How to fill the application: Spoiler: click to toggle Full name: Names can be real or fantasy like, reflecting the character's birthplace region or not. No one will be judgmental because of a name.
Age: Human lifespan is the same as RL. Mythos have the same lifespan as humans. Aes Sídhe can live about 600 years. The first Golem was invented in the year 1953. When listing the age of your Acmonian, it's mandatory that you add how many year he/she has lived in Physical Plane (up to 60 years), but you can also add the time they were in the Ethereal Plane (200 years). Natura can live up to 3000 years. Dracula, the first of the Vladescus would have, now days, 536 years, so keep that in mind. Ge can live about 10000 years. Gender: Skip this section if your character is Natura Height: Check race's description for an idea of their height. Weight: Keep in mind that the Ge are REALLY heavy Birthday: Refer to the age section for more info and remember that the RP starts at December 22nd, 2012. Bithplace: You can choose any place in the world, except for Atlantis and Britannia. If you want a British character, please refer to me first. Starting Location: Same as above. Race: When listing the Natura race, also list the sub-race, such as Natura/Pietra. Same goes for Vladescus, listing the race the char originally was before being inflicted by the curse. Appearance: Feel free to add an image. If you don't, try to keep the description as detailed as possible. Also describe the appearance of the Natura's Natural Body. Background: Do not conflict with the RP's setting. Personality: Be detailed. Anima Arcana: List here the gemstone your char's Anima Arcana is when in physical form, such as emerald, diamond, etc. if your char is a Forgotten or Golem, skip this section. Arcanus: List here the Arcanus's name, its "gender", appearance and personality. Hobbies: Self explanatory Likes: Self explanatory Dislikes: Self explanatory Motto: Self explanatory Money: The amount of money your char starts with in his/her "bank account". List the currency as UIC. Favorite Weapon: This does not mean your character will be forced to use only this type of weapon, but this will be the one he will be most used and best with. Common weapons in Terra Arcana include swords, axes, guns, wands, staves, poles, gunblades, electrical whips, batons, etc. Weapons are very technologically advanced. Forgotten Ability: All Forgotten start with the Eye of Knowledge and you can also give them another ability (or not, if you choose so). If you char is not a Forgotten, skip this section. Elemental Proficiency: This define which element our char will be best at, thus making spells of this element easier to learn and less tiresome to cast. A character with Sky Proficiency will have more Sky spells than any other kind. Remember that Acmonian already start with Proficiency at Spirit and Vladescu at Night, these races then, cane have two Proficiency. This does not represent elemental resistance. Skip this section if your char is Natura or Forgotten. Trait Proficiency: This define which trait our char will be best at, thus making spells of this element easier to learn and less tiresome to cast. A character with Construction Proficiency will have more Construction spells than any other kind. Skip this section if your char is a Forgotten. Elemental Deficiency: The opposite of Elemental Proficiency. Vladescus area naturally Deficient in Day element, therefore they'll have two Elemental Deficiencies. This does not represent elemental weakness. Skip this section if your char is Natura or Forgotten. Trait Deficiency: The opposite of Trait Proficiency. Vladescus area naturally Deficient in Thaumaturgy, but cannot have any other Trait deficiency. Skip this section if your char is a Forgotten. Starting Spells: Each character starts with two spells or technomagic. List them here, adding their element, trait and a description of what they do. Spells are unique for each character so be creative.~ If you char is a Forgotten, skip this section. Remember that Natura can only have spells related to their element. Soul Siblings: Each character can have two Soul Siblings. It's a mutual thing, so if char X is Soul Sibling to char Y, char Y has to be Soul Sibling of char X. Therefore, speak to the owner of the character before adding it a Soul Sibling. |

Please, ready the Omnipedia too. Terminology Part 1 TERMINOLOGY Terra Arcana
The Earth that has regained magic. It was born when Terra Priscus (Old Earth) and Stratum Magi (Plane of Magic) merged in one during the Day of Restoration. Magic flew back in time and re-wrote history, so that it would be like Magic never left in the first place. With magic and technology developing side-by-side, the world become quite technologically advanced, with airships, huge metropolis, advanced weaponry, etc. Architecture is a mix of modern, medieval and futuristic architecture. Magic also altered the landscape, flora and fauna of the world, such as the the existence of the floating continent of Ganedhen in the skies of the Pacific Ocean, the existence of huge forests with trees made of living stone, cities of built over floating stones with gardens of glowing flowers such as Chernobyl and monster such as dragons, giant wolfs, etc. A huge part of the world is under the domain of the United Kingdom of Magician Britannia, which rules over any magical affair. While politically each country may be independent and rule over its own affairs, even fighting with other countries that are under the Britannia flag, magically, they are all loyal to the Monarchy of Magic, which means they all obey the rules of magic imposed by them, such as the prohibition of trying to use magic to achieve immortality, time travel or create edible food. Because affairs of magic also affect politics, to an extent, Britannia does have some political control over the other region. In each region of the world under the UK's domain, there is a Polis, a city under the direct political control of the Ministry of England, from which Britannia exert its influences over said region. They are: Britannia = London (England) Western Europe = Lisbon (Portugal) Eastern Europe = Berlin (Germany) Tsardom of Russia + Slavic countries that borders it = Moscow (Russia) North America = New York (USA) Central América = Panama City (Panama) South America = São Paulo (Brazil) Nothern Africa = Cairo (Egypt) Southern Africa = Johannesburg (South Africa) Asia = Tokyo (Japan) Ganedhen = Aeolia (Island of Aeolia) Southeast Asia and Oceania = Sidney (Australia) There are regions of the globe that go directly against UK, such as China, North Korea, a major part of the Middle East and Atlantis. Éire (Ireland) has a neutral relationship with Britannia. Antarctica was never colonized because, for some unknown reason, Magic does not work in there. Children tales tell that this is the doing of the Goddess because she has fondness of penguins. Ganedhen Ganedhen is floating continent that existed in Stratum Magi and, after the worlds merged, it now exists floating above the Pacific Ocean of Terra Arcana. It's the home of the Natura race and due to it`s flying nature, it never had a human stepping on its soil before the Age of Discovery (XV century), but despite that, Ganedhen could develop a technology more advanced than that of the lower world and one that coexists in harmony with nature. It's in Ganedhen that most Natura's Natural Body is located, and it offer a great protection to them, being isolated from the rest of the world. Ganedhen always took an indifferent position towards the lower world's events, with the people that inhabit it never meddling in the affairs of below. Ganedhen went through both World Wars and the Cold War without taking sides nor going to battle. It's only recently that they officially joined the United Kingdom of Magician Britannia and began to suffer more influences from the lower world. Despite that, the people of Ganedhen always worshiped the Goddess and her Avatar. Ganedhen is divided in fief, each possessing a majority of a type of Natura, however they are not fief as the ones from feudal Europe. Its government is a Gerontocracy, a form of government where the elders rule. The leader is chose among the elderly Natura and she will rule over a fee. She can then can name people of her own choice to rule over regions within the fee. In the middle of continent lies the isolated Island of Aeolia, which has a Polis in it with the same name. The Polis of Aeolia is ruled by a Council of 8 Natura, each of a different element, chosen among the leaders of the fief (obviously, the lose control of the fee they commanded). Ordina is the fee of eternal daytime, located in South Lemuria. Its capital, Roria is a huge vertical city (a tower), and on top of it lies a crystal that emanates a light that shines all over the fee and never goes out. Notable cities: Yujia - located at the edge of the continent, in the closest point to North Lemuria, and in it lies a huge bridge that connects the two landmasses. Araga - Located in the Triple Horn, the closest point between Aeolia, South Lemuria and Mu. It's a trading city as it has bridges connecting the three landmasses and many caravans go through it. It's the richest city of Ordina.
Located in North Lemuria, this fee is famous for its phosphorescent nature and stones, that glow bright during the night. Yotoria is its capital, a solar powered industrial city which provides technology to all of Ganedhen. Notable cities: Pralia - A fortress city to located on extreme West. It was used to defend Almerer from attacks of Mu, back when Ganedhen was an unstable continent and the fief fought each other. Night
The polar opposite of Ordina, Maeldaen is also located in South Lemuria and it's a land of eternal darkness. Ioria is its capital and it has a machine that generates a field around Maeldaen that prevents sunlight from passing through. Notable cities: Trispar - A city located north of Ioria. In it lies the School of Natural Magic, the best school at teaching nature based magic (spells that use the 8 elements of the Natura and focus on natural things, such as creating hurricanes, lightnings, wildfires, instead of things like magical teddy bears of made of rock that throws crystal blades) for Natura and non-Natura.
