era. 5. The Music Video Era (March 2016-Present) You can't deny it, the current era we're in, just isn't as good as the other eras we've had in the 21st century. The songs in these shows are most of the time just plain good. Nothing spectacular, I've only seen a few songs I consider to be totally awesome (In the Future, Out of this World, and Billy & the Bully). Not to mention, the lack of songs in these shows. Sure, the 2016 shows definitely improved over the 2015 shows, but the shows nowadays still don't have as many songs as the previous eras did, for the most part. 4. The Rockstar Era (September 2012-January 2015) Alright, so this era kinda got off on a rocky start. The September 2012 Show was great, but things just kind of slowed down from there, as most of the shows contained songs Duncan had previously covered in a far superior performance than Jaret. Thankfully, things really started to pick up in the amazing September 2013 Show, which seemed to have its own footing, with perfect song selections, wonderful performances, and even starting doing story lines in the show (But thankfully, the story lines didn't really effect the songs in a negative way like the early '96 shows did). 2014 was when this era really found its footing with so many awesome songs, as well as testing out the Acts format. Even then, the Acts format was a good blend between programmed songs, and story lines within the footage. All in all, this era was a really good era, with awesome showtapes, and bad showtapes. 3. The Munch's Make Believe Band Era (1991-1994) Yeah, this era isn't #1 on the list. Many fans probably would, but to be honest, I didn't really care for this era that much until I listened to the 1993 shows. This era started off with huge potential with the CU Premiere, but kinda pushed that potential away with lame shows that focused more on an overall theme. I don't mind the themes, I really like the Future theme, as well as the Rock n' Roll Space theme, but really the themes force songs focused more towards a younger kid audience, rather than an "For all ages" range. Thankfully, this really picks up in 1993 (Sure 1992 did have the Physical Fitness show, but it was 1993 where things really got better), as songs for adults, teens, kids, and toddlers alike can enjoy, really making for great showtapes. Then came the 1994 shows where things were really knocked out of the park with WONDEFUL quality shows, with so many awesome song performances. This is a pretty good good era, with a very weak start, but outstanding end. 2. The Modern Age Era (September 2006-August 2012) This is one of the greatest eras CEC has ever had. So many awesome songs came out of this era, with tons of memorable performances and covers. I really love this era, as it has a lot of great character performances, as well as awesome song selections! They did a great job in this era balancing out covers of older songs, and more recent songs at the time. Plus, this era reused plenty of awesome songs from the 1999-2005 era in their "Best Of..." showtapes, allowing the awesomeness from that era, to blend in with the awesomeness from this era. A lot of awesome music came out of this era, and I really do love this era for the outstanding performances of covers. Although there are less originals and parodies from the previous era, it is still an excellent era! And of course... 1. The Golden Era (1999-2005) Of course this era was going to be number 1! I heard so many awesome things about this era and I thought to myself "Let's wait, and see", and when I listened to it, I was BLOWN AWAY by the outstanding quality in these shows! So many shows from this era are outstanding! This is the most solid, and perfect era out of the bunch, as most of them I consider to be really good! Even if it's as low as #20 on the list, I still considered the show to be really good! This show does an outstanding job with blending awesome covers, hilarious parodies, and wonderful originals! So many showtapes from this era I love, and I really consider this to be the best era! From 1999-2003 almost all of the shows were great, while a few were pretty weak. 2004 had the outstanding September 2004 Show allowing 2004 to become a much better quality year, after the weaker shows at the start. 2005 is average, and isn't that special, but there are still some awesome songs from 2005. All in all, this is the most perfect era out of the bunch, as there are only about 3 or 4 shows I consider to be poor quality. All in all, I love this era, and it is the best era out of them all! Now it's time to take a look at the YEARS! Years? That's right, years. here's my ranking for the worst quality year for showtapes, to the best quality year for showtapes! Except 2017, as that year has not yet been finished to be judged. 26. 1995 Yeah, this one is worse than 1998. Why? Well, at least 1998 had 2 really good shows (Blast From the Past, and Happy Holidays), while 1995 had no really good shows! All of the shows from this year either range from being pathetic to decent. The showtapes generally tend to get really boring, which is an issue, and the format just doesn't really seem to do all that well. For instance, if the main song in the showtape is a song you don't like, you're stuck listening to it for the rest of the shows. Not to mention, just listening to this show is just plain boring. I mean, watching to footage can be pretty cool (When It's new content, and not lazily recycled Disney footage), but the point about this whole "Ranking" series is how good the music sounds, not how awesome the footage is. If I was judging by footage any show with Steve Waters would've reached #1 by now, but anyway, this year was just an overall terrible year for shows. None of the shows are good quality, and are either terrible, or decent, and there's hardly any actual memorable songs from this year. 25. 1998 This one's self explanatory. Just look at the amount of "effort" put into the Studio C shows. It's as much effort as making a reaction video. They were slightly creative with the dialogue in the May show, but other than that, it feels as if no effort was put into these shows whatsoever. The January Show, and the Holiday shows are really the ones that save this year from being at #25, because at least the January, and Holiday shows from this year are likable. All in all this was a very crummy year, with hardly any effort put into the shows. 24. 1996 Don't get me wrong, I love the Awesome Adventure Machine show. It's my favorite show from the 1995-1998 era as a whole! But, it still can't make up for the fact that the first 2 shows in this year were complete GARBAGE! Everything about the first 2 shows are extremely unlikable, annoying, boring, or frustrating, and I can't stand those shows. Heck, I'd prefer a 1995 show any day! Even if 1995 is lower than 1996, it's really the AAM show that saves this year from being complete trash, because believe me, this would be #25 if it weren't for the AAM show. 23. 2015 You can't ignore the fact that the 2015 shows were horrible in quality. With only 2 programmed songs per show, it really made for a terrible year. The January Show, and the Holiday show are the saving grace for this year, but it still is a very lousy year. Unlike the other years above, this year actually had a valid reason why the shows had to be so crappy. CECE was moving into a new building, which meant budget cuts, and less time to program the bots. Dept. 18 has definitely made up for the crappy year this was, in 2016, and even now in 2017. Even then, at least the new songs in this year were pretty good, and actually had a lot of effort put into them, having very creative lyrics to them. In the end, this is definitely the worst year in this decade, and even the worst year in the 21st century. This was year was just a bad quality year (But it still had some nice songs though). 