Hearing the noise of footsteps outside of your room, you wonder what they want this time. After weeks of annoying training in learning their language, you're still thankful that your COMMON bio-implant made it look like a breeze to these natives. The room is egg-white with a nice comfy bed, a night stand, and a window looking out to a garden. For an isolation prison cell, this has class.

Opening the door, it's the same warden that you met the first time you came to this facility. Tall, bald, and wearing a brown robe with beige highlights, magnifying the grueling work a warden is tasked with. Two of his personal bodyguards enter in with him this time. Weapons drawn behind their backs. What is it that they want?

"Can you understand me," the warden inquired.

You simply nod your head.

"Excellent! My name is Femori Ricktl, Temporal Warden for the Revilia government." Femori continues before you could say anything. "It is to our understanding that you and a few others are off-worlders, as your cloths are different from ours, didn't know our language weeks ago, and we've seized in our tank hanger bays your space faring vessels."

The warden paces side to side, taking his time on what to do with you.

"I'm here today as a representative to the ruling council of the Revilia government. They have requested that we free you and the other off-worlders, as your cooperation in sharing your homeworld information has been interesting to those politicians. We've also been instructed to inform you that you received some money to your newly created account. You are, as of today, permitted to have full access to our Ethra Network, and explore the shops in the inner city."

Femori gestures you to stand and come with him now. You haven't told them about your COMMMON being able to access wireless signals and use internet systems like the Ethra Net from your head. Checking in your mind as you get up, inputting the password given to you earlier, you get surprised. It's not your traditional keyword search engine that you're accustom to. Rather, it's a V.I. (Virtual Intelligence) of a female humanoid you learned to be of Himlick descent inquiring what you wish to know. You disconnect from the server and follow Femori and his guards.

Along the way, the warden goes into two other rooms and gives the same speech that he gave you and pulls two more to follow along side you. Who are these other two? What's going to happen for real?

The corridors felt empty, until you crossed over a windowed catwalk, showing more of the forested area on one side, and a shiny metallic and glass city in the distance on the other side. Following for a few more minutes and a flight of stairs later, you arrive to a door labeled, "Conference Room." Femori gestures you and the other person to come on in. Being told to wait for a few minutes, those minutes pass by faster than you thought as a woman with tanned skin and two horns on her head came into the room with goodie in tow.

"Greetings," the woman bows slightly. "If you're curious, I'm a Teruie. But enough about me, I've been told to give you these bracelets."

Handing one to each person, she resumes to speak.

"Your bracelet allows you to store items that are phase transferred to our warehouses here in Logoma City. You have access to our maps of the Continent of Solrumbra. We've also made arrangements to provide small, but nice housing arrangements should you wish to coexist and promote our community. Additionally, there's a debit card you can summon that's already registered to your account balance. Before we answer your questions and permit you to leave this isolation facility, we would like for you to check the tank hanger bays and confirm if these space faring vessels are yours."

Moving to another wing of the facility, you have been shown each of the space ships that appear to be one or four seaters. Lucian spoke up and mentioned that one of them is his, while the other two said to not have owned a spaceship, the Teruie slipped underneath her breath if they belong to the other off-worlders that haven't learned their language as proficiently as both of you have to date.

"Thank you for your time, you three," the woman smiles. "Are there anything I can answer? Or if you like to leave, head out behind you, turn left, and take a tram to the city. We'll email you, as part of your freedom, we do wish you to perform...some tasks for us."

From the very start of his arrival to this foreign room, Lyan only sitting on his bed. Nearly all daily activity done there. He often get guests that he don't know who, nor he care. Apparently, they tried to teach him their language. Too bad for them, he stayed like that, like a lifeless doll. Not too long after that, they give up. A wise decision. He don't feel like answering anything... ah, correction, he don't feel like doing anything.

Just like that, it escalates to this. They inserted something to him... well, that ain't clear, but definitely "inserting something". He don't care at all... But it all changed when that man came to his room. He talk something about... he don't get it, he's not smart, not at all. He's uneducated child, a slave. His vocabulary rather limited, and that's not helping that none of his late-teammates never the... "formal" type.

The young man feigned ignorance until suddenly this... annoying warden mentioned something about his world being "interesting" to politician. His catatonic state broke immediately as his eyes shot furious glare at the warden. He stepped on a landmine.

"Please... never... talk... about that place... ever."