Braenica is a continuation Gobain's unusual rocky formation, located in East of Mu. It's deep canyon, a complex formation of caves, gorges, ravines and canyons that create a natural structure is 95% under the shades through most of the day. The soil above the plateau above the canyon is mostly covered by Erebuscite, a special crystal made of pure Night magic, therefore the sunlight is dimmed so even at noon it's like a twilight Sun. Brae is its capital and it's located in the deepest region of Braenica, in a place that has never felt the warmth of the Sun and rich in Erebuscite. It's said that Brae is built above a dragon's nest and the city seals its entrance. Notable cities: Erebia - The only city located in the plateau, it's a Erebuscite mining town. Currently, it's inhabited mostly by immigrant Ge, Humans and Mythos, with the Umbra being a minority. Kireg - Located in the north of Braenic, inside a narrow ravine, this city was ravaged by a war and became a ghost town said to be cursed. However, it's now returning to be a lively town when the discovery of ancient archaeological artifacts were found in the city, including books about long forgotten magic and rare Tomes. But the fear of a curse still causes tension in its inhabitants Sun
A great desert that occupies the entire central and north region of North Lemuria. But unlike other deserts, Aldari is hot day and night, with the temperature always around the 50°C. Aldari is a dangerous place for all non-Ignis Fatuus, and a water magic can save lives here. Aldari is known for its periodical Firefly Storm, a sandstorm when the sand is so hot that it burns upon contact. Its capital is Hiroq, built over the largest oasis and it ships water to most villages of Aldari. Ryar - A city built on the Northeast of Aldari, in a region known as the Firefly Nest, a place which has Firefly Storms at least three times per month. The city is inhabited by scientists who studied the phenomena. Zaahji - A town built under the dunes, protected from the heat of the desert by it. It's the largest Sandfish farming town.
Ocean
The Glacial Ocean, Nari is a fee located in the northmost of Mu. It's a huge lake that goes all the way to the border of Ganedhen, and all that prevents it from flow out to the world bellow is a magically created ice barrier that never melts called the Dam. Nari is filled with icebergs, ice plates and islands made of earth or rock. Its capital Li, a city built inside a huge excavated iceberg. One of the largest Glacial Hearts, the magical ice stones that keep the Dam from melting, is located in Li. Notable cities: Tolray - Built on the Dam it's was once a fortress, but now Tolray is a port city, with ships that travel through all of Nari and Airships that fly all over Ganedhen and the world. Halteria - Located on the south, at the border, Halteis the port city connect the land with the Glacial Ocean. The road that travels all over Mu up to starts here. Lalduria - A underwater city built inside a bubble of ice. It has an elevator that goes all the way to the surface, in an apparent fishermen floating village. Lalduia's house are made of coral reefs. The city is actually a military academy that trains Natura from all over Ganedhen to defend the continent.
Alquari is a land of beautiful rivers, lakes and waterfalls that go all the way to the edge of Ganedhen. It's located at South Lemuria. Because of the great amount of water, magic and Ondine's Natural Bodies, it rains almost all year round over Alquari. Everything is covered in moss and hydrophilic plants. It's fauna is mostly amphibia and fish. There are many swamps in Alquaria, but it also has mountain regions with waterfalls. Its capital is Myagi, the city of geysers and hot streams. Myagi also houses the largest hydroelectric plant of the world, powering all South Lemuria. Because of this, there are a lot of Voltas that inhabit Myagi. Notable cities: Namaveria - A fishing city north of Myagi. It's located in Namave, the largest river of Ganedhen. It exports the delicious and rare fishes from Namave to the whole world. It's also a tourist town with great restaurants and water parks. A dense mist covers the lake all year round. Vaila - Located near the borders with Ondina. It's build floating above a lake of a cenote and it's famous for its Aquacite mines. The cenote has many caves from which comes underground rivers. The mines are located in these rivers and the city has grown so much to actually have parts of it inside the caves. Sky
A small island floating northwest of Mu, Salvelive is a land of windmills. Strong winds blow across the grassy fields and farms that cover the entire land which power the windmills used as power source or in the grinding of grains. The region is one of the world's largest exporter of flour. Jofir is it's capital, a airport city and known as the City of Weather Vanes. The city is a developer and exporter of fast airship models. Notable cities: Salvelive has no notable cities.
The Hurricanes Archipelago, Yie is also the name of the main and largest island. This place is famous for having hurricanes weekly and through all its territories. The soil is rich in Aerocite, which could be the reason behind the cyclones. It's capital is Kadia, a city which is protected by a eternal hurricane. Notable cities: Laria - Built inside an interesting rocky formation, Laria is a city that draws musicians from all over the world. The wind blows through roles inside the rocks of the city, creating notes that together form countless unique symphonies. Storm
Iona is located in the west side of South Lemuria. It's soil has a abnormal amount of metals and Eletricite, which makes the soil charged with electricity which may sometimes discharges itself. Because of that, all cities and roads are isolated against the electricity from the ground. The fauna and flora of Iona has evolved itself to take advantage of the electricity so they are natural batteries, meaning that every being in Iona has affinity to the Storm element. Gardan is the capital of this fee, and it's home to one of the largest magical power cell factories of the world. Notable cities: Uriens - This city is famous for being home of a powerful all-Natura Proelium team, the Elemental Gladiators. It also houses one of the most advanced Proelium stadiums of the world.
Because of its close proximity to Alquari, Xasie is also under a near endless rain. But unlike Alquaria, Xasie is plagued not just by rain, but by thunderstorms all year round. Because of that, Xasie has many towers with lightning rods. Its capital, Zara, is locate don the edge of Xasie, and it's the city with the largest tower. In there, many scientists study a way to store the energy from the lightnings. Notable cities: Xasie has no notable cities. Forest
Tindharia is a tropical forest located in the center of South Lemuria, it's there that is located the spring of most rivers in Alquari. Its trees are ancient and have reached enormous sizes, with trees taller than the Burj Khalifa. Towns and villages are usually build in the trunks and crowns of the trees, to avoid the gigantic and dangerous ground wildlife that can reach the size of castles. Its capital is Parsley, a city built inside the largest tree of Tindharia. Parsley is the only city in the world who produces and sells the Parsley Sap, a powerful multi-use reagent used in the production of powerful medicines, alchemy and spellcrafting. Notable cities: Lejarye - One of the few cities located on the ground of the forest, this city is famous for breeding and training Floral Behemoths and selling them to Britannia's military. Senleria - This city is the largest city built in a Goldberry Tree and it is the world's largest Goldberry exporter. Goldberry is a fruit that resembles a golden grape, but each grape has the size of a watermelon. It's a delicacy consumed all around the world.
Prisel is located in a "peninsula" in the Northwest of Mu. This fee is nicknamed "Flowerbed Horn" because of the peninsula's shape and the amount of flowers that grow in Prisel. Unlike Tindharia, which is a dense forest of gigantic proportions, Prisel is a grove of regular-sized tree through most of the territory, with the undergrowth being entirely of flowers, with over a million species of flowers, and many still to be cataloged. These flowerbeds cover the entirety of Prisel, including the regions without trees. Its capital is Shelar, the City in the Ocean of Flowers, a city whose builds shaped like hills were consumed by the flowers, giving the impression of being waves in a ocean of flowers. Notable cities: Hivelia - A beekeeping town which produces a delicious and unique honey with powerful healing proprieties. Mountain
Gobain is a rocky region located on Mu. It's soil is covered by rocks varying from the size of pebbles to of huge mesas, which come in various shapes such as round to sharp and pointy. Gobain's soil is rich in Gaiacite, also known as living rocks, which explains the amount and size of rocks in the area. It's captial is Kalsasi, built above a complex arrangement of bluffs of various sizes. These bluffs have Gaiacite cores and for that they grow a few centimeters every year. Notable cities: Caturmaryada - A city located in the frontier between Gobain, Prisel, Nari and Braenica.