22. 1991 Alright, I know for a fact that I am going to get EXTREME hate for putting 1991 before 2016! Let me explain my reasoning. The songs in this era are just flat out lame, and forgettable. This era doesn't suffer from lack of effort, oh goodness no, there's plenty of effort put into these shows. It's just that well, I don't like any of the shows in this year. They mostly have a theme to them, and that usually causes very lame, forgetful originals to be used. I'm not saying that originals are bad, there are plenty of CEC originals I like, but these shows are aimed more at little kids, than they are anyone older! I get they're trying to attract kids, it is a kids band after all, but this year just flops with being appealing to anyone over the age of 7! I feel as though this year missed an opportunity to try out doing covers. PTT did covers for years! Heck, the CU Premiere, which is one of the greatest showtapes CEC has ever produced is full of covers! I mean, these shows do have covers, but they're usually boring nursery rhymes like This Old Man, and there's hardly any exciting covers in this year like Rhythm of the Night. There are definitely good songs in this year, but the showtapes are just so lame to me, that I'd rather watch showtapes from any other year in the early 90's! This is definitely not CEC's greatest year. 20. 2016 Alright, here's 2016! So why is 2016 better than 1991? I feel as if 2016 manages to produce much more memorable songs than 1991 did. 1991 had a few memorable songs, but some of them are memorable in a negative way. This year managed to produce plenty of creative, and somewhat comical songs that 1991 lacked. Some songs in this year had awesome music like Billy & the Bully, and Let's Have a Party, while others had comedic moments like Rainy Day & Cowboy's Life for Me. This year is a step up from 1991, and 2015 in my opinion, but it's nowhere near as awesome as a year as others are on this list. I think it's just because the budget cuts still exist, and Dept. 18 still can't do covers, and for some odd reason, they chose not to do parodies (I guess to allow more creative, original writing to be used in the show, although parodies would allow them to increase the amount of songs in shows, and would allow them to reuse songs less often). All in all, this was a decent year. By far better than previous years above on the list, but nowhere as near as awesome as some of the years we will get to on the list. A good improvement over 2015, though. 19. 2010 I don't really think 2010 was a good year for the quality in showtapes. I mean, maybe it's just because there's little footage of shows from this year on Youtube compared to years surrounding it, like 2009, and 2011. But this year suffers from having fresh, new content. The January show just recycles both the Just for Kids Show (A terrible show) in the morning and first half of the afternoon, and the April 2005 Show (Decent Show) for the other half of the day. Then, the Summer show reuses songs from the Summer 2007-2009 show, and songs directly from the April 2010 Show (Which sounds pretty cheap, and somewhat lazy if you ask me), and the September show? The September Show is just another "Best Of..." show, and the holiday show is the same Holiday show they've used before. The only show in this entire year that contains new material is the April 2010 show, which is a pretty good show if you ask me, but unfortunately suffers from having hardly any footage of it online (Hopefully, Matt the Franchize can upload the files of the show, that he thought were lost, that he recently discovered a few months back). Other than that, this year is just full of repeats, and that really lowers down the quality of this year. Heck, they didn't even provide new dialogue for any of the shows with reused material! I don't expect them to always do that (Example: I love the Best of CEC TV January 2003 Show, which has no new dialogue), but when you have an entire year with hardly any new material, yeah...it's not that good... 18. 2000 This year is a more mixed year. On one hand, I enjoy Chuck E's Variety Show, and the Summer Show, while on the other hand, the September show was pretty weak (Aside from segment 1), and the Just for Kids show was garbage. So this is just a pretty mixed year. Nothing to really say about it, there were good shows, and there were bad shows. 17. 1992 1992 seemed to suffer from the same thing 1991 suffered from, with really forgetful songs. Thankfully though, this year does improve from 1991, as it includes covers that are for a variety of different age ranges, allowing really awesome shows like Working For a Living, and Physical Fitness to come out. Even then, the themes for the show have improved from before like the whole "Rock 'n Roll Space theme" to a theme dedicated around ways to travel. Still, there are weak shows in this year dragging it down, along with the really good shows (Weak shows like Environmental). 16. 2013 Why would 2013 be this low on the list? 2013 had the amazing September 2013 show! Well, just like 2000, there are good shows, and there are bad shows. The "Best Of..." show in January was just a step down, as all of the songs were Duncan songs, now with Jaret singing them, which give them a lower quality. The April show is very forgetful, and don't really seem to have that great of a song selection, as other shows. The Summer Show was a step up, as I did like the song selection (Since it was the awesome Summer 2012 show, just redubbed), and Jaret did pretty well singing as Chuck in those songs. The year then reached its peak with the marvelous, incredible, outstanding, wonderful, easily describable, September 2013 show! Really, without this show, this year would probably be lower on the list, but it does manage to keep it from being as low as the 20s. 15. 2005 Definitely the weakest year out of the 1999-2005 era. While 1999-2003 was almost flawless, with an awesome September show in 2004, this year just suffers from being a mediocre year. The showtapes in this year, just aren't as special as the other shows earlier in the era, and I feel as if the shows kind of lose their touch in this year. Heck, even a majority of the shows from the beginning of the Modern Era in 2006-2007 were better than these shows. These shows were just average, with nothing really special about them, that makes your jaw drop in amazement. The shows are alright, they aren't terrible, but they aren't spectacular, so this is just a "Middle in the Road" year. 14. 2006 As mentioned earlier, the 2006 shows are better than the 2005 shows by a long shot. The first half of this year was spectacular, with the AMAZING April 2006 show, which is perfect in every way, and the awesome January show. But then, there's the September show, which is my least favorite show in the entire era. This show's first 2 segments are completely terrible in my opinion, and I really dislike this show *The reused material in this show is better than the new material for the most part!* So, with the mix of 2 awesome new shows, and 1 horrible new show, it leaves this high on the list, but not too high, and not too low. 13. 