Random Munch Fan Girl

It was a nice, sunny morning as Crusty was planning his revenge on Munch at the park, his idea being to break them up so Munch could see what it's like to be rejected, left and abandoned. I only need to try and sabotage their dates - like the one they're having today - and if I do them right, I succeed! He thought before snickering to himself, But from what I've heard about 'em, they're gonna be pretty hard to break up! And instead of getting April to break up with Munch, I should try to get them both to end the relationship with each other. Since April doesn't seem to care much about me and cares more about that purple furball... After thinking this, Crusty quickly hid under a bush as he heard two voices coming towards him, and they sounded oddly familiar... Perfect timing... Crusty then thought with a smirk, A little early, but perfect timing! “Munch, why did I have to carry the picnic basket?” He heard April ask as he moved some of the brush away in order to see what was going on while still keeping himself cloaked, seeing April struggling to continue holding the picnic basket without dropping it, “You know I can't carry all this heavy food!” “Well I just figured it'd be...good for you!” Munch explained, now looking at her, “You know, it's not good to just eat a lot without some form of exercise...” “Yeah, like you should talk...” April muttered, just enough for both Crusty and Munch to hear her, unaware that Crusty was even there. Ohhh, burn! Crusty thought, snickering quietly to himself, She really told him! “Well I already get enough exercise!” Munch began to explain, “It's from my job!” “Munch, just standing at a keyboard all day and moving your hands and fingers over the keys is not exercise.” April told him, “Exercise involves movement, and before you say anything, it requires more movement than that.” “And it's hard work!” Munch added, “How else would playing the keys make me hungry?” “Uh, because you're a Munch...?” April replied, giving him a slightly confused look, “And you're almost always hungry!” Well that's true. Crusty thought, But it makes me wonder how his bandmates - heck, even April - deal with him. “Well you're my same species, so...” Munch began but didn't finish. “So what?” April asked, putting the picnic basket down as she reached their designated spot, which was on the grass by the picnic area with the tables. “So you're just like me.” Munch replied, pulling the blanket from the picnic basket, “I mean, we're the same type of monster, right?” “Yeah...?” April answered, looking at him as if he were weird, “But your appetite is still much bigger than mine.” “Good point.” Munch said after a quick second of thought. April rolled her eyes. As much as I hate to admit it... She thought, But it is true. But I can only eat like, half of an eleventh while Munch can eat a whole eleventh... So I guess it isn't that bad. As they began setting out the food, Munch heard a bush rustling but as he looked over, all he saw was a black blur shooting up the trunk of a tree, April seeing it as well. “But back to the talk we were having before you brought our species up...” April began, now going back to setting the food out like they were before the rustling noise was heard, “I don't think it's fair that I - being a girl - have to do everything for you.” “What!?” Munch asked, looking at her shocked, “April, it's not like that! I don't make you do everything!” “Yeah but you're making me hold a heavy picnic basket!” April retorted, trying to get her point across, “And you're saying it's exercise?” “Look April...” Munch began, “The truth is, I... I want to avoid eating - or snacking on - whatever's in the basket, okay?” “Well you could've just told me that.” April mentioned, “You know, instead of just coming up with that excuse about exercise.” “Yeah I know...” Munch said, looking down as both he and April finished putting the food on the picnic blanket, “I'm sorry April.” “It's okay Munch.” April told him with a smile, “Let's just enjoy our lunch now, and our time together.” Munch smiled and nodded in agreement. Well that ended quickly. Crusty thought, still watching them but from the tree he climbed up in, I was literally expecting it to escalate. “I see you brought my favorites.” Munch said with a smile as he pulled out a pizza box before opening it and revealing the pizza inside, “Well, pizza is my only favorite.” “Didn't you once mention that salad is one of your favorites in a show before?” April asked, looking at him confused. “I don't remember, but all I can remember is I love pizza!” Munch replied to her question. How do you not remember your other favorite foods? April thought confused before shrugging, But oh well! As they began to eat, Crusty wondered how he was going to break them up if he wasn't going to be able to sneak their food. |