Dorceil is a tall mountain range surrounding the entirety of North Lemuria's south and east, acting as a natural barrier to contain wars between North and South Lemuria's fief. Because of it's strategic position, Dorceil acts as a checkpoint for most of the commerce between both Lemurias, giving the fee a great economy based on charging tolls, for even airships must pass close to it due to its high altitudes. Inside the many mountains, there are a complex network of caves and tunnels with most cities in this fee located inside them. Dorceil is also rich in precious ores, making it the richest fee in all Ganedhen. Its capital is Naruat, a city carved on the tallest mountain bearing the same name. Naruat covers the entire outside of the mountain and its cave networks, going from the summit to the heart of the mountain deep underground. It's a mining town. Notable cities: Setu - A city in the southmost part of Dorceil, guardian of a great bridge connecting both Lemurias. Day of Restoration The day the Seal was broken and the Goddess returned to Earth. She brought magic back to to land and re-wrote history, so that it was like she never left. Earth and the Plane of Magic merged together that day. In the Terra Arcana corresponding date of the Day of Restoration, meteor showers, aurora borealis and australis painted the skies. Other than that, it was supposed to be a normal day, except the Queen Lizbeth would do a public speech about the future of the World, in special about the Forgotten and Acmonian races' future. But that day, she disappeared from the Palace. Dream of Reminiscence A dream that everyone that had a counterpart in the reality before the Day of Restoration have. In this dream, they remember their past life as a dream-like event. For the Forgotten, however, the past life returns very vividly. For races that didn't exist in the old worlds, the Dream never happens. The Dream may come to one at any time, and nothing defines when that will be, except for the Last Dream of Reminescence which took place in the Terra Arcana's corresponding date to the Day of Restoration. That night, everyone dreamt. Anima Arcana What makes the control over Magic possible, the Anima Arcana is a a gift that the Trinity Goddess bestowed upon her children. It is connected to the soul of an individual, and uses said soul to convert magic into spells. While the Anima Arcana does not naturally posses a physical form, sometimes, it can take one for the casting of really powerful spells. It materializes as a gemstone inside the person's chest, within the heart, but it can also appear outside the body. The only exceptions are the Anima Arcana of Natura, that are always in physical shape inside their Natural Body and the one of Vladescu, that is always in physical shape inside their heart. The Forgotten do not possess an Anima Arcana because they cannot use magic, and the Golems have a synthetic Anima Arcana that acts as their powercell and must be recharged. Arcanus A gift of the Goddess to every sentient being in Terra Arcana, everyone is born with an Arcanus, but he only reveals himself to the person at the age of 5. Arcani are familiar-like beings that act as a link between the individual and the Trinity Goddess. They are usually connected to the person's Anima Arcana, the exceptions being for the Forgotten and the Natura. Regardless of how they are connected, the Arcanus and individual (called Companion) share one mind, one soul and one feeling. That said, the Arcanus knows what the Companion is thinking and feeling, and vice-versa. The Arcanus and Companion are capable of communicating with each other, out-loud, mentally and even subconsciously, however one person is not able to see, hear or touch the Arcanus of another unless they have an Arcane Link. The Arcanus is the source of the person's power, specially magical, as the Arcanus will draw Magic from the Trinity Goddess to be used in spells and abilities. When that happens is the only moment the Arcanus is partially visible to everyone, as a visible aura of magical energy will form around it. The Arcanus cannot be more than 3 meters away from the Companion, and what the Arcanus sees and hear is limited to a field called Arcane Sense, which acts like a 6th sense of the Companion. An Arcanus can't see what is into a room that is not in the range of the Arcane Sense, neither see someone sneaking from behind if said being goes undetected to the Arcane Sense. Most people have a poor Arcane Sense, but some have trained theirs more sharp, because of that, they have Arcanus Guardians, which are Arcanus that can go beyond the 3 meters limitation, see things the Companion can't and even stay awake when the Companion is asleep. However, innate sharp Arcane Sense is really rare (1 out of fifth million people are born with it) and developing it with training takes years. The Arcanus's appearance reflects their companion's soul, personality and power. Someone that sees himself as a weak will have a small-sized and weak looking Arcanus, for example. If that person grows powerful and confident, the Arcanus will take a stronger appearance. There is no restriction of how an Arcanus can be, they can be humanoid, animals and even anthropomorphic objects, of any color, shape and size, based on real or imaginary things. Only thing is that the elemental proficiency of the companion is usually apparent at the Arcanus. Arcane Link A link shared between two people that are really close to each other, like lovers, parents and children, siblings. The Arcane Link is a link between two people's Arcani, which mean they can see and communicate with each other's Arcani. This is a strong bond, and it's not just about being able to see another's Arcanus. The Arcane Link also allows people to share thoughts, feelings, knowledge and even magic spells. While it's possible to exist unilateral Links, they are quite rare, with mutual Links being more common. Soul Siblings People that are born sharing an Arcane Link between each other, without even being related or close to each other. Some Soul Siblings die without even knowing each other, as they can be born in any place on Terra Arcana, miles apart from each other. This reason behind the existence of Soul Siblings is still unknown and very much researched. Money Each country has their own money, but a physical currency is rare. Instead, most of the world's money is in form of data, and people pay stuff directly from their bank accounts. When buying something, the money the person has is automatically converted to currency of the place the product is being sold. Checking for change is a thing of the past. The "data" money that is kept in accounts and used for is the Universal Information Currency (UIC), that can be accurately and instantly traded to any other form of currency during a purchase. Therefore, the UIC is de facto international transactions. It's actually a "upgraded" version of the US Dollar, so 1UIC = 1USD. Omniglass A multi-use microcomputer that is giving to everyone that lives in a land under the domain of the United Kingdom of Magician Britannia upon birth. It's a little crystal-like device that is magically inserted inside one's palm. It's almost imperceptible unless when being used. It has countless capabilities, but it's primary usage is to be an ID, universal translator and access to the owner's bank account (this last feature only activates when the owner reaches legal age). It can also have other features added, such as cellphone, GPS, portable, TV, e-book and many more... if the owner is willing to pay for these services. Some countries that are not under UK's flag also offer a free Omniglass to citizens or have them for sale, but they are usually of worst quality than the ones of UK. There are countries that forbid their use. The Omniglass works with the person opening the hand with the glass with the palm pointing up and doing so will cause the Omniglass to sprout from inside the skin, becoming like a pearl partially inserted in the palm. Mentally, he will order the Omniglass to start and an holographic image will come out of the Omniglass, revealing a menu with its features. It has a private mode where the hologram is projected directly into the person's retina, unseen to everyone else. Using as ID or credit card requires the person to touch the palm with the Omniglass inside the reading machine. The process of using a Omniglass is painless. Note: Every character of the RP must have a Omniglass from start, regardless of the place they are from. Glossolalia While each region of the world has their language, there is a universal magical language of Terra Arcana called Glossolalia. It is a mix of English and Latin, coming from the time the Roman Empire conquered almost the whole world, and them when England did the same. The Omniglass is capable of making anyone magically speak and understand Glossolalia (as long as they have learned another language before). Races Magi The humans. The ones called Magi are capable of using magic, but some are more proficient in it than others. They have a relatively short lifespan, with only the Acmonians having one shorter. Magi are the most numerous population in the world, having taken over all corners of Terra Arcana. Rare are the lands that are not controlled by the Magi. The proof of their power of domination is the United Kingdom of Magician Britannia, that has influences over 70% of the world. The Magi are the second greatest magic users, losing only to the Aes Sídhe. Forgotten The humans that cannot use magic. They are few in numbers compared to the Magi but also exist in all corners of the world. Their reason behind their existence that in the Day of Restoration not all humans were fully enveloped by the magic that returned to the Terra Priscus. Those who were not included in the magic became the Forgotten and unlike other humans (and races), who remember their lives in the reality before the Day of Restoration as merely a dream, they recall it as vivid as a memory from a few hours ago. Despite being unable to use magic for not having an Anima Arcana, they still have an Arcanus which is connected to their mind, and were gifted by the Goddess with the highest intellect and some skills that come from it, such as the Eye of Knowledge and Clairvoyance. There are some Forgotten who don't believe in Magic or that Terra Arcana is real, believing it to be the dream and not Terra Pricus, like others believe. These Forgottens founded the Church of Awakening, which desires to revert the world to a magic-less state. Most of the greatest scientists, inventors, thinkers and strategists were Forgotten, such as Albert Einstein, Nicola Tesla, Plato and Alexander, the Great. The future of the Forgotten race lies uncertain, because the corresponding date to the Day of Restoration at Terra Arcana has passed and it's unknown if more Forgotten will be born. They are immune to Psychic element. Aes Sídhe A fairy-like humanoid race, they are the most powerful spellcaster. They can live up to 600 years but never seem to physically age past young teen age, always having small height and slender body. They are always very beautiful for humans standards, they have the same skin tones as humans, metallic versions of any color from the visible spectrum for hair and eyes and natural markings in their skin that resemble tattoos and glow when they cast magic. Sometimes, it may be hard to tell apart from a male and female Aes Sídhe because of their young appearance, but there is one visible trait that is always different between genders, the wings. Male Aes Sídhe have three pairs of dragonfly-like wings while female have just one pair of butterfly-like wings. These wings permit high speed flight and come in many colors and patterns. They originated in Britannia, but are also very common in Continental Europe and North America. Mythos A race of zoomorphic beings. They live as much as humans do. There are many subspecies of Mythos, such as humanoid avian, humanoid wolves, minotaurs, centaurs, etc. Their name dates back from ancient times, where the interaction between humans and these races gave birth to myths and mythology, specially in Ancient Greece. While Mythos are not very proficient in Magic, they are very