2004 Yeah, the first 2 shows in this year are just average, with nothing too special about them. The January show is pretty good, but nothing awesome, the April show was pretty bad in my opinion, and then kicks in THE SEPTEMBER SHOW, OH MY GOODNESS THE SEPTEMBER SHOW!!!! I love the September 2004 show, as it's one of my favorite CEC shows of all time. I believe that the September show really separates this year from the weaker years in CEC's history, while the April show prevents this year from being with the awesome years for shows. All in all, this is a good year. Not too good, but just plain good. 12. 1997 Yep, 1997 is better than 2004 in my opinion. In fact, I believe this is the best year out of the testing era. Why? This year provided us with the best, most solid content in the shows in that era. With so many awesome covers like Secret Agent Man, I Like it Like That, Car Wash, Walk the Dinosaur, as well as the really good Jukebox Jam show, it really makes for a solid year, in fact the best year in the 2nd half of the 90's, outside of 1999. All of the shows in this year are really good in my opinion. It's a really good year. 11. 2001 Oh boy. We're getting into awesome territory now. 2001 is one of the greatest years CEC has ever witnessed! The January, and September Show were both top notch. The Summer show built on to the already awesome Summer 2000 Show. Now, they aren't the most awesome shows, but are still really great shows. I believe Chuck E's Rocking Rhymes (Which was a mediocre show) prevented this from being in the Top 10, but that doesn't exclude the fact that this is a really great year. 10. 2009 Oh boy, 2009. 2009 has some of the best song performances ever done in CEC history! Chuck E's Totally Tubular 80's show, while not being the most solid show in the year, had awesome performances like Everybody Wants to Rule the World, Shout [Tears for Fears version], Overkill, and the original, Little Bit of 80's, the April show had a really solid plot, and had some excellent song performances like When Did Your Heart Go Missing?, Super Chuck E, and Year 3000. The September show is one of the best of the era, and is a truly wonderful show, where every song is a winner. This is a really great year, as well. 9. 2003 This year is another great year for shows. It has an awesome "Best Of..." show, as it covers some of the greatest CEC songs out there, that came out in 2000-2002, and the April Show had a really great plot, with memorable music, and worked as a good parody of Back to the Future. The Summer Show provided us with awesome songs like Bar-BQ, Picnic, and Baseball Diamond Dreams, making for a really great show, and the September Show is downright awesome with great performances, and music. All in all, 2003 was one of the best years for CEC shows! 8. 1993 This year was a really great year for showtapes. I believe this year was when shows began to really take a turn for the better in the MMBB era, focusing more on covers, than the theme of the show. So many awesome songs came out of this era from Soul Man, to Feel the Rhythm, Ball Crawl, I feel Good, I'm So Excited, etc. While some shows weren't that spectacular, it was still a very solid year, and an overall great year for shows! 7. 2007 2007 was a really solid year for shows. While the January Show wasn't the best, it did offer 2 great songs (Good Life, and It's Your Thing), the April show was awesome, with really excellent song choices, the Summer show was full of memorable, awesome songs like Hot Sauce, Chuck E Cheese, etc., and the September show is truly the greatest anniversary show that CEC has ever done, with an epic song selection, topping off a wonderful year. All in all, this was a wonderful year for shows, and is quite important in CEC's history. 6. 2011 This year was a really solid year as well. The first show was pretty weak, but the May, and September show totally made up for it! This year made up for the constant repeats in 2010, allowing this year to give out tons of new content for the CEC fans to enjoy. The May show is one of the best CEC shows out there, with wonderful songs, and plenty of dialogue, the September show has an outstanding song selection as well. All in all, this is a really wonderful year for CEC shows. 5. 2014 WHAT!? Why would 2014 be at #5!? WHAT'S WRONG WITH YOU, STUDIO STAGE!? Personally, I believe that this is the last awesome year we had for shows, as this year was a really awesome year. The January show was incredible, with outstanding performances from the characters, and a very memorable plotline, making for an outstanding way to start off the year. The last official "Best Of..." show was a really good show, as it successfully captured the very best from the Rockstar Era, the Chuck E Cheese Show was a great show, having a wide variety of character performances, and and tons of awesome, memorable originals. The September Show was pretty good, having some awesome cover performances, while more weaker songs came in. And the first new holiday show in years, being a truly wonderful holiday show, with plenty of memorable, and awesome songs. This was an awesome year, and is one of the greatest quality years for CEC shows. 4. 2012 Yes, I consider 2012 to be one of the greatest years for CEC shows. This year was an awesome, year as all of the shows from this year were awesome! I loved them all! The Best Of CEC TV show had an awesome song selection, the April show was an overall awesome show, having great character performances, and an awesome song selection, the Summer show captured the very best of all of the CEC summer themed shows, and the September show was a really great way to start off the Rockstar Era. This year is just perfect, as all of the shows are spectacular in this year! 3. 1999 Of course this year was going to be in the top 3! This is the year that revolutionized CEC shows! This was the year that allowed us to have all the outstanding, wonderful quality shows in the first few years of the 2000's. This is a really great year, as it's the best CEC has been in years, after the disastrous Testing Era. All in all, this year offers so many great shows, from Dance Party, to Chuck E's Fabulous World Adventure, this year is just a perfectly solid year, where all of the shows are winners! This year is a huge changing point, as it opened up the gate for a format that would last for 15 years! Now that's a deal! 2. 1994 This may be controversial, but I love the 1994 shows more than almost all of the shows from 1991-1993! 1994 was such a fantastic year for shows! All of the shows in this year are wonderful! Let the Good Times Roll is a great debut for Duncan, as he does very well in that show, Spring Break does an even better job with having so many outstanding songs, Patriotic '94 is an awesome show in so many ways, and the September 1994 show is just perfect! I love the year 1994 for CEC, as it was an outstanding year for CEC shows! And finally, the number 1 best year for CEC shows is... 1. 2002 2002 is a flawless year! All of the shows are winners, and I LOVE THIS YEAR! This year gives us some of the greatest CEC songs in history, and is an incredible, outstanding, perfect year! With 2 of it's shows in the Top 5 in the Best era is really incredible, and this year is just such a marvelous year, with flawless shows, and incredible performances, I love this year. All of the shows are awesome in this year. January show has a great song selection. April show is perfect in every way, the Summer show is a great summer show, the September show is spectacular, and the Holiday show provides so many awesome performances! I love this year, and it is truly the greatest year for CEC shows! D'oh! I messed up! Edited by Studio Stage, Feb 4 2017, 04:30 PM.

