Follow Me On My CEC Journey!
|
The idea of this thread came when I realized I had a lot of confessions of being a fan. I knew that a lot of things probably were relatable to other fans, and boom, a thread was born! The purpose of this thread is to peacefully share experiences or confessions that you would like to get off your chest of being a fan of CEC. This isn't a thread used to point fingers or try and get people into trouble. It's just for fun! You can add multiple confessions just make sure to number them. I'll go first: Confession #1: I once ate a chicken nugget off the floor due to a bet I made with my friends

In 1986 when I was 5 Mr. Munch took time out of his busy pizza eating schedule to visit us kids hanging around in the enclosed (netted) ball pit that PTT used to have. I rewarded his generosity by pelting him relentlessly with plastic balls just because it made me laugh. So I'm sorry, Mr. Munch! I hope we're cool now.

Only knowing of Studio C's as the sole stage of CEC from 2007-2010, I used to be annoyed by Chuck's friends in the television screens, thinking of their existence as annoying and pointless. Since they weren't in commercials, I thought they were pointless add-ons, and wished the show focused only on Chuck (Just what they intended in 1998). Luckily, I saw the additional characters in their animatronic form at the Whitehall PA location in 2011, thud making me realize their existence is justified. I'm also afraid of doing store tours after being told to stop one in Whitehall in December 2016. Why? Parents were concerned their children was being filmed by some stranger (A justified answer). If I ever do a new store tour, it'd have to be pretty empty to get me to do it. |

I feel ashamed to mention these confessions: Confession 1: While I was hanging out at the Mall of Abilene back in 2009, I was walking by CEC's when I noticed through the windows one of their CEC music videos playing on the tv monitors (Studio C Beta) which is pretty much normal, but it somehow went beyond normal (how I see it) once that one music started showing clips of Jasper & Chuck e from an angle you'd rarely expect them to be seen from (under their shoes). After viewing those clips while the video was playing, I somehow gained an ODD interest in mascot shoes. ![]() Confession 2: Just about a few month later when I was having lunch, (when they were playing another showtape) and when Avenger Chuck E came out and walked toward me and giving a hi-five, I regretfully asked him if I could see the underside of one of his shoes and, believe it or not, he did just that . I even touched & felt the bottom of his right shoe, feeling both excited and yet at the same time nervous because one of the workers might be watching. Luckily I left before things started to get weirder. Those are my confessions, and all I ask from everyone in this topic is to NEVER judge me or treat me differently because of these confessions and treat me the same way I was before I typed these confessions

That's fine, honestly. I was afraid to tell my Whitehall story, but you guys don't seem to mind it, as I don't mind your little story. Also, I once made a CEC creepypasta in January 2015 I used to be obsessed with CEC creepypastas around late 2014/early 2015. Yes, even that gross one with the children fingers. I was so intrigued with seeing a staple part of my childhood being twisted into horror stories. Same goes for a lot of other things at the time, I was fascinated in CEC related horror stories (Not pathetic ripoffs of Fnaf, more along the lines of original stories). The only thing I find really wrong with this is that people like to mix fact with fiction, hence why we had the Fnaf Noob attack in 2015-2016 (It's dead by this point, as no one really cares about Fnaf outside of it's fandom). |

I used to be so enthralled by the balcony stage animatronics that I would totally ignore my hot dog and chips. LOL! Like seriously, I'd let the hot dog get cold because I couldn't be bothered to stop looking at the show. haha |

One time while Chuck E. was coming out of his Chuck E. Room, he forgot his height and hit his ears off the door, turning the head backwards. Jojo had to help him turn his head back around before the kids saw. That Chuck E. was retarted. Little did that Chuck E. know that he would be posting this a few months later LOL... |

Confession: I didn't start eating pizza until 2010 when I was 17 I'm also not sure, but I may have had the hots for Helen Henny when I was a kid, but I'm not sure. The walkaround costume would always act so fashionable to the point I keep forgetting that Helen's a "girl" |

I've already posted this in another thread, but I cry thinking about Ingram & Matteson. Does anybody else cry because of what happened to them? |

When I was 3, a looong time ago, My mom took me to see Studio C Chuck E. I was so scared I screamed and you can hear my scream even from the bathroom. After that I ended up playing with the Interactive Console and dancing in front of the Blue Screen. Then when Chuck E. came out I screamed aswell. He then went away lol. And at another location I raised the Crash Cymbal and Hi Hat Cymbal so when Pasqually went to hit the Cymbal it made a Crashing noise. He still hits those same Cymbals today..... And when his foot goes down his Hi Hats clink together. Edited by CEC Illinois, Aug 29 2017, 11:45 PM.

Wow, I'm pretty sure they didn't think anyone would do that when they came up with the Kid Check rules! LOL! This is totally what would happen to me if I was ever "helping" Chuck E. LOL Edited by PaulKTF, Aug 30 2017, 03:24 AM.

Oh, it's common all right. My store has an actual doorway for Chuck to go through, and our performers are HUGE! Literally, 5'10-"6'2", myself being 6'1". Well, every single time, someone ALWAYS bumps their head on the doorframe #ChuckE'sEarsaretoobig

Confession 3: Here's an absolutely regretful confession, there really was a time where I actually didn't wanna go to CEC's and wanted to go somewhere else, it happened at one time while I was in Pre-K, and I was whining and crying about not wanting to go there that I was left alone in the car while my parents and twin brother & sister went inside. I then later felt ashamed for acting that way and decided to go in. That moment should never be worth revisiting again, if you ask me |