physically fit, being the strongest race after the Golems. They originated in Africa and are more common in there, but South Asia and Oceania has quite a few of them. Golems A race that did not exist in the realities before the Day of Restoration, the Golems are a machine race of robots, mechas and androids. They, however, are descendants from the traditional Golems of yore that where invented by Alexander the Great and made of stone. These Golems are a techonologicaly advanced version of those Golems and were developed during the Cold War. Like the Stone Golems, they are infused with a synthetic Arcanus, with gives them life, but they must be charged or else they'll run out of power and become dormant. They are most often huge in size and carrying lots of useful and dangerous gadgets. If they are repaired and charged often, they can live over 2000 years, but eventually, their powercell that holds the Arcanus will break beyong repair and they'll die. Golems are incapable of using Magic Spells because they have a Synthetic Arcanus and instead they use Technomagic, which are gadgets and devices infused with magical power. They are most commonly found in the regions of former USSR, but worldwide they are employed in heavy duty jobs. They are immune to Spirit element. Natura An Elemental race made of pure magic, they come in the form of all magical elements sans Psychic, Spirit and Force. Despite the existence of male-looking and female-looking. Natura they are always referred with female pronouns because they are genderless and reproduce through parthenogenesis. Each type of Natura has a name according to the element they come from, and these are: Forest = Sylvia Day = Luce Night = Umbra Sun = Ignis Fatuus Mountain = Pietra Ocean = Ondine Sky = Sylph Storm = Volta Natura have two bodies, the Avatar and the Natural Body. Natura have no soul like Humans, Aes Sídhe and Mythos, and instead are powered solely by the Anima Arcana, that acts as the Natura's source fo power and life, and is located within the Natural Body, which takes the form of something related to the Natura's element. The Natural Body of a Sylvia may be a tree, flower or animal, for example, while the one of a Sylph can be the a eternal whirlwind. The Avatar is the mobile body of the Natura and inside it exists the Nature's Core, a gem that conects the Avatar to the Natural Body. Because of that, unlike other races, where the Arcanus is connected to the Anima Arcana which is directly connected to the soul, in the Natura it works diferently: The Anima Arcana is within the Natural Body, while the Arcanus is connected to the Nature's Core. This makes impossible for Natura to use magic like Magi do, but they can use the power of their elements in a way akin to Magic Spells but less tiresome to the Arcanus than magic. However they'll never learn abilities outside their elements. If the Avatar dies (by breaking the Nature's Core) but the Natural Body doesn't, the Avatar will eventually reborn, but this process that centuries. However, if the Natural Body dies, the Natura will be dead forever. The Avatars are humanoid, but their skin and hair is usually made of their element, e.g. a Ondine will have blue skin with a watery texture while the hair will be like watefalls. This does not mean a Ignis Fatus will burn at touch nor a Volta will zap anyone nearby her. They instead can control the element of their body, make the fire unable to burn, the water unable to wet, the lightning unable to zap, etc. Natura are endemic to the Floating Continent of Ganedhen, but there are some occurrences in the lower world. Acmonian A specter-like race that inhabits the Upper Ethereal Plane. They are "those who were mean to be" which are people who did not born because History was altered. The Universe, in order to maintain balance, gave those souls a second chance. The Goddess created the Ethereal Plane for them to inhabit. When a Acmonian reaches the age of 30, he or she is free to choose leaving the Ethereal Plane and is given a Anima Arcana and Arcanus by the Goddess. Then, he'll go to the Physical World where he will live for around 60 years, before returning to the Ethereal Plane. Inside the Ethereal Plane, they can live up to 200 years. Their appearance is humanoid regardless of the race they were in the worlds before the Day of Reconstruction. They have really pale skin, with tones of blue or green, so pale that if someone stares intently at an Acmonian, they can see through him. A eerie smoke emanates constantly from their body and their lower half is made of smoke, but if they focus hard, they can turn it into legs for walking, instead of gliding. Their voice has a sound in it, like an echo. Acmonians magical capabilities equal the ones of a human, but they are naturally proficient in Spirit magic. In other hand, they are more vulnerable to magical attacks than other races and their Arcanus get tired more quickly. They have the innate ability to shift between the physical world and the Lower Ethereal Plane, making themselves ghost-like and intangible. Ge Probably the most ancient race of all Terra Arcana, they are known as the Earth People. Their skin is made of minerals, such as metal, crystals and earth and they have a shell in their dorso which usually has sharp crystals or teeth over it. The males are quadruped, but actually have six limbs, two are strong arms with sharp crystal at the end that they use to dig, they have a bulky structure, a humanoid upper body and the only part made of flesh are four tentacles that come out of the side of their head that they use to pick up stuff. The females are also quadruped, but more gracious looking, having a slender body with feminine traits such as breasts and arms with four fingers; they have only two tentacles coming out of their head. The Ge's "hair" is actually a crystalline structure that grows out of their head. The Ge's language is a mix of grunts, whistles and hums, but the Omniglass is capable of translating their language to the Glossolalia. The Ge are the weakest spellcasters, but they the most resistant race to physical attacks and also resistant to Forest, Mountain and Sun elements. They live underground, most often in mountain regions and feed from rocks. They are colorblind and nearsighted, which can be corrected with glasses. They can live about 10000 years. Vladescu A vampire-like race. Human Count Vlad the Impaler was the first of this race, when he tried to achieve immortality by casting upon himself the Devil's Curse or Curse of Dracul. The curse involved him "dying" which meant the loss of his soul. He would them be sustained only by the Anima Arcana, living forever by drawing life force directly from the Goddess. Vlad, now called Dracula, did achieve immortality, and he decided to bestow it upon everyone, freeing humanity from the Cycle of Death. What he did not predict was that passing down the curse from his body to another's was not enough. Those who received the Curse by the hands of Dracula had their skin weakened which made them die if they went out on sunlight and they would eventually dwindle and die. Dracula eventually discovered that the reason behind their death under sunlight was that the Curse destroyed the skin's natural protection agains light, making it inflammable and the reason behind the death by dwindling was that their Anima Arcana could not draw all the power from the Goddess, eventually consuming itself and fading. In order for them to survive, they would have to feed from the magic of others and stay away from daylight. Thus, the Vladescu were born. They must feed from the magic of another being by biting their body and sucking the magic that flows in the body, which will eventually lead to the death of the being that is being fed upon, as its Anima Arcana will be eventually fully consumed. The Curse of Dracul is passed on a person dies with the blood of a Vladescu cursing within his veins. Nowdays the technology offered a protection for Vladescu against sunlight, thanks to shileding devices, but they are still weakened by it and strong Day magic can be deadly to them. Nowdays, they can buy synthetic magic as a substitute from feeding upon living beings, but synthetic magic is not as nutritive as natural magic. They are naturally aligned to Night, weak against Day and Sun and Thaumaturgy spells have opposite effect on them . They have a an accelerated natural healing factor but are instantly killed if their Anima Arcana is destroyed. The country of Romania is ruled by them and Southeastern Europe has many Vladescu. Since Vladescu are viewed in a bad light by many people, a great majority of Vladescu decides to live a criminal life as thieves, murderer, etc, but there are those who try to live a honest life. Most Vladescu organize themselves in covens, which have their own hierarchy. Feeding: Vladescu can feed upon any race except the Forgotten, Golems and other Vladescu. The most nutritive are the Aes Sídhe and the least nutritive are the Ge. Feeding from Ge is hard, because the only parts that can be bitten are the tentacles, Acmonian can be only fed if not in Ethereal form and Natura can only be fed if the Vladescu feeds from the Natural Body. The Ethereal Plane was created naturally by the Universe (its Magic) when the Acmonian came to be. The Ethereal Plane is, therefore, made of pure Magic, but at the same time, made of nothing (being different from the Stratum Magi). The Ethereal Plane is really colorful, unlike most believe, with impossible colors, since in it, the Acmonian can see the spectrum of wave from Radio Wave to Gamma Rays. Physical objects in the Ethereal Plane are like smoke upon touch. It's divided in two: Upper Ethereal Plane: The place where Acmonians live, it looks like Terra Priscus was broken into shards, and these shards floating in a sea of Universe like "islands". Here the Acmonians can draw the magic of nonexistence from the air and cast something akin to magic with it. They create magical houses were they can pretend to be physical and imitate the society of the physical world. Once they reach 30, they can chose to leave this realm by receiving a Anima Arcana and live in the Physical World. Lower Ethereal Plane: A exact, but more colorful version of the Terra Arcana. This is the world the Acmonian go when the become intangible. Here, they see the existing beings as if they were spectra. They can only stay for a few minutes in this realm before being forced back into the Physical World. Magic An force that exists in everything in the Universe. It controls the natural laws of things, such as gravity, energy, matter, chemical reactions, life, etc. Magic is not just a force, but the ability to control it. Defined as the ability to control the magical energy to create a field of dream where reality no longer applies, Magic permits its caster to bend reality at his will, thus making the impossible possible, such as creating objects from thin air, manipulating elements and many more. Magic spells are unique to an individual, as it is drawn from each one's imagination, so while two people can have similar spells, they are never intrinsically the same. All magical spells are divided in elements, and they are the following: Forest = Plants and Animals Day = Light Night = Darkness Sun = Fire Mountain = Earth Ocean = Water (all phases) Sky = Wind Storm = Energy and Lightning Force = Non-elements, such as gravity, speed, impulse, impact, teleportation, etc. Psychic = The element of the mind. It includes spells such as mental control, hypnosis, illusions, creating dreams, etc. Spirit = The element of the soul. It includes spells such as possession, necromancy, becoming ethereal, etc... Magic is also divided in Traits, which define what this magic spell does. They are: Construction (CT) = The ability to create and conjure things out of thin air, such as summoning objects, making lightnings in sunny days, fires over the water, creating a waterpot that summons waterfalls, etc... Destruction(DS) = The ability to destroy or degrade things. Explosive spells, spells that cause evaporation of water, pulverization of rocks, for example qualifies as Destructive. Thaumaturgy (TM) = Healing, restorative and protective spells, such as spells that raise