Thanks, that really means a lot to me, as I've spend hours working on this project for the past 7 months. Well, this would be the part where I list my picks for the Top 10 Best CEC Showtapes. But considering how predictable that would be, we're going to mix it up a little, by choosing the Top 10 Best Quality CEC shows. Meaning, I'm looking for the most solid, perfect shows out of the 26 total years of shows. This means, that even if a show is high on the list, it's possible for a show lower than it, to make it on the list, without it. For example, I love the Best of CEC TV January 2003 show, it's one of my favorite CEC shows. But, since there's 1 song in the show I don't like (Jump), it's not going to be on this list. Got that? Before we go, here's a short list of my picks for the top 5 worst CEC shows (In my opinion). Oh yeah, no 1998 shows, because that would just be cheating 5. Summer 2015 Show 4. Friends (January 1991 Show) 3. Just for Kids Show 2. Chuck E's Tall Tales 1. Chuck E's Totally Awesome Kids Show Alright, on with the list! Top 10 Best Quality CEC Showtapes 10. May 2011 Show Of course, this list just wouldn't be right without the May 2011 show! This show has a real high quality to it. Not only do the song performances sound more over the top in general, compared to most other shows (What with Duncan having Chuck do an impression of the original artist who performed Word Up, as well as Munch's voice being more technological sounding in I Ran, as well as the unique music in Don't You Wanna Share), but the dialogue is also stretched out a lot more. The conversation between the characters seem to last longer, and even then, on-screen characters appear such as Jigawatt, or Rob the Script Writer, extending the dialogue even more! And even then, the dialogue doesn't really sound that forced, and comes across as more natural (Especially Rob's performance as Jasper). This show includes an impressive amount of originals (Especially considering the little amount of originals that came out in the "Modern Age" compared to the "Golden Age"), and the originals I feel are really well written, and really leaves a satisfying, memorable chunk of the show. The song performances are just all in all, really awesome (Some of the best performances I've seen), and I believe this show is really high quality, and succeeds as an awesome show. 9. September 2007 Show I've said this before, and I'll say it again, this is the best anniversary show CEC has ever done. Granted, the only other Anniversary show was the 20th anniversary show back in 1997, and we haven't even gotten this year's 40th anniversary show, but it's going to be really hard to top this one. This show has an excellent song selection, and really fits as an anniversary show. You know why? It includes many references to the past! For starters, Every Boy and Every Girl returns (And is even better than the original 1997 version! And I mean MUCH better), they reference Doctor Googleplex, who was the main character in the memorable April 2003 show, and even sing Back in Time (The main song of the movie they parodied in the April 2003 Show). Turn the Beat around, possibly the best song out of the entire "Testing Era", makes a surprisingly return in this show (Although not as good as the original, it's still really good). Finally, Heart of Rock 'n Roll from the Concept Unification show makes another surprising return! Now, this show does awesome with it's song selection, not only referencing older shows, but also doing awesome remakes of these songs in the process! Although some aren't as good as the originals, it's still pretty awesome. And even then, the new performances are just as awesome! Earl's Pasqually does a very special, beautiful performance in This Magic Moment, and Jeremy's Jasper does a great job in Happy to Be Stuck with You, and Duncan's Chuck does a great job with All Star, and Get Up, Get down. All in all, this is an excellent quality show, and is really an outstanding tribute to all CEC fans around. 8. September 1994 Show Remember how 1994 was my second favorite year on my year ranking list? Well, I still stand by that. I believe 1994 was one of the greatest years for the shows, and really, there's not a single showtape from that year I dislike. But which one do I love the most? The September 1994 Show! The September 1994 show is a FANTASTIC show! Segment 2 just overall leads this show to victory! I LOVE Charles' performance in Hound Dog. It was an excellent song choice, and really, he's probably the best Jasper VA to sing that song, considering all of the other VAs gave Jasper a country accent (Except the trashy one who voiced him in 1995, but we won't talk about that). This show just manages to be an all in all memorable show, possibly one of the most memorable shows in CEC's history! Hound Dog is fantastic, Duncan's "Smooth Jazz" voice for Munch really works well, and the performance of Old Time Rock n' Roll is just amazing! The duet between Annagrey's Helen, and Duncan's Chuck in It Takes Two was a nice surprise, and was an excellent song. By the Silvery Moon, while at first being weaker than the other songs in this show, is still a very nice performance, and I believe this is the best Doug's done voicing Pasqually. Surfing USA was a nice choice, and Party Place is still a rocking song. All of the songs are extremely memorable, and are wonderful songs to listen to, making this a really awesome show! Really, I think this show had the right song selection, at the right time, because I don't think these performances would've been as good if it had the VAs from the 2000's, or even the current VA lineup. I guess It Takes Two would work out well, but other than that, not really. So yeah, this is a really excellent quality showtape. 7. Dance Party (April 1999 Show) Really, I don't think any other show is as important in CEC history, as this one is. Maybe the CU Premiere (Or if you're including PTT shows, the May 1977 Show), but that's about it. This show is the main turning point in CEC's history. Sure, Chuck E's Time Traveling Review is technically the turning point, but this is when things really begin to kick off, with awesome shows, the new show format, as well as the VA lineup which would last for over 12 years (I'm not counting the months during May 2011-November 2011). This showtape nonetheless, is very significant, and is one of the most famous CEC shows of all time. If you just ask someone what they're top 10 is, it's a pretty good chance, this show is in the list. And who could blame them? This show is an awesome show! Out of all the themes in 1999, this show is probably the best theme that CEC has covered. Sure, Chuck E's Fabulous World Adventure had a great "Adventure" aspect to it, and Chuck E's Terrific Time Travel Review" was a really creative show (Especially being made in the last year of the 20th century). This show's theme works out great, and this show has an awesome selection of originals! This show is chuck full of (No pun intended ) awesome, and very memorable originals! Pizza Serenade, Let's Dance, Dancin' and