Bald headed warden beckons him to come. He repeated the same procedure to two other peoples as Lyan waits outside. His eyes feast themselves with the very unique architecture... It felt so different from home... Home? Wait, do he have one? A sudden ache assaulted his head. Lyan felt the urge to vomit, helplessly holding his head as slowly his memory playing over and over again. Without noticing it, he arrived in front of a room.

"C-conference.... Room..." he read, totally perplexed how the heck he could read it.

Mr. Femori gestured him and now two other person to enter the room. Good, last thing he want is dragged around like a ragdoll. Choosing seat to left of a brown haired man, Lyan made himself comfortable. His headache yet to dissipate at all. It does not took a while before suddenly a tan skinned woman appeared. Like the warden, she speak something impossibly makes sense for low-witted him. A gold bracelet presented in front of him.

No harm in doing it, I guess... he muttered under his breath, wary and suspicious about the whole ordeal.

Moment before the bracelet fit on his right wrist, Lyan stopped.

"When... did I attempted to suicide...?"

A sinning mark etched on the skin: A mark of one who reject to keep living. Pain torturing him become much more unbearable. Hiss of pain escaped his lips as he clutched his head. Memories of his teammates replayed in his head in fast succession like a movie. The Teru woman's words does not hold any sort of importance to him right now.

They moved once more, this time to some sort of... well, alien room again. Another strange object presented in front of him, apparently belongs to the brownie earlier. The Teru question if they want to ask some questions. Braving himself, he raise his arm.

"...Is... there is any people that... come from the same place as me? Preferably---ugh!"

Another pain assaulted. Everything in the room blurred... before suddenly a face of a female that looks like male substituted the scenery. He saw the young him training with her, trading fists and kicks. They looks like a brother and sister if not for their obviously different appearance.

-------------------------------------------------------------
The scene faded out, replaced by other one. A healer tending his wound, smiling motherly to his crying younger self. Blade wings-like appendage sprouting out from his shoulder. Almost like it's alive, the wings twitched despite it's metallic-like composition.

Fade out again, fade in again. This time he saw an older boy with heavily plated armaments. They looks really close, sharing a laughter together near a fireplace. The boy's eyelids slightly moist, probably from crying, as his eyes looks a bit swollen. The older one patted him on the head, whispering something, which he immediately agreed. They shared another laughter...

Once more, fourth time. This time about a haughty looking girl, who kicked a monster that almost bitten him. Proudly, the girl grinned at the young him, puffing her chest. He laughed gleefully at her antics, only to be smacked by her on the head. The girl acted hurt, only to laugh at his about to cry expression.

Another blackout, and another scene fade in. A boy with sketchbook, sketching all of them in front of a school-like facility...
The scene changed in rapid succession. They grow together, get wounded together, cry and laugh together... Close like a family, but more than that. He can't hold the urge to smile to those memory... before...

One by one, they're wounded... almost fatally. From the very first to the last. The last two laying on the ground with their weapon on their heart. They committed suicide. Only four of them left currently... with their last smile etched on their face, they pulled out four identical knives, about to slit their vein. Before they could do it, a gigantic chimera-like monster appeared, roaring at them. Their smile widened. They don't have to end their life themselves. The healer tossed herself to it's jaws directly, killed on spot. The protector even provoke the beast and got trampled to death. The male-looking women is next. Her smile widened, almost like crazed... Before suddenly an ear-deafening explosive sound froze both of them and the manticore. Horrified, he saw a black hole opened behind him, pulling him inside. The woman yelled at his direction, extending her hand to him. Their hands about to grab each other... before another monster eat his leader from legs to head, leaving him holding her mutilated arm...
-----------------------------------------------------------

His consciousness yet to return... the boy lay on the ground...

A foreign white room, this is the place where she spend all her time for how many long she herself had lost track of time. For the most of her time she simply stared towards the garden, unsure herself why she wasted time on that.

She did not even studied the language she needed to learn, or simply she did not even need to. Her learning abilities to adapt are simply extraordinary, able to quickly learn the basic culture and language she needed to learn. But that doesn't mean she did not require any help. It took several days for her to get her mind calm, signifying that she had faced a very traumatic experience during her arrival of this planet. She was slow at the start but as time passes, her condition improved.

Still staring at towards the garden through her window room, a guest forced his way through the door.