defense, strength or agility. Degeneration (DG) = Poisons and impairing spells, such as spells that lower defense, strength or agility. Manipulation (MN)= The ability to control what already exists, such as casting lightnings during storms, controlling already lit fire, generating earthquakes, etc.. Necromancy and Mind Control qualifies as Manipulative spell. Transubstantiation (TS) = The ability to change one thing into another or infusing things with elemental powers. Spells in this category are referred as alchemy. Planotranslocation (PL) = The ability to move through or across planes of reality. Spells such as teleportation, astral projection, portal creation are in this trait. Some spells may have more than one trait, but the trait that defines its actual use is the one that rules over the spell. For example, the spell that creates a bomb qualifies as both Construction and Destruction, but since the bomb sell is ultimately used for an explosion, the spell itself is of the Destruction trait. However, a spell that creates a hammer is Construction and not Destruction, because even though the hammer may be used to destroy something, it does not necessarily need to do so. Casting magic eventually tires the Arcanus, who will not be able to draw power from the Goddess to use magic, making spellcasting impossible for a while. Generic Spells The basic household spells that every magic users can use as soon as their Arcanus reveal itself to them. They are very weak and not meant to be used as offensive spells, but this does not mean that some of them won't cause some damage if used, specially the the magician has high magical power and prowess. Therefore, they are as dangerous as any other spell and but the regulations for their use within cities less strict. These spells are really fast casting (about 1 second) and with a really low energy consumption. They are: Magick (Magic): A ball of raw magic energy therefore it cares no defined proprieties. It can be used offensively by throwing it at a target, causing a minor magic explosion that will harm and distract enemies. It's by infusing elemental power to this spell that the other Generic Spells are born. Agronomia (Forest): This spell allows the user to make flowers bloom, saplings grow and fruits ripen. However, for this spell to be successful, the plant must have at its disposal the same amount of nutrients it would to go through those process naturally. This spell is not considered to turn the plant into a Transmagical Plant, therefore the free use of it is allowed. Phota (Day) = A ball of light that can be used to illuminate the surroundings. The ball can be thrown and it will glow for a while before slowly fading. It can also be divided in smaller balls of light that spread around the user. Penumbra (Night) = A ball of darkenss that steals the lights from the surrounding. It can be used to block the light and even turn off the light by casting it on the lightbulb. Combustia (Sun) = A flame that can be used to ignate fires. If thrown in non-inflamable surfaces, it'll just explode a weak fire, heat and sparkles. Solida (Earth) = This spell is used to move small amounts of earth. It can be used to clean dirt from earthly orgins, dig holes, make pottery, simple sculpitures, repotting. It can also be used offensively by collecting earth, rocks or mud and throwing at a target. Aqua (Ocean) = A ball of water that can also become a spray of water. Useful for cleaning, doing dishes, watering plant. It can also become ice and it'll have the ability to freeze small bodies of water. It also can become steam. Offensively, it can be thrown at targets in water or icy form. Venta (Sky) = This spell creates a gust of wind. It's most commonly used as a leaf blower, hair dryer and fan during warm days. Offensively, it can be thrown into targets to cause a blast of wind. Electrica (Storm) = A ball of lightning that releases sparkles of electricity. It is mostly used to power electrical devices and charge batteries. As an offensive spell, it can be thrown at an enemy to cause a blast of lightning or use the sparkles to zap the enemy. Telekinetica (Force) = This is probably the most useful Generic Spell for lazy people. Items that are hit by the Telekinatica ball can be flung around for a short while. The spell only works if the object is light enough for the caster's magical power. If the object is too heavy, the ball will just hit it with an impact and push it. Empathia (Psych) = This spell can tell the moods and emotion of a person. However, it has a error margin, therefore it's not very trusted. Most people use it only for fun and games. Technomagic The "Magic" of the Golems. It is the ability to infuse technological devices with magical spells, giving them similar traits of magic. Thus, a Golem can create a missile that releases a giant bubble of water upon explosion, a gun that shoots teleportating bullets and many more. The Technomagical Devices are connected to the system of the Golem, therefore it cannot be used by other Golems or people. Technomagic shares the traits and the elements of regular magic, but for the golem be able infuse an Technomahical Device with technomagic, the device must have an afinity to the element and trait of the technomagic. Every Golem character will start with the Blank Bomb Technomagical Device, a bomb with affinity to all elements and traits, but the cheapest and weakest of all devices currently in market. Forgotten Abilites Eye of Knowledge = Every Forgotten has this ability. It allows the Forgotten to instantly learn about about how something works, be it a device, a magic spell or even an enigma. The more developed, the easier it is to reach the answers. Clairvoyance = The ability to see what is out of sight, such as looking through walls, across great distances or even across dimensions. The more developed is this ability, the farther the Forgotten can see. Precognition = The Forgotten his knowledge of the arbitrary factors of the past and present to instantly trace possible events of the near future. The more he knows about said factors, the more possible futures he can hypothesis and he can tell the most probable future with more certain. It's not a 100% correct prediction, and the chances of foretelling correctly is proportional to how developed this ability is. Deduction = Using his knowledge of the present, the Forgotten can tell what happened in the past in a certain room, the history of a certain object, just like a detective can tell what happened in a crime scene based on evidences. The more developed is this ability, the more correct is the deduction at the farthest in the past the Forgotten can see. Persuasion = The Forgotten uses his knowledge, skills and arguments to convice one to do his binding with. The stronger the ability, the easier is to break the mental barriers of the target. Cold Reading = Similar to the Eye of Knowledge, Cold Reading allows the Forgotten to determine or express details about a being, usually a enemy. That way, he can tell the enemy's attacking patterns, weakness and strenghts and even their emotional condition. As this ability develops, the Forgotten can learn more things about the target. Conduit Conduits are means that the spellcaster uses to make his/her magic casting easier. It does not affect the spell's power or energy consumption at all, serving only to make the magician more comfortable when casting. However, it does indirectly affect spellcasting performance, since if the caster is more comfortable, he/she will be able to cast magic more rapidly and more precise, and maybe even do other things while casting, such as fighting. There are countless types of Conduits, such as spellbooks, artefacts for each spell, "potions", sigils, tattoos, etc. However, it's not easy to find a Conduit, as it must suits the person the best, varying from individual to individual. Some people may come to never even discover what is their Conduit and some people may never even have one. Flow of Magic How Magical Energy flows to become a spell, elemental power, technomagic or Forgotten Ability. They care for each other very deeply, in a sibling/master-student relationship. In secrecy, Lizbeth has a crush on Arthur. The Tsar of Russia is Lizbeth's cousin on her father's side. While politically they get along well, non-politically they hate each other. When the Tsar was 14 and Lizbeth was 8, he called Arthur a "nerdy weakling" in front of her. In anger, she used her magic to merge his lower half with the ground bellow and refused to free him until he apologized and kissed Arthur's feet. He stayed trapped for 2 whole days. He is afraid of her ever since. Personality: Lizbeth is very sweet and gentle, almost incapable of hating anyone unless they do something that threatens her Kingdom or friends. Because her Arcano "died" when she was Crowned, she gets lonely very easy and is needy for Arthur's company. She is very smart for her age and a very responsible Queen. She keeps herself informed of everything that is happening in the UK, always questions and discuss the Ministry's decisions. Despite that, she has a childish side, specially when it comes to her collection of toys, Arthur or her insatiable desire for cookies. Despite being usually a sweet girl, she does have a dangerous bad side which rarely shows up, but when it does, it's deadly. The event with her Tsar cousin could be an example of it. This side of her personality only appears when situations that threaten her life, her Kingdom, her friends or her subjects. She loves petting animal-shaped Arcani. Anima Arcana: A pink colored diamond half the size of the Moon. Arcano: She once had an Arcano named Morgan, a female baby Unicorn with a horn that glowed in rainbow colors. Lizbeth was enchanted when Morgan revealed herself to the girl when she was 5. She hugged the Arcano the during the whole day and she loved playing with Morgan. But their time together was short-lived, for a Avatar of the Goddess cannot have an Arcano, being the Avatar in a way, an Arcano herself, the Gran Arcano. When Lizbeth was crowned Queen in rush, because of her mother's condition, Morgan disappeared and Lizbeth could not even say goodbye. She lost her mother and Arcano the same day and that really took a toll on her. She cried nonstop for a whole month, and not even all the cookies in the world or Arthur could console her. She even threw away all her unicorn toys and never got new ones. Morgan is not truly dead though, as Arcano do not die. She returned to the Goddess, to the Magic of the Universe. It's possible that there is away to bring her back, but Lizbeth still don't know how. Hobbies: Drawing, knitting and doing experiments with magic. Signs of Sasha's repairs can be found over his body, such as patched and welded spots, areas made of different material or do not match the rest of the model. In his chest, there is a small but comfortable chamber that fits Sasha's size. In it there is always a tool box, a never-empty coffee can, a pillow, blanket and Sasha's mechanical legs. From inside there, she issues orders to Matryoshka and spends most of her time, practically living in it. From this chamber, comes his name. His body is painted all over reflecting Sasha's interests and preferences, such as drawings of flames, lightning bolts, weapons, gears and screws, but also keeping with the (not so apparent) feminine side of the girl, drawings of cute animals, hearts and flowers can be spotted in his body, specially a huge sunflower at his hollowed chest. In his shoulder, there is Матрешка engraved, made by Sasha. His vocal system is broken so he is unable to talk, with Sasha being his translator. Sasha is has hazel eyes and a blond, long hair that is pale, almost white like snow, which she uses as advantage in the cold winter of Siberia as the hair is so long that it covers her whole ledgless body, using it as camouflage. When she was only 2, she lost her legs due to frostbite so she relied on a wheelchair to move.With the help of her father, she created mechanical legs to walk, but she hates using them as she feels "clumsy and unnatural", therefore preferring to use Matryoshka as transportation. Her clothes are steampunk-themed: she wears a brown dress with moving