Singin', seriously, whoever wrote the songs in this show is extremely talented at writing fun, and memorable, amazing quality originals! Awesome parodies like Hip Mouse, and Chuck E Town appear, and a really good song cover, Dancing on the Ceiling. All in all, this is an excellent quality showtape, having really well written originals to correspond with a great theme!6. September 2013 Show Out of all of the shows in the Rockstar era, this one is the best. Heck, out of all of the shows since the Rockstar era started in September 2012, this one is the best showtape out of the bunch! I LOVE this show! When I first heard it, I was blown away by how awesome it was! The first few shows of the Rockstar era just felt like a show with Duncan, with a different Chuck, and nothing really made it shine, or stand out...at least, not until this show came. This show is an awesome show! The song selection in this show is incredible, and the performances still amaze me to this day about how excellent they are! They sound like a professional band in 1985 (Most likely because Jaret, the current voice of Chuck originally sang that song with his band, Bowling For Soup), and the performance in Good Time, OH MY GOODNESS! When I first heard Good Time, I was blown away by how spectacular this performance was. It felt like not only Chuck, nor Helen, but EVERYONE was getting involved! Sure, that was the case in the chorus, but the chorus is incredible, and if every CEC character got together, former, or current, this performance would be what that performance with them would be like. This song performance is incredible, and blows me away. Even then, the songs just never decreased in quality, they just kept going over, and over, and over again with the awesome "Blown Away" factor. I never thought CEC would do a cover of "Cars" until I heard this show, so that was a fantastic surprise. Jeremy's Jasper does a fantastic job performing Home, and Jeremy also does a great job as Pasqually in Eye of the Tiger singing with Steve, and Jaret's Chuck. It's Tricky is a great duet performance by Jasper, and Chuck, really bonding their characters together, showing an actual friendship between the two (Something which hasn't really been established that much, before). All in all, this is a fantastic show, and is one of the greatest quality shows CEC has ever produced! 5. April 2002 Show You remember how much I applauded this show in my 1999-2005 ranking, so of course this was going to make the top 5! This is a FANTASTIC show! I love this show, and I consider this to be one of the greatest CEC shows of all time. It is just FULL of songs I love from the hilarious, and awesome performance of Go to Chuck E Cheese, and the very unique, but amazing CEC Chuck E Cheese. Jasper's memorable That's a Deal, the very well written Keep on Smiling, sung by Chuck. The ridiculously, hilariously written, and catchy I Don't Want to Work sung by Duncan's Chuck, and Earl's Pasqually, the great cover selection with awesome the song performances of Love Train, Everywhere, and Ease of Down the Road. This is such amazing, fantastic show, and I LOVE it! It is one of the highest quality shows CEC has ever made! 4. September 2009 Show I LOVE this show! This show has excellent cover performances! I've never heard these songs before I listened to this show, and I consider these song performances to be some of the greatest song performances CEC has ever done! While most shows above focus on the character performances, this show wins with the MUSIC! The music in this show is excellent, and incredible! I love the unique, and awesome music in Hour Glass, the fun, up-beat music in Let's Dance, the fun, party music in Good to Be Alive and Fun for Everyone, the awesome, catchy music in Some Day, Some Way, and the really great music in Toppings, Don't Let Your Feet Touch Ground, and the nice, slowed down, calm music of I'm Gonna Dream. And the characters do a just as amazing job singing along with the music! The performances aren't amazing, but still really great! I love the songs in this showtape, the performances are amazing, wonderful, and extremely memorable, making this one of the greatest CEC shows of all time. 3. September 2004 Show How could we make this list, without mentioning the incredible, amazing, September 2004 show! While I don't LOVE the songs as much as the 2 showtapes above, I do consider this to be one of the most solid shows of all time. Why? All of the songs are winners! Regardless, I still either really like, or love the songs in this show, just not as much as the 2 shows above, at #4, and #5. I really love this show, as it has such an incredible song selection, with really awesome songs, in an incredible order! Born to Be Wild is an excellent way to start off the show, and is a really great performance, Pepperoni is a fantastic parody, and is probably Earl's greatest performances as Pasqually! It's also a hilarious parody too! Go to Chuck E Cheese is one of my favorite CEC songs out there, and whoever composed this show together did a MASSIVELY awesome decision choosing the perfect song to reuse (Which is not only awesome, but also really fits the show well). Do Ya is an extremely memorable, and catchy performance, and is one of Duncan's Chuck, and Annagrey's Helen, best duets ever done! What a Wonderful World is a very soothing cover, and the music to it is really peaceful, and Duncan does a great job singing lead in this song. Jeremy pulls off a very memorable performance as Jasper in the very catchy song, Smile. What Up is a very well written song, being quite clever, and finally I Want my Chuck E Cheese is a fantastic parody, being a fantastic performance, being very memorable, and catchy, and is the perfect way to end a perfect show! 2. Concept Unification Premiere Yep, the show that started it all, (Obviously, not counting the PTT shows), and it is truly one of the greatest quality shows CEC has ever produced. All of the songs are winners! ALL OF THEM! I can't of anything negative to say about this show, as this show is indeed one of the best shows CEC has ever produced! I LOVE this show, and it's truly amazing. The cover selection is awesome, and the VAs do a spectacular job performing them. Scott does a great job singing Simply Irresistible (A very catchy, and memorable song, which has great music), Heart of Rock 'n Roll totally rocks, as Bob does a fantastic job singing as Pasqually, and the rest of the gang back him up, making for a spectacular performance, Footloose is a fantastic performance, Karlissa does possibly her best performance, singing I Wanna Dance with Somebody, pulling of a spectacular lead. Bob does an extremely memorable, and top-notch performance in The Right Stuff, as does Scott's Munch, and finally, Together We've Got It. The song that started it all, the entire age of CEC shows. An extremely well written introduction, having spectacular music, and wonderful lyrics. This is truly one of the greatest shows in CEC's history. Before we move on to Number 1, here are a few honorable mentions. May 1993 Show Holiday 1992-1994 Show (Hey, I said it