Arshei did not even look at him and simply starred at the garden, she simply did not noticed or ignored him. As the warden got closer to her, she was shocked, quickly taking her warning stance. She forgot who he is.Who is he? Is he going to kill me? Many questions came to her mind. Her red vicious eyes stared at him, warning him not to come any closer.

For a petite body such as hers, she is quite threatening enough. She injured a guard simply because she was still shocked by her trauma, and for the fact that the guard surprised her by touching her by the shoulder even though he was given a warning how mentally unstable her condition is.

However, the warden was careful enough to make his presence noticeable and avoiding the same incident happening again.

The warden simply told her to calm down and he won't do any harm. Arshei lowered her guard and simply listened to him.

He told things about how her COMMON, which was implanted within her. She doesn't feel like trying it for now and leave it for later.

The warden also told that politician's are interested in knowing Arshei's home-world. No matter how much Arshei would like to tell them, there's not much to tell them except that its a scrap heap world ruled by pirates and then invaded by another high-tech pirates. She simply kept quiet and followed him as she was told so. She had preferred to just stay in the room instead of being set free to the world. To her it was way more comfortable, one of the things she felt grateful ever since she came here.

There are other two people following him, but she simply ignored them.

On their way they walked through a windowed catwalk, an amazing scenery was shown o her, towering glass cities, greenery, something she couldn't imagine such thing would ever exist, the scenery completely awed her. All the things she saw until now was towering scrap of heap, devoid of beauty and filled with ugliness. Time passed, she didn't even realized they have reached a Conference Room.

In the conference room, there was a women, brown skin in color with two horns on her head, introduced herself as a Teruie and didn't waste time introduce herself and gave three of them a bracelet, an item which somehow allows the storage of items.

She then explains, that they have provided accommodations for them as long as they promote their community. Arshei simply did not care, she's not sure whether she should feel grateful about it, but as long as it maintains her survival she'll do anything.

They then move into another wing to confirm about ships, which she knows nothing of it. She simply told that she doesn't have a personal ship.

Once confirmed, the Teruine asked if they have other questions, Arshei had nothing in mind to ask at the moment and just went with the flow, though she was sort of interest about what the Teruine said at the end.

"...what task?"

Suddenly, one of the other person who had been following all the time lying on the ground. Arshei simply look at him unfazed

Recounting that time ago, Lucian still couldn't for the life of him understand why his engines had scrammed over Mali 3's orbit. It was sure as hell scary to be falling into the planet at high accelerated speeds, only to barely manage steering his spaceship into the watery coastline. Struggling to get out, he had made it to the shoreline, only to find a couple of Terran-like humanoids confuse the hell outta him with a language that sure wasn't part of the linguistics package in his military developed COMMON.

The door opens. Mr. Ricktl had come to visit again. This would be the second time Lucian had seen this 'Temporal' Warden, or whatever that stood for.

"Can you understand me," the warden inquired.

Lucian simply nodded.

"Good, good. It is to our understanding..."

"That we're beings from another world, that you have our stuff, and want to learn as much about us as possible. Did I leave anything out?" Lucian smiles.

Ricktl wasn't sure if he was just speeding the conversation up, which is remarkable deduction skills after learning their language as one of the most cooperative off-worlders; or, he's been a arrogant. The warden clears his throat.

"If you know that much, then that makes things easier. Would you please come with me...err?"

"It's Lucian Windchester. Lucian's fine if you like simplicity."

"Of course, Lucian. Thank you. Now if you would follow me."

Gesturing him to the door, Lucian uses his COMMON to access the Ethra Net, as the last person who visited him had informed him of having access to their net. He tried before to communicate with Earth and the International Space Station, but it seems that he's out of range without a functioning ship. As he logs into the Net, the V.I. pops up, using up too much time with New User tutorials to even use the Net and see more about this Ricktl guy. He logged off mentally as he finished rising out of his bed.

Seeing two others coming along for the ride, they both looked like they've seen hell. Surely the staff hadn't mistreated them. Hell, Lucian was sure he was going to be tortured until he arrived here and had a soft bed, warm meals, and more or less frequent visitors. Just sucked to have to be holed in the room for weeks though. Taking a walk, they've reached over to a windowed catwalk, one side showed more of the forested area that was already featured in his room, and the other side with beyond Modern tastes for architecture engineering and aesthetic design. It dawned on Lucian how this civilization can have the Net, and not have a station in orbit or something. There was nothing on long range scans before exiting out of warp.

