It's mostly financial results covering that quarter. I'll reply in this thread if there's any interesting news. |

Yeah, maybe an update on how 2.0 is doing. It's been a good while since it was first enforced. Who knows, maybe we won't hear any news on it until it's been around for a year |

I am interested to see which locations could be closing. I heard that they are looking to close quite a few. |

I wouldn't be surprised to see a number of locations closing in the next few years- under performing stores, stores where the leases run out and the landlords want to jack up the rent, etc. |

There was a 2.0 update in the last conference call which said there wouldn't be much more of it until later this year, so I highly doubt there will be any news in regards to it in this call. Also, for the record, you don't usually share the specific locations that are to be closed in a conference call, investors don't care WHERE the stores are, they care about how many are closing and why they're closing. |

Lots of franchises in the US are starting to struggle, idk if corp is trying to jack up the prices on stuff for Us franchises but it is a rumor. I've heard several people say that as well as franchise employees. Edited by CECArizona, May 5 2018, 10:32 PM.

Corp says that my franchises are not worth buying. That is why stores like North Phoenix closed because it was still decent volume and had lots of staff laid off. The franchise owner simply closed it because it had an alpha which was too old for his standards and he wanted to build a new store without buying all new stuff. Corp could have still saved the store and reopen it with their own material. I guess the buying thing will work for some US franchises but some are just too hard to reopen like Arizona's situation with their 43 company owned PPPs.[/quote]It also sucks because once we lose a store for a certain period of time. The area easily adjusts to whatever PPP is nearby and doesn't end up needing a CEC again. I wish corp could just open one more CEC here. Even if it's 2.0... if applo ever spins off or sells chuck e cheese away from ppp it would be interesting to see if the new owners even want to have stores where PPP dominates Edited by Cyberhawk, May 5 2018, 11:00 PM.

Notes from the 2018 1st Quarter conference call: An additional 25 remodels will happen and complete by the end of 1st Quarter 2019. They didn’t mention which locations would be remodeled so I guess that’s going to be a surprise. Unlimited Play in test locations is going very well and has been expanded to 26 locations. Some new large attractions have been tested as have the dance floors that we all know about. New “Super stuffed sticks” (stuffed breadsticks I think?) are coming in Quarter 4 of this year.