was a few) And finally...my choice for the number 1, best quality CEC show is... 1. May 1998 Show Just kidding! April 2006 Show This show, is one of the most underrated shows of all time! Nobody talks about this show at all, and yet, I consider this to be CEC's greatest show in history! The VAs deliver such wonderful, powerful performances in this beautiful show! Duncan does one of his greatest performances of all time in For Once in My Life, Baby, I Need Your Loving, and Reach Out (Both being such spectacular, wonderful songs!). Helen does a fantastic job singing For Once in My Life, and Nowhere to Run (And a very nice job in Come See About Me). Jeremy does an incredible performance in I Want You Back, and the gang do a spectacular job in Getaway, and I Just Want to Celebrate! I've never seen a show as amazing as this one! All of the songs are above, beyond, amazing, and all of them together just truly makes this the greatest CEC show in existence! I LOVE this show, it has awesome music, all of the characters are awesome in this show, and their performances are amazingly outstanding (Wow, so descriptive ), and to this day, I still consider this the greatest CEC show in existence!Thank you for joining me in this wonderful ranking, and stay tuned for the final ranking list! (You mean there's more?- You bet there is!- )That's right. This is the one. This is THE ONE. The big one, the final one, the one that I have never witnessed anyone in the fandom ever attempted. I've listened to almost every single song CEC has ever done (Hey, so are impossible to find online), and out of the hundreds of song performances ever done by Munch's Make Believe Band, I am officially posting the conclusion to this very long project I thought of a year ago, and started to really start working on it, in late June 2016. My picks, for the Top 50 Best CEC Songs. For this list, I'm only going to describe my feelings for the Top 15. Here. We. Go... Top 50 Best CEC Songs 50. Super Chuck E 49. Bar-B-Q [2003-2006; 2012 Version] 48. Shout [Tears for Fears Version] 47. Drinkin’ a Coca Cola 46. Chasin’ Me a Truck 45. I Ran 44. Tumble For Ya 43. Stand By Me 42. Roll with It 41. Good Life 40. Larger Than Life 23. This is How We Do It 22. When Did Your Heart Go Missing? 21. You Spin Me 20. This Magic Moment 19. Go to Chuck E Cheese 18. Toppings 17. Everybody Have Fun Tonight [2012 Version] 16. Feel the Rhythm 15. Shout [2002] Version Now, I've complemented this song before on Duncan's outstanding performance in this song. And I still stand by it. He does such an outstanding job singing lead in this song, putting so much into his performance, absolutely making this one of the greatest CEC songs, with his fabulous, strong lead. Not to mention, this song is already a really great song, and this cover perfectly nails it, making it a fantastic song! The characters do a phenomenal job backing up the strong lead already expressed by Duncan's performance as Chuck, and I truly consider this one of Duncan's greatest performances, really making this one of CEC's greatest covers. 14. Getaway What an awesome song! I love the disco melody, and music that accompanies this song, and it really enlarges my opinion on this spectacular cover! All of the characters do a fantastic job singing to this song, providing for such a lively, fun, party like performance! Duncan once again, pulls off a very strong performance in this song, and I truly admire it! It's really fun, memorable, awesome cover, and out of all the disco-like songs CEC has done, this one is the greatest. 13. Reach Out, I'll be There Hey look, a song from the same show as above! This song cover is even more incredible, with Duncan doing a beyond, outstanding performance in this song! He puts so much effort, and emotion into this performance, really making this one of the best covers CEC has ever done! I love his performance in this song, as he provides for such a strong lead, really making for an awesome song, and the rest of the gang help out too when it comes to singing back, making this song even better than it already was! It's hard to say what Duncan's greatest performance as Chuck is, but in my opinion, I think it just has to be this performance. It is amazing! 12. Overkill I don't know why, I really just consider this to be a beautiful cover! All of the characters make this song! All of them! They do a marvelous job singing so beautifully in this song. When it comes to singing "Beautifully" that rarely happens in CEC songs, in my opinion, but this song performance is just beautiful! Each, and every VA add onto this song's main chorus, really making this a truly beautiful cover! The music in it is beautiful, and Duncan does once again, a marvelous job singing lead in this song, but the main chorus is what really gets me, making this a fantastic, beautiful cover! 11. Ain't Nothing Wrong With That Here's some irony. I never knew this performance existed until a few days ago! I mean, I think I did hear it a while back when doing the 2006-2012 ranking list (But that was in early July 2016, and I haven't heard it since), but upon rehearing it, OH MY GOSH, THIS COVER IS AMAZING! CEC has done a few "Rock 'n Roll" songs in their time (Heck, I love the "Rock 'n Roll All Night' cover in the January 2014 Show), but THIS! Oh my goodness, this song is INCREDIBLE! I haven't been blown away by a song for a long time, but when I heard this a few days ago, I was ENTIRELY BLOWN AWAY! This has got to be the best cover of a Rock song CEC has ever done, and I mean that! It is memorable, and extremely catchy, and is such an awesome performance! I LOVE the Rock n' Roll music in this song, and Annagrey, as well as the other VAs do a MARVELOUS job singing backup to Duncan (Who also does a great job in this cover), but it's really Annagrey's Helen that sticks out in this song, really delivering a strong chorus. I LOVE this cover, and this is one of the greatest covers CEC has ever done! 10. I'm So Excited I applauded this song in my 1991-1994 ranking list, and rightfully so! This song is INCREDIBLE! This is one of the most solid, greatest covers (Or in that matter, songs), in CEC's HISTORY! All throughout the entire song, I love every bit of it. It is such a powerful performance, and the entire game does a fantastic, beyond marvelous job! I love every bit of this song, and that's saying something. I feel as if Charles' Jasper is what really makes this song special, but Annagrey's Helen does a just as incredible, beyond amazing job as Charles does. This one of the best covers ever done in CEC history! 