https://www.prnewswire.com/news-releases/chuck-e-cheeses-delivers-its-famous-pizza-to-homes-nationwide-300652419.html Would anyone really want to get CEC's pizza delivered when there are so many other better options for home delivery (including local places)? Unless they're also delivering a Studio C Alpha and a Skei-Ball machine with my pizza, I'm not really interested.

As much as I enjoy CEC's food, this is going to be a failure. No one goes to CEC for the food, that's really the honest truth, it's all about the games and prizes. I don't know anyone who would ever want to CEC Pizza over something like Domino's or Pizza Hut. This is going to be a very brief run. Honestly, who proposed such a ridiculous idea? I get the company is trying to bring in adults, but this isn't gonna make a dent in their profits. |

Unless they have Chuck brining the pizza straight to my doot personally, I'm not interested. Besides, what's the point in being delivered a CEC pizza? Like said above, understandable they are trying to reach bigger demographics but the entire CEC experience practically revolves around the games. I don't see this working out. |

Apparently, they are testing it at Phoenix but that won't work well as our CEC's reputation for pizza was squashed in the 2000's. Edited by CECArizona, May 25 2018, 09:24 PM.

My sort of local CEC is doing Delivery as well. That article mentions you get a free Plushie and a goody bag with every delivery order. So, that's really the only good thing that comes with home delivery, if your's in to that stuff that is. Honestly, I find it ironic since in this Stranger Things Parody, https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Mc7TFavAZe4 Chuck E. Says: "And Since When Do We Deliver?" and now CEC is actually doing delivery. There's plenty of people who will gladly go to CEC just for the food, myself included? Would love to see a legitimate basis for your claim. Not to mention, the delivery system is done through Uber, so it's not really going to negatively affect much if not many people request delivery. Edited by Jack, May 26 2018, 01:20 PM.

Yeah, I shouldn't have said no one. A decent amount of people do particularly enjoy CEC's food, but I'd never imagine someone ordering it, particularly families, the main audience CECE caters towards. |

If I went to CEC today I would probably like the pizza (and it's bound to be better than it was 20+ years ago). I still wouldn't get it for takeout or delivery because there are really fantastic local options here that would be much better. |

The Door Dash orders are always kind of annoying for us to handle. It takes an hour for the order to process, then an additional 15 minutes for the pizza to be cooked. My manager even joked about how unreliable the service is in general.

Indeed, there are two things that keep me going to CEC: The bots, and the Cali Alfredo. Thin crust. No sausage. Extra lip on the crust with the garlic butter baked in first instead of brushed on after. I've ordered it that way for so long that the staff at Greensboro just punch it in without me telling them when they see me walking up. I enjoy the Cali over anything a standard Domino's or Pizza Hut pizza actually. Whenever Greensboro does get rid of their show, I'd probably still pop in for a Cali. |

It might not affect the uber deliveries, but you've gotta consider the kitchen. They have to make that plus the regular, in store orders. It's gonna pile up, because it already does. |

I shouldn't have used the term "No one", that is a little extreme. However, I just don't see the company making that much profit off this concept. You said you only go to CEC for food, but would you ever pay to have it delivered to your house? |

I would go to CEC for the show. I would go to CEC for the games. I might have pizza while I'm there and enjoy it, but why would I get CEC's pizza delivered when I have plenty of local and national pizza options that are better and won't cost me any more (and might cost less)? |

Jack, why must you always counter with an ignorant remark towards someone, especially when their opinion differs from that of your own? Personally, I wouldn't be surprised if this home delivery system fails. CEC Entertainment is doing everything in its power to distance itself from how the company was in the Late 70's and Early 80's. If you think about it, if people order their pizza from home, then they're not going to the stores. Now, by not venturing to the stores, wouldn't that cause a decrease in overall foot traffic and game revenue? Edited by PizzaTimePerfecto, Jun 5 2018, 11:46 AM.

The problem with this delivery idea is that kids do not decide what pizza is delivered. Parents do. And no parent is going to decide on CEC pizza over some place else. |