Soon after, everybody arrived into a Conference Room. A Teruie shortly after came in, only to give out her racial name. Given a bracelet, he was told of phase transfer to their warehouses. What did they have in mind. Were they going to continue observing us once they free us? Directed one of the tank hanger bays, Lucian was shocked to see his vessel down in the middle with others that looked like something the Euphoria Council had enlisted with their mass exploration conscription. That law in itself was a load of bull.

Lucian had mentioned his vessel to the Teurie woman.

"Thank you for your time, you three," the woman smiles. "Are there anything I can answer? Or if you like to leave, head out behind you, turn left, and take a tram to the city. We'll email you, as part of your freedom, we do wish you to perform...some tasks for us."

"...what task?" Came the little girl.

"Well...I don't know all of..."

The other teenager collapsed before she could finish.

"Oh my!" The woman was really shocked and frantically unsure what to do. Two of the security guards nearby came and picked the guy up. "We should get him to the infirmary!"

"I have one onboard my vessel, if you would permit me to have us go there," Lucian offered.

"Well..." She looks at one of the security guards. They nodded in giving the ok. "...Ok, fine. I was wanting to ask more of your technology, would that be alright?"

"Sure. I wanted to see what I can salvage while we're there."

Lucian and the woman look back to the girl.

"I'll email you later when I have more of the specifics. You can follow us if you like or head out. There should be a guard outside of the bay who can give you directions if you get lost. Your apartment should be located on the digital map provided in your COMMON."

A hoarse moan suddenly could be heard from the boy as he opened his eyes. Amethyst orbs scanning the new room he's currently at... He blinked several times to adjust his still blurry vision. The image of his past sink in... They all died. That only leave him and no one else. He would cry if he could... but he can't. Weight of the trauma are so severe... What would it give even if he cried? They won't even return...

He sat straight and stretch his blade-like appendage. One got broken, great. It'll take years to make it regrow. In his native tongue, he prayed for the fallen allies. He want to end his life immediately, but definitely not before he could understand anything that pulled him here. He'd rather to die with friends rather than dying here along in place he never know what...

"...Um... anybody here?" he tried to call out anyone that might be nearby.

Her question wasn't completely answered, even so its non-importance to her now.

The boy who was fainted to ground was brought into Lucian's ship, she just followed them.

As they went inside and had the boy on the bed, both Lucian and the Teruine woman discussed on something then looked her Arshei.

"?" she wondered why, is there something on her face. No, the woman told her that she'll email Arshei for more specifications and she could either follow them or leave.

"I'll just leave for now..." She choose the latter, knowing that there's nothing much she would do here. She didn't want any unnecessary relationship for now until she gets used to this place, or with all the people she just lost, she didn't want anyone get close to her. Before she was about to leave, the boy moaned. She looked at him. The boy must have faced many hardship as hers, but to her, its none of her concern. All the lives that was wiped out in front of her, the lives she took for survival, she had to deal it with a straight fact. Those days within the white chamber gave her a chance to think about. She had no one to cry about. Even her parents who we're no longer here, she felt empty, she didn't even cry about their deaths, even if she loves them, there was no sadness, no grief, no remorse. Just emptiness. She only felt glad that she didn't need to kill them just or her own survival.

As no one was there at her side that fact harshly and close her heart, avoiding any unnecessary relation, something she had been lacking to start with. The song was the only thing beside her, the song that was sung to her by her true mother. The parents that was with her all these years were only her adopt parents. A real mother died long ago, trying to save her from her terrible father.

She had enough remembering all this past events, she looked away and headed towards the exit, leaving everyone who she has been temporarily following. She activated her COMMON, several menu's appeared right in front of her, merged with reality that was before. She then picked options that would show directions toward her apartment and headed towards it without much delay. She has experience using these type of things in her home-world before but those were goggles and even finding them was hard.

"I'll just leave for now..." the young teenage girl decided.

"Alright. I'll try and drop on by later and check up on you. Have a safe trip to your place," the Teruie woman sounded like a mother for a moment.

Turning back to Lucian and the barely conscious Lyan, the Teruie accepts Lucian's offer and the three and the two guards carrying Lyan head over to his spaceship. The guards felt rather nervous, wondering if some death trap would kill them right then and there.

"Relax, there's only an alarm on this thing. No hidden turrets onboard," Lucian tried to