9. CEC Chuck E Cheese What a wonderful original! The greatest original I have ever witnessed CEC produce! (Yeah, it's either parodies, or covers higher on the list, spoiler alert) I LOVE this song! But what I love about it, is how UNIQUE it is! I've never seen any other CEC songs (Or for that matter, any songs) quite like this one. This song has such a complex, unique medley, and music to back up the characters, that it really makes this the greatest original ever produced by CEC. The music is so awesome in this song, I LOVE how unique it is, compared to all other songs! Even then, the character performances are really good in this song, and this song is an EXTREMELY CATCHY song! This song is so memorable, catchy, unique, and amazing, and I truly find it to be the greatest original ever done in a CEC show. 8. Hour Glass Oh my gosh, Hour Glass! CEC Chuck E Cheese has outstanding music, which really makes it the greatest original in CEC history, and one of the greatest CEC songs in history. This song, oh, this song. I LOVE the music in this song! Like CEC Chuck E Cheese, the music is very unique in this song, compared to other songs, and I love the music! The music really helps out this song to be honest, and really helps make it such a strong, and wonderful, memorable song! Duncan does a good job singing lead in this song, but the music is where this song is at! This song is so memorable, and awesome. I really love this cover! 7. In a Big Country What a fantastic, wonderful song. I LOVE this song! Everything about it is perfect! I love every bit of this song! The music is awesome, especially the percussion of it, and the performance from the characters, oh my gosh, the performances! Duncan does a great job performing as Chuck in this song, but when the other characters join in, singing with him, that's when the magic truly happens in this song, and I really appreciate it, for what it's worth. It is such an incredible, memorable performance, and I love everything about it! It is one of the greatest songs in CEC history! 6. Pizza Oven [2012 Version] Out of all the Munch focused songs, this one is my favorite! I LOVE this song! It is a very well written parody, it has awesome piano music, and John does an amazing job singing as Munch in this song! I love this song so much! It is extremely memorable, and catchy, especially the chorus, is a very well written parody, and contains awesome traditional piano sounding music! I really love this song a lot, and I consider this to be the best CEC parody in existence! 5. Word Up This is SUCH A FANTASTIC COVER!!! I LOVE THIS COVER!!! It is such an amazing cover! I love the music to it, Duncan does one of his greatest performances as Chuck in this song, especially putting effort into doing the voice of a character, who, at the same time is doing an impression of the artist who originally sang that song! Now, that's talented! The rest of the gang do an excellent, amazing job backing Chuck up! I feel as though Rob's Jasper is the one who really makes the backup performances awesome! All in all, this is a wonderful, amazing cover, and is one of the greatest covers in existence! 4. Good Vibrations [Marky Mark Version] I'm not the one to judge CEC shows/songs by my nostalgia, but this time, I'll make an exception. The last time I ever used the Wyomissing PA blue screen (The main thing which got me into becoming a regular visitor to CEC in the first place!), this song was playing. Since then, I've felt very connected with this song, and even then, I still find this to be one of the greatest performances in CEC's history! I LOVE THIS SONG! Regardless of my nostalgia, it is still an awesome quality song, that'll blow you away! The music in this song is just so incredible, from the traditional sounding piano, to the more hip-hop sounding piano, the music in this song is awesome! And to add onto the beyond amazing music, Annagrey does a FANTASTIC job singing lead in this song, providing such a strong performance in this song! Jaret livens things up with his lead as well, and John's deep little bits of singing as Munch really adds onto the song, making it all the more special! This is a FANTASTIC quality song, and I truly love it, nostalgia, or not. It's one of the greatest covers in CEC's existence! 3. For Once in My Life This is such a wonderful song. I LOVE this song! It is a truly fantastic duet between Duncan's Chuck, and Annagrey's Helen, and they both together do such a phenomenal job performing lead in this song! The music in this song is so wonderful, and to be honest, with the music, and all of the characters performing (Yes, even the characters were awesome when it came to singing backup) really sound like it's a performance from a professional show on Broadway! That may seem crazy, but that's what I here, and that's definitely a major compliment to a song performed for CECs. 2. Turn the Beat Around [1996 Version] Most likely Annagrey's greatest performance as Helen! Seriously, this song is 100% amazing, and is perfect in every way! I love this more than almost any other CEC song in existence! This song cover is a fantastic cover! What makes it so fantastic? The lively music really adds onto this song, making it feel like a true live performance, compared to the 2007 version, Annagrey does a MARVELOUS job singing lead in this song, and most of all, the characters singing backup. Something the 2007 version completely lacks, are the characters singing backup, and this version absolutely nails the performance, especially with Bob's OUTSTANDING job singing backup to Annagrey in this song! Seriously, his Jasper, and Pasqually really add onto the chorus, making this song all the more special, really making this one of my favorite songs of all time from CEC! This one of the most amazing covers that CEC has ever done, and is in total, the 2nd greatest CEC song ever produced. So what would be #1? Well, before we move onto #1, here are some honorable mentions! Holly Jolly Christmas Happy to be Seeing You Santa Claus is Comin' to Town [1992-1994 version] Little Red Corvette All For You Pepperoni Picnic [2003-2006; 2012 Version] Boogie Shoes And now, the Number 1 greatest, best, my favorite song from a CEC show is... 1. Everybody Wants to Rule the World [2009 Version] Kind of surprising, isn't it? I bet you never expected this to be #1, maybe some other song I praised in my past rankings. Nope, this song, is truly the greatest CEC cover in history! Remember how I mentioned in Overkill there are only a few songs I consider beautiful? This is one of them. This is hands down, the greatest cover ever done in CEC history. Everything about this song is beautiful. The special music, the wonderful singing from Duncan's Chuck, the outstanding performance from all of the characters together in chorus, everything. I love this song so much, and it's one of the few CEC songs that actually made me feel emotional at one point (Sure, it doesn't make me feel emotional now, but it did at one point), and it truly is the greatest song ever done in a CEC show. I truly believe that to be the case, as I love this song, and I find it to be the most beautiful, perfect song in CEC history. So there you have it, I've ranked every single CEC show in existence in each era, ranked the best and worst quality shows, ranked the years, and eras, and finally, the songs. Thank for joining me, as I finally complete this 7 month long project. In total, how many songs were from each era on this list? MMBB Era- 10 Testing Era- 1 Golden Age- 12 Modern Age- 22 Rockstar Era- 5 Music Video Era- 0 Edited by Studio Stage, Feb 5 2017, 07:14 PM.