gears, clocks, pumps and pistons, the dress is long enough to hide her stumps. She wears a pink helmet and goggles with dark lens that she lowers when in battle. Due to the weak sunlight Incidences of northern Siberia, her skin is really pale, but it's always dirty with oil. Background: Sasha's mother, which was a Magi, died in childbirth, so she was raised alone by her father, a Forgotten clockwork maker and inventor. She lived in a city located at the northernmost parto of Siberia called Vechnaya Metelʹ, named after the Eternal Blizzard that covered the world during the Cold War. In this city, it's always wintertime, and when Sasha was only 2, she lost her legs due to frostbite. Being a Forgotten, she was a natural inventor like her father and loved engineering, so when she was 6, she built with her father her mechanical legs. Her father was a former soviet from the times of the Cold War and because of that, he hated the now restored ruling of the Tsar, a hate that rubbed off on his daughter. She believes the Tsar neglects her town too much, always suffering from the harsh cold. One and half years ago, while walking in the outskirt of town, Sasha found a deactivated Golem frozen inside a cave. She knew it was one of the first models ever made during the Cold War, and was instantly interested. Everyday for a whole month, she would visit the Golem to defrost it and repair it. Finally, she was able to fix it, but only the shell, as it lacked a powercell, necessary for its life. She wanted to see it alive so bad, that she did what was never done before: she created a device to replace the powercell that could connect her Arcano with the Golem, thus turning Sasha herself into the Golem's powercell. It worked and the Golem and Sasha became one. When the Golem was activated, he and Sasha began to share thoughts and feelings, as if Sasha was his Arcano. It was like they had know each other since always. The only problem was that if Sasha was too far from the Golem, he would deactivate again. Sadly, his memory banks were so damaged that Sasha had to replace them, so the Golem had no memory of his past. The final modification Sasha did was add the customization and the special chamber for her, naming the Golem Matryoshka, a name he enjoyed. She could not fix Matryoshka's vocal system. The town was surprise when Sasha appeared riding Matryoshka in town and her father didn't like it very much, as he was over-protective of his only daughter. He tried to destroy Matryoshka, despite Sasha's pledges. The Golem, however, did nothing against the father, not even when he forcefully removed Sasha from the chamber.. He finally only react when Sasha's father pushed her aside and she fell to the floor, unable to stand up without her legs. She began to cry and the Golem held the man with his hand, and without harming him, hung the man through his clothes in the heater's pipe in the ceiling. He picked Sasha up, hugged her gently and she kissed him. Seeing that the Golem was no harm to his daughter, the man let Matryohska stay. Recently, Vechnaya Metelʹ began to suffer from a lack of food. Sasha was angered by the Tsar's lack of help towards the town, and wanted to speak directly to him about the issues her people has to go through. Knowing that her father would not agree with that, she left her home with Matryoshka, leaving only a note to her dad. They are currently at Novosibirsk trying to get enough money to use the Trans-Siberian Railway to Moscow, by doing small jobs to people while leaving in a inn by favors. Personality: Sasha is tomboy and a genious at engineering. She hates anyone who underestimate her because she is a girl, young or handicap. She is also sarcastic and despise people who act as fools. She likes to get directly to the point., saying only the necessary. Despite that, she has a bright side, usually making fun of her own handicapped condition. She also has a feminine side, and will scold anyone who thinks otherwise. Despite her young age, she is heavily addicted to coffee. Despite his intimidating size and looks, Matryoshka is sweet, caring and lovable at heart. He dislikes unnecessary fighting, quarrels and swearing. He is very shy, getting uncomfortable when people stare at him or Sasha. Despite being unable to speak, he is very expressive, unlike Sasha, using gestures and beeping sounds to express himself while aided by Sasha's translations. He sees Sasha as his savior, the person who brought him back from the dead, and own life, since she is his power source, believing he has an eternal dept to her, and because of that, he does her bindings without question. If he disagrees with her, he will try to reason with her, but is she insists, he will obey even if reluctantly. She will do anything to protect her. He is somewhat like a motherly figure for Sasha, and acts motherly to her friends also. Despite not being able to eat, he loves cooking and is great at it. Arcano: Cog, a Siberian Fox with mechanical parts and organic parts. He has a silver fur, but his metal parts are golden. Half of his face is mechanical, along with his left upper limb and then entire lower side of the body, except for the tail. Very steampunk-ish, his body has gears and pipes all over it, and the mechanical half of his face has a monocle-like goggle that shines like a flashlight. He is witty and fast at thinking, like his Companion, but he trust no one other than Sasha and Matryoshka. Unlike Sasha, however, he is prolix when speaking which annoys her a lot. He cares deeply for both Sasha and Matryoshka, and will suspect of anyone that goes near them. Lux never bothered and opt to be homeschooled, because for him, parting from friends would be hassle, and he never likes parting. Yet, that exactly what happened few years afterward. His father died of what seem of old age. This proved to be really devastating for the boy who really loved his father. He entered state of denial for months. One day, feeling enough and unable to held his emotion any longer, Lux decide to run from house, only to be confronted by his step mother. She tried as best as she can to keep him from going, to no avail. With their family bond nearing a complete breakup, Eiria give him a key of a cafe, that she bought before with her money, in hope one day it can be a great working place for Lux who great a cooking and brewing and for Brae that love to socialize and helping. She told him, it's fine if he never admit her as his other mother. Although they're not related by blood, for her, they're her children, telling how much they have colored her life, revealing that she's barren. When she about to leave, Lux tell her to "come by sometime, the tea gonna be great", showing a rare, sincere smile. As tribute to his parents, Lux name his cafe Blanche+Noir. The terrace of the cafe, have a special section called Eiria Garden, a relaxation place full of flowers, indicating he indeed accept her as his "other mother". Personality: Cold, sarcastic, deadpan and snarky, but in no way EMO, Lux fit the criteria of being stereotype dark user. True to this, most of his magic are array of darkness type. As a tarp but in no way liking his status, Lux hate it being called female, and will angrily points out that he's not a female. He's generally neutral, but can never be humble even to a queen. In his world, everything is colored grey. As such, he does not believe in "full justice" nor "absolute evil". Lux is an atheist, according to he himself. However, he, nevertheless, believe in the existence of God, for the human avatar of the God already exist, so, why not? This sort of making him an agnostic, but with no dedication toward any God. Starting Location: Paris Race: Aes Sídhe Appearance: A girl with black messy hair that made her to looks like a bishounen. Tenebrae, or nicknamed Brae are mirror image of her brother. Her eyes are blue and she prefer white over black. Her bangs cover her right side of face. She always wear a bloody red flower brooch with black stem. She call it "Dunkelheit". Her wings are purplish black and transparent. Background: Twin of Lux, nicknamed Brae or Tenebie that seem the younger and the warm one of the pair. She only can remember little part of her memories, but claims otherwise. All she know, she born to pair of Aes Sídhe parents under name of Noir (Father) and Blanche (Mother). She lives on a farm house back then. However, for unknown reason, her mother passed away. She, however, secretly overheard that her mother is "bitten" somehow when venturing to search for medicine. Apparently, his father know this and that they're in danger, deciding to leave. After three years of mourning, his father remarried to a Forgotten named Eiria, who loved the twins like that of her own. However, despite already being married, her job as a writer often make them move from places to places for inspiration. Although at first the woman asks Noir to just stay with the kids while she goes on her journey and will come back every two months, the man rejects and insists that they should go together, probably from trauma losing his wife. Tenebrae are the one that protests most. She never want to leave her friends behind, but eventually reluctantly give up. After few years, her father died of what seem of old age. Unlike Lux, Brae is more calmer in this. Still curious of the one that killed her mother, Brae decides to study more about the vampire race, only to found out what her father feared: They're delicious meal for the vampires. This alludes her to learn Day element instead of her most proficient element, angering Caliginis a bit, although she know it'll be best for her... for now. Brae also took fencing to be "safe", which Lux found unreasonable, but agreed to it. She followed Lux after he run away from home, and contrary to him, she directly tell her stepmother that although she's not her biological mother, she's a great mother and call her "Mom" to differentiate her with her biological mother. Apparently, two of them often chatted with e-mail. Personality: Brae are warm and sociable, betraying her almost emo looks. She gets along well with Lumen and Lux, but have fear to her own Arcano. Like Lux, Brae hate to be thought as opposite sex. Brae loves to do chores, but also terribly bad at them, which results Lux never let her to do any chores. Brae, like Lux, use opposite element of her proficiency, Light. She's shown to be a great fan of the queen of magic, and really admires her although the queen are obviously a year younger. Anima Arcana: Dark Purple Amethyst Arcano: Caliginis - Female An Arcano with form of a black snake. Stern, stubborn, graceful and a bit sadistic. Caliginis, like Lumen, have ring on her, although hers are rather broken in shape. She float instead of moving around on ground. Contrast to Lumen's, it's black and it's inscription unable to be read unless Brae casts Darkness magic, which she never before. When Brae casts light magic, it turns gold, but the inscription on it still unreadable. Caliginis prefer Latin as spell language, and tried to memorize Latin for the heck of it. She's based on Serpentarius. Soul Siblings: Ivan Domitrovich Arcane Link Lux Despite being female, Brae tends to fight for her brother, getting in harm way to protect him. Even if their daily verbal trade is really prickly in one side (Lux loves to throw sarcams her), Brae loves her brother dearly, and know he also loves her. To her, he's just being a tsundere who can't express himself as best as she could. And for that, she often encourage him to make new friends, much to his dismay. The magic of the two: Spoiler: click to toggle Mechanism of the two looks normal, but behind that, they hide an ability to alter their magic, called Alterinate by Brae. However, at the present, it's only a theory. In theory, it's plausible by gathering leftover of spells from the enemies using Caliginis' vacuum ability and then use it as material to make the spell change into something new. For example, Brae can opt to change her Ray into Energia Red that is Sun elementaled should Caliginis gather enough leftover fire. However, the mechanization is too tolling for Caliginis alone presently. Hence, Lumen's help is needed. On that note, Lumen is yet to be able to gather magic like Caliginis does.
