https://bit.ly/2sl5Xfg it looks like a minor 2.0 remodel if the pictures are all from the same location

I was there Yesterday. I can CONFIRM that this location does NOT have a LIVE Stage. What you saw in the pics were an interactive game being tested at that location. |

Possibly. Reminds me of the early Phase 4 remodels, where they kept the Phase 3 posters. Wonder if it's because the store has a Studio C, or if they just couldn't afford a major remodel at this time, but was in need of an update? How is Garland's Beta anyway, is it in good shape, or not? |

It can't be because of the Studio C, a location that had Studio C got 2.0 and stage got trashed. |

Okay, than it's most likely the latter, it's possible CECE is testing "Mini remodels" (In which a location remodels to 2.0, but the change isn't as expensive nor drastic). Whether this theory is correct or not, it's definitely a good sign, I'll tell you that. |

This happened months ago guys. I think if it were leading to anything drastic then it would've happened by now. Keep in mind that just a year ago they were updating Phase 3 stores to Phase 5 exteriors while keeping the interiors Phase 3. |

Garland is getting Dance Floor soon so their 2.0 isn't complete yet. Garland's Beta will go bye bye. Minor remodels are something of the past now.

There hasn't been a transfer of a Studio C bot in a few years, I doubt the likelihood of that is very great

Actually, Brownsville got Stone Oak's bot back in July of last year because their bot was in horrible shape. Also CEC needs to accelerate the remodels faster as well. Target has acceletrated their remodels back in October to more than 300 stores a year until 2020. CEC should of done a wave of Closures and remodels all together (Posibly 100 remodels and around 10-25 per year to expand it to all states that have a CEC except AZ untll 2023-2025). North and South Carolina will lose all their shows to closures with the next few years. CEC wants to opt out of the NC/SC market all together because places like Jungle Rapids (Wilmington NC) and many more that want to squish CEC's Reputation for everything they have. NC and SC ar enevr getting CEC back. They'll probably relocate their most sucessful stores to GA or VA. It could be likely Anchorage (Opened in 1983) and Wilmington (Opened in 1984) will get the axe for closure possibly as a emergency. Possibly CEC putting ina standard where the Dance Floor will be snuck into a new Game package for free "Free Dance Floor Cto replace your show if your store doesn't have one". All this are not happening for a while. I think all this 2.0 stuff should be mandatory. NO minor changes are allowed and let CEC move foward to target the new parents (My Parents would HATE it). This is my prediction. Edited by RPCEC, May 30 2018, 05:38 PM.

The Studio C bots are all roughly 15-20 years old by now and just like all the other shows they're getting harder to maintain and are wearing out. Man, I can't believe even Studio C is getting so old! I remember when Studio C Alpha was just rolling out! |

which means that they aren't "wearing out and getting harder to maintain". by the way remember they're probably testing what would happen if they kept the stage, guys. i doubt it'll go over well, probably won't be as successful as the live stage stores, so this isn't really any "glimmer of hope". Does an active interactive game look like the live dance stage to you? Edited by Mr. Ruxpin, May 30 2018, 10:06 PM.

It's better to rip out the show and destroy it than to keep it going because they're getting old :(. 2.0 is the only way a CEC can stay alive. No 2.0 = Your Location Closes Permanently. 2.0 is mandatory not an option. Expect some stores like Wilmington, Wesleyan, Darien, Kedzie, FM1960, Pheniox, Poughkeepsie, Newington CT (1991), Arlington, and White Settlement shut their doors between 2018-2023 be cause they're all built before 1990 exceptNl Newington which could go downhill in a few years and close. CEC could very well end Franchising and open their own international stores and remodel the existing ones all at the same time. They want all CECs to look the same. |

Some older stores will continue to get 2.0 but the majority of them won't. Most of them are in bad areas. Back in the 80's when Phoenix was an SPP, it was a great area but in the 2000's, it went downhill. Some older locations are still in good areas but the majority aren't. CEC doesn't want their reputation ruined for fights anymore. |