Well, since the year's over, it's time to update the rankings. Let's check out Every Show From March 2015-November 2017 Ranked 20. Summer 2015 Show 19. March 2015 Show 18. April 2015 Show 17. Chucktober 2017 Show Yes, the Chucktober 2017 Show is indeed in the bottom 5 of this of the shows in the Music Video Era. I personally consider this show to be a huge disappointment, particularly since it's just the Chucktober 2016 Show, only with a song change. And to make matters worse, the song that was removed, Most Epic Mouse, was replaced by an inferior song, A Cowboy's Life For Me. Is this that bad of a show? Not as terrible as the previous 3 shows, but it is a much weaker variation of an already solid show. Nothing new is really brought to the table, except the inclusion of a shorter, weaker song, replacing one of the better songs from the Chucktober 2016 Show. Still, Billy & The Bully remains a great song, and I still find some enjoyment out of Trick or Treat. 16. Thanksgiving 2016 Show 15. Chucktober 2015 Show (Aka: Halloween 2015 Show) 14. March 2017 Show Bet you didn't expect this show to be so low on the list? The March 2017 Show definitely has it's faults. Though it does contain Keep Drummin', and All For Fun & Fun For All, two songs that are pretty good, the 2 other songs in this show really seem to make this show tank. Planet Purple Point of View is your average, stereotypical modern CEC original. The whole "Interruption style" (Which is essentially the type of CEC original in which Chuck interrupts the song to correct something one of the other band members does wrong, or says wrong). There's nothing really good about this song, it's not even Chris' best performance as Munch, in fact it's one of his weaker performances. I will give Dept. 18 credit for trying to give Munch a proper background, but I think this was one of the lamest songs released in 2017. It doesn't help that Rainy Day returns in this show, which remains one of my least favorite CEC songs from recent time. Overall, this show is a middle-in-the-road kind of deal, with some great material, and some weak material. 13. August 2015 Show 12. Chucktober 2016 Show (Aka: Halloween 2016 Show) 11. September 2016 Show 10. Summer 2017 Show The Summer 2017 Show was an equivalent to a "Best Of..." show, and unfortunately, it manages to be weaker than the June 2016 Show, a show which had pretty much the same style of song selection. The only difference between this show and the June 2016 Show is that the June Show managed to pick some older material which hasn't been seen in a long time. Granted, this show does include Friendship Never Ends, however pretty much everything else in this show was used in relatively recent time. Let's Have a Party returns for what feels like the billionth time, and I definitely wasn't amused seeing Gamin' Time make a comeback. Out of This World is expected to make a return, there's no reason it shouldn't make a comeback. Chuck E's Place is a great remake, so I wasn't too bothered when it was used right after it's debut in the 40th Anniversary Show. Overall, while this show does have some pretty good selections, there are definitely songs that I would've much rather be kept away from this show. 8. Thanksgiving 2017 Show The Thanksgiving 2017 Show is a massive step up from the Thanksgiving 2016 Show, this time containing a total of 6 songs, allowing for plenty more variety. This feels like a much better, more improved "Best Of..." show, with lots of great songs from over the past year or so. We get some character variety with the inclusion of Dream Big and Nobody Knows, and some callbacks to great songs that debuted in 2017 like Trio and If Everyone Were Chuck E. Overall, I feel as though this is one of the best "Collection" shows in a long time. 8. June 2016 Show 7. January 2017 Show The January 2017 Show was a great way to kick off CEC's 40th year. With the completely unexpected return of Together We've Got It, and the nice fan tributes in Remember That Time?, the January 2017 Show did a great job setting the mood for what was to come in the following months. Plus seeing the return of two fairly decent songs, Song Title, and Birthdays Are Special definitely makes this a really good Showtape. 6. January 2016 Show 5. April 2016 Show 4. March 2016 Show 3. Summer 2016 Show 2. 40th Anniversary Show (Aka: April 2017 Show) Of course this was going to make it above any of the 2016 Shows, the 40th Anniversary Show is a perfect tribute to any CEC fan out there. With the return of the awesome Together We've Got It remake, as well as a new Chuck E's Place Remake, paired up with the awesome new song, Trio, this makes for an excellent themed show. In fact, it's one of the best themed shows in years, it has tons of references, and lots of material that fans never would've expected to make a comeback in a modern CEC show. While Remember That Time? certainly isn't good the second time around, I can full-heartily say that this show is a true winner. And finally, the best show from March 2015-November 2017 is... September 2017 Show Yes the 40th Anniversary Show was awesome, but this is so much better. With a much more solid lineup, containing 3 new songs, along with a remake of the classic, Every Boy Every Girl, we get an awesome lineup of songs! All of the new songs are awesome, each one is one of the best songs released in years. It's the 70s! is a fantastic solo for Pasqually with great music, and hilarious lyrics, Another Chuck E. Day is a great treat, being a much more unique experience compared to just about any other CEC original out there, and If Everyone Were Chuck E not only contains great vocals from Munch and Jasper, but it also contains the return of everybody's favorite ferret-loving, Pepsi Max-drinking, Hippie, Steve Waters! The Every Boy Every Girl remake, while not as great as the 2007 version, still succeeds on it's own. Overall, the September 2017 Show is by far my favorite show in the Music Video Era so far! Before I make this thread inactive for another year, let's check in on the Holiday rankings. 11. Xmas 1991 Show 10. Chuck E’s Magical Holiday Celebration 9. Holiday 2015 Show 8. Holiday 2016 Show 7. Happy Holidays 2012-2013 6. Holiday 2017 Show 5. Holiday 2014 Show 4. Chuck E’s Holiday Party (Holiday 1999-2001; 2008-2010 Show) 3. Happy Holidays 2002-2007, 2011 2. Holiday Special 1992-1994 1. Happy Holidays 1998 See you next December! |

. There are other songs in the future that Jaret redoes that was originally performed by Duncan, and I think those are pretty good. But this showtape...
, its not that good of a showtape to be honest. It's alright, I admire the song selection, the performances just aren't as good as the original performances with Duncan.
), but still, this show is one of a kind. This is an awesome show!
. Whoever was in charge of putting this show together did a marvelous job, as they managed to take the very best of the previous Summer shows, and put it all into one, from Good Old Summer time, to BBQ, to Picnic, to Fun, Fun, Fun! I love this Summer show, and I believe this is the best Summer themed show CEC has ever compiled together.

). This is truly one of the best quality shows CEC has done both in this era, and in in general.
. So there you have it.
. (Also: Only the top 10 will have summaries)
. I highly recommend listening to it!
), and to this day, I still consider this the greatest CEC show in existence!
You bet there is!-