The limitation: Present: 1: Presently, the twins must be together to Alter Spell. They must be in 3 meters range in order for their Arcanis to touch each other, like Mix Magic. 2: They cannot cast Alter spell that includes their deficient element, which mean they cannot alter their spell to Ocean or Sun 3: They must be in perfect sync Future: 1: They can alter magic themselves, but are tasking for their Arcanis 2: When together, they can cast Ocean or Sun, but unable to do so for their deficit element when alone. 3: No need for perfect sync, but to Alter Magic-Twincast, need to be in perfect sync Their Magic Mix is dubbed twincast by Lumen, but they're yet to able to conjure one, only NEARLY able to. With long, yet round and childish fingers, his hands are strong and firm, much like his arms, legs and chest that developed muscles and form due to the work on the farm. Ivan is by no means bulky though -- he simply has a healthy, well-defined body. Background: Ivan is from Pripyat, a city near the Chernobyl plant in Ukraine. Albeit being born in a proper urban hospital, he was a child of the earth since the very moment he opened his eyes. His family owns a small rural property in the town's outskirts, and he always worked alongside his father in the fields. He was the fourth son of the Domitrovich family and also the only boy among 6 sisters, which brought upon him great deals of responsibility. Luckily, he was able to withstand it alongside the love of his family. Ivan also studied in a rural school close to Pripyat's dependencies, having coursed high school in the city (where he met a friend from Sweden, Annika, that got him interested in the Swedish language). He has also just completed a technical course under environmental studies that got him interested in Magic -- being the time where he crafted his two spells after reading some books and identifying himself with the Forest element. It was never a necessity to use Magic in his household, but the boy's creative mind perked its interest when his teacher used a simple creation spell to make a sapling, further applying Thaumaturgy on it so it could grow and become a tree much faster than if it was cultivated by normal means. Being inspired, he was capable of creating his charms soon after graduation, much to the surprise of his family. His father greatly disapproved of he using that mysterious force, yet there was nothing he could do -- Ivan was a man now. His sisters were very curious and happy that he managed to accomplish that goal, supporting him to learn more. His mother, confused, simply smiled, with a hint of pride and fear mingled in her chest. The boy lacks experience, but would his future be filled with the wonders of the Arcana? Well, for now, he could only have his determination to make it so. Personality: Ivan is a country boy. No matter how much contact he had with the city and its modern schools, both his simplistic view of things and the strange accent his Ukrainian and his Glossolalia have are trademarks never to be changed. Albeit simple and very humble, he is very creative and extremely loyal to others and is innocent enough to easily trust people (which can lead to constant betrayal), and be really angry if one of his friends is back-stabbed. He is optimistic, however in moderation and, due to his tenderness, tending to be more harmonious than "happy" or "jolly". The lad can be playful with friends and is a very caring companion, being very softhearted at times. Above all, he has a deep respect for the world, the environment, and for the people themselves - in fact, Ivan is the kind that secretly looks up to everyone, tracking any of their talents, being them properly recognized by the person or not -- at times though, his innocence in observing can place him as a stalker...or whatever that is supposed to mean. Anima Arcana: A star-shaped emerald. Arcanus: Yagoda (Ягода), a light-brown Samoyed dog that has a relaxed and calm nature. Yagoda has very, very fluffy fur, making him Ivan's favorite pillow. He has a leash made of olive twigs and a green bandana around his head with his name inscribed. The tip of his tail has a green protuberance resembling a leaf, and he always carries a small wooden cane on his mouth that has a similar marking on its end. When Ivan is casting Forest Magic, Yagoda glows with Cyrillic markings all over his body, as he is surrounded by a green aura and leaves. When another type of magic is cast, he simply glows. Personality-wise, Yagoda is very laid-back and even a bit lazy, but he has a sense of responsibility and is very knowledgeable. He acts as a second father towards Ivan, backing up his lack of innocence; he'll be initially hostile and cold to most people they meet, but that would reveal itself only as a method of protecting his companion, easily dissolving into a very friendly aura when he can see that the individuals can be trusted. He only calls the boy "young'un", rarely ever pronouncing his name. The dog also has a fun side that loves to laugh and play with people he knows, especially children, that also reveals an extremely loyal and faithful persona, much like Ivan. Hobbies: Gardening, sightseeing, fixing things (as long as it's not too hi-tech). Likes: Nature, flowers, soft breezes, sunlight, tattoos. Dislikes: Dark nights, storms, betrayal. Since Yagoda himself is a reflection of that personality, the Arcanus developed a special system of Conduits to fit his necessity and to make casting a more "enjoyable" process for him: Every spell of Ivan's is engraved in his body as a type of mutable tattoo that glows when he casts it. This system only works with Forest spells, and every tattoo corresponds to a "category" of spells. For example, Ivan has a spell called "Belladonna's Embrace", that takes the form of a Belladonna flower bud in the back of his right arm. When he learns another spell involving Belladonna flowers (for example a spell called Atropa Bomb), the tattoo would change shape to match the spell (in this case it would become a Belladonna Berry). These inscriptions vary in size and color, and appear in places both the Arcanus and Companion see fit. Albeit Ivan showed surprise, he had expected this from Yagoda, especially since he always felt like his spells were to be made into tangible forms at his reach. Was a fairly normal, fine, happy child until the day of reminisce, were she started to remember glimpses of another life. Her father a Forgotten himself, tried to console her that this was just "normal" and musing that she had maybe talent in being a deductor (like himself), but it didn`t help Ilsa. She grew envious and irritated about the people who could use magic and felt betrayed by the world itself. Seeing how even the dumbest classmates proceeded to get good grades through cheating and seeing people advance that wouldn`t have advanced int he other world, Ilsa exploded one day. Telling them that "magic is all wrong" and "some of you shouldn`t been here, you know?", did earn her the repuation of being a "strange" and "conceited" bitch. The once cheerful and gentle girl turned paranoid, mistrustful and bitter. As she even started to lash out at her own Arcanus and calling it "fake weird thingie", the patience of her family was used up. For her summer holidays they sended her away, to her grandmother (maternal) to the countryside (a small town), so that she could learn to deal with her attitude normally. Being finally sepparated from the stressfull environment that polluted her thoughts, she began to relax more and under the guidance of granny, both of them learned to trust each other again. (The whole process took much longer than one summer, but it was a start. ) As she came back, the young woman changed to a special school for Forgotten and seemed to become a lot calmer, since she wasn`t stuck anymore with magic-users. Followed the wish of her parents Ilsa applied for an university, after her graduation, but she lacked the ambition to become a real genius, so she just returned home with good grades, but no real goal. Present Having moved to the hometown of her grandmother to support the old lady, she currently works half-day as a interior-cleaner for a Pizzeria, that is owned by a Vladescu. He has brown fur covering some parts of his body along with some whiskers, and a fluffy red panda tail. He likes to wear casual hooded vest, a pair of shorts, and simple tied shoes. Background: Andry's father was a famous Proelium Athlete. But he broke his foot in a match and was forced to retire. His father didn't force it on him, and he didn't start it because of his father either, but somehow he started playing Proelium as well. Andry became a Proelium Athlete and started playing the sport since middle school. His position is an attacker. He worked hard and his team managed to participate in this year's World Junior Proelium Cup in Singapore. Andry did everything he could to train and prepare for this championship, along with the other 4 members in his team, the Madagascar Fandroaka (means dog). His team always had good chemistry. They always think alike and can understand each other, but something happened to one of the members, Gildas, who is also Andry's childhood friend. His mother died and he had to go through a hard time during this loss, resulting in a total degress in the team's performance. They somehow managed to get to the semi-finals, but lost. This was a huge shock to Andry. He was really set on winning this game to show that he can be better than his father, but it's now all lost because of Gildas' fault. In the end he had a fight with Gildas and the both of them haven't contacted each other again after the cup since Gildas got out of the team. Andry is now set on working towards entering the pro world, but on the other hand Gildas is... Also, He got 10000 UIC for getting to the semi-final. Personality: He is an outgoing and lively person. Friendly, but very competitive. Hates losing and to be on the bottom of things. He likes challenge and competition, but unless it's regarding these things that he's interested in, he can be considered quite lazy. He does everything on his own pace and enjoys sleeping on a tree in the slow days. As a Mythos, naturally he's not very well-versed in magic, but he can handle it quite well as he plays Proelium a lot. It might be nowhere near as powerful as Magi or Natura, but he mainly uses his magic for supportive purposes, since he relies on his physical strength more should he get into a fight. Though as far as Proelium spells go, he can take care of them fairly well. Anima Arcana: Peridot Arcanus: Vorombola - Female Malagasy for 'Peafowl'. Vorombola is a female Peacock with giant, beautiful tail feathers colored in shining green, blue, and golden brown. Like a normal peahen, the body is blue, but the size of the tail is out of the ordinary. It displays and spreads its huge feather when casting magic. The eyes on the tail feathers however, are real eyes that are always closed, and only open when casting magic. Vorombola closes her 'tail eyes' immediately as soon as spell chanting is finished. Vorombola represents Andry's proud nature, and desire of wanting to appeal to others in the best way possible. It can be used to strengthen any part, but it's called Wild Fist because he uses it mainly on his fists. Strengthening the fist isn't only for increasing defense, but also to make it harder as to inflict stronger damage when used to hit something. The harden skin also makes it less likely that he will feel pain in hitting harder substances. He uses this spell a lot in Proelium matches. Relaxation Touch [Ocean] [Thaumaturgy] Controls blood circulation by touching the skin. Uses Forest element to understand the flow of the body organs and insides, but mainly relies on the Ocean element to give commands to the blood itself. It won't work to heal wounds or outside injuries, but it can help relax sore muscles and make tiredness go away. Useful to be used after practice or to preserve energy during a Proelium Match. Background: Originated from Messina, Marcus had been wandering from places to places since couple years ago. He decided to do so because he wanted to study the beauty of every places in Terra Arcana. However, his extravagant upbringings made it hard for him to travel around so much. Therefore, he often took a part time job when he stayed in a city. Nothing much is known about his past, since he always clammed up if being asked. He usually went around with his nickname, Mark. Marcus was the third child of a rich businessman in Italy. Often pampered by his father when he was a child, he frequently became the target of envy from his other siblings, especially the eldest child. As a kid, Marcus was quite friendly and hot-blooded. The latter trait was not as apparent when he grew to be a young adult. He also became closer and more considerate to his siblings, much to the eldest child's dismay. His spells consist of three types: Armament, Boost, and Tool. Armament affects his battle performance, Boost gives him the strength, while Tool acts as an aide in some situation. Theoretically, it is possible for him to have more than three spells active at the same time, but should he do that, he'll pass out immediately due to overexertion(his spells constantly rob him of his stamina).

