Just because guests like 2.0 overall doesn't mean they'd be opposed to having animatronics - the animatronics weren't mentioned at all in the call aside from Tom briefly touching on the fact that the test stores removed them in response to a question. |

You're reaching. Guests don't care about the animatronics and the 2.0 concept doesn't have them. Guests probably barely pay attention to the video monitors when there isn't a live show anyway. Today's kids would much rather dance with Chuck E. than sit there and watch barley-working animatronics. Edited by PaulKTF, Nov 12 2017, 08:59 PM.

I'm sorry, but that is just not true. Everytime I go, I see guests watching the shows and enjoying the shows! People of all ages! I saw a grand dad watching the show with his grand kids and when the LIVE show came on, they stayed in their seats and kept looking at the animatronics. And it's not just them. Like I said, everytime I go to CEC I see more and more people watching the show! From children to adults. I hate that statement that guests don't care about the show, because they do. Plus, most of the walkaround performers are lazy and just throw out tickets and leave so I don't know how they're gonna get the performers to be better unless they higher their paycheck.

I'm not talking about corporate, I'm talking about the people who actually PAY |

Did they say when the remodeling will start so that fans can say their good-byes to our shows??? |

No. i don't think they'll announce that to the public except maybe on the conference call for whatever quarter they start doing them in and even then they'll probably only say "We're expanding the remodeling". I suggest you visit your favorite store as much as you can over the next year or so and just enjoy it.

*slight bump ish* Thought I'd add something involving the dance floors: Apparently they aren't very popular with the techs, there's been problems with the lights going out on the dance floor, sensors not working correctly, and sometimes the whole thing just freezing up and not working at all. If corporate can't get that problem with the dance floors fixed for relatively better, then I doubt they'll attempt to continue with the remodels when the dance floor is a tech's nightmare like the old bluescreen cameras were. |

I am pretty sure that Canaan told us that before you even knew about this. CEC Ent has come into his store to fix the wiring several times. Also CEC isn’t even saving shows for parts when they are taken down. They are literally destroying them. Orem, Arvada, Springfield and San Antonio Military were all destroyed for good. They weren’t even sent back for parts, all corp did was come in and destroy them. The same thing is going to happen with Wilmington, DE next week. This just isn’t fair. It all comes down to saving money and saving time. Apparently it's quicker and cheaper to just destroy the shows instead of parting them out to other stores. |