Liliana prefers to physically bully and beat people down into submission even when going against odds and magic. Her martial prowess and preference completely eclipsed her thought and wish to learn any form of magic. Opting for the sword and fist instead, this has proven to be effective to a certain extent psychologically to both herself and others on the point of her blade. At some point about two years back, Liliana is ordered to present her magic ability to appease and 'perform' for her Vladescu superiors after they had apparently 'realized' that she has never shown any form of such. A burden came upon her instantly to preserve her pride and place among the Vladescu, as there is no place for the magically deficient among her community. Should she fail, she would be humiliated and looked down by them, possibly even outcast. In the period before her demonstration, Liliana studied through great lengths and formed out two of her signature spells for demonstration. Despite its meager number, the sheer power of her realized abilities raised some brows of those who actually thought she is magically deficient like the forgotten. Formerly knowing to forge her place through physical force, Liliana realizes another form of power to oppress everyone, including her seniors and superiors that held greater age and positions. The ones that oppressed her people, are no exception. Always independent excluding her own Arcano which remains by her side, Liliana is able to take her own initiative to learn and improve herself in anyway she can, for power and to be above all. That is, if she even bothers to do so. Personality: In the day, Liliana is usually in a foul mood and easily irritated due to her nature as a Vladescu, she is fine with the sun's heat but the constant inconveniences would form her current attitude and constant expression of a slight frown. On the flip-side, at night, Liliana is much calmer and cool headed as her natural personality starts to surface; thinking more rationally and open-minded unlike her short tempered day self. In short, her day self is more of a irritable delinquent while her night self is proper and reserved. There is some generalization which is the same for both her day and night moods. Liliana generally looks down on lowly plebians which crawl at her feet powerlessly in an unsightly way, but not the hard working ones which deserves a fair amount of respect. Those who are lowly are the type that would try to sully and bring her very existence and pride down. People who work in methods without any regard for personal pride and shame also come under the same scrutiny by her. Superiors on the other hand, Liliana is tolerant yet absolutely hates situations where rank is used against her irrationally and without thought for consequence just for mere relief in 'keeping her in check'. Anima Arcana: Purplish-Red Ruby Arcano: Gau - Female At first glance, Gau seems like a proper humanoid female but is in fact, a doll with highly realistic features. Visible joints for her fingers and limbs prove the fact at the end of her trench coat which she wears, having a color scheme relating to Liliana's Anima Arcana color of Purplish-red along with its base as black. Her hair is long like Liliana, but with a more distinct ruby red. Her eyes are also of the same color. On her head though, wears a metal helmet that is shaped like the helmets of the papal guard. It is distinct as the face protector can and is usually raised. To complete her appearance, Gau has metal plate greaves complete with boots for leg and foot wear. Personality wise, Gau is not very different from Liliana herself, with both of them tending to trade verbal blows with each other at times. Still, Gau remains as Liliana's closest companion and family, keeping her in check is always her job. Teasing and deliberate disturbance on the other hand, is optional but preferred. Liliana's magic is unique on her own as she formulates her magic through rigid and complex yet strong magic sequences and spell shapes. Just to form these links and shapes, Liliana has to expend more magical energy than usual. On top of that, even though her magic does not require any chanting by voice, it is all made by mind and experience but it is also very time consuming. The main benefit of Liliana's own magic theory is to maximize output through solid foundations and wide magic energy capacitor capabilities. The result is vast output and magic foundation that can not be interfered or countered easily. The more complex and powerful the base spell is, the longer it takes to make and concentrate on the magic sequence. Stronger variants can be built by investing more time and magical energy into the sequence or altering them a little to produce various results in the resulting spell to be cast. There are also phases in the magic sequence just to create a single spell, a systematic yet time consuming approach notable in Liliana's magic theory and preference. Liliana's Arcano, Gau, has her role in the magic sequence formation process by supplying Liliana the blueprints for the magic sequence as well as the magic energy required. When activating the spell preparation process, Gau's face protector will drop down and cover her face, revealing it as a solid metal plate with holes that glow in the Anima Arcana's color. She usually executes her role behind Liliana with arms held towards her companion, floating while lines of magic sequence and energy form from Gau's body and attaches to Liliana. Spear of Purgatorium - 3 Phase Spell [Sun] - Primary trait: Construction (CT) - Secondary trait: Destruction (DS) - Tertiary trait: Manipulation (MN) First phase: Construction of magic sequence and foundation of spell. A single spell circle with a triangle as the core is formed beneath Liliana's feet while two sequence triangles form on her hands to signify the construction trait in progress. As the phase continues, the circles are fortified and completed, ready for the next phase. Second phase: A swirling group of magic sequence lines is formed in the middle of the space in between Liliana's hands. This is the construction of the main spell itself to form the magic spear. The sequence may be altered a little to form certain variants of the spear, but the process is largely the same. As the sequence bundle continues to form, more and more sequence lines are formed until they are compressed together into a single matrix, ready for the last phase. Third Phase: The final and actual construction of the spell, the Spear of Purgatorium, the matrix is run through a faint magic sequence template. As it passes through the line, intense flames are created with the magic trait of destruction, compressed and packed with mighty power. Slowly, the matrix decreases in size until the end, forming a spear that is larger at the tip and smallest at the end. Upon Liliana's will, the spear may be thrown towards any target and can be manipulated to a small extent. Linear Scorcher - 2 Phase [Sun] - Multiple layers - Primary trait: Construction (CT) - Secondary trait: Destruction (DS) First phase: Construction of magic sequence and foundation of spell. A single spell circle with a pentagon as the core is formed beneath Liliana's feet. Two spell circles just like the one beneath also forms behind both of Liliana's shoulders respectively. This formation is quicker, but the second phase that is next is much harder to build and is the entirety of the spell. Second Phase: The core magic sequence is formed and held before Liliana's two hands. From there, the main sequence structure is built out in a circle, packing in the information. This is the central structure of the Linear Scorcher where the control and everything relevant to it is akin to a cannon's main structure. Second in place, comes in as focal structure, the barrel where three spell circles with hollow centers or also known as rings, form in front of the central sequence. They stabilize and focus the spell to prevent any possible excess dispersion or mishaps during activation. Next, the charge is formed on the outer rims of the central sequence as another circle or circles, depending on the time intended for the spell continue. Each ring equates to about three seconds of spell duration. As further rings are made, they require more magical energy despite the sequence simply being similar as the previous one. Lastly, the cap or primer of the spell is created, it is the simplest structure with the important task of driving the sequence through the whole system and firing out the spell. The result is a linear beam of scorching yet compressed fire and heat which burns through anything it hits intensely. The actual temperature for the normal variant is not recorded as of yet. Her mother passed away due to illness,making her lose the protection her mother granted to her. It only grew worse due to the fact Kunagi evoked her magic at her mother's funeral. Kunagi proceeded to live her life along with his father and Hiouguu, Her Arcano, in seclusion. During the next 8 years, Kunagi learned how to control her magic under the tutelage of her father and befriended Lymselia, one of the few friends that she has. Kunagi father passed away in an accident when she was 16 years old, leaving Kunagi as an orphan. The hostility of the people in Mitsumine towards her remained even after her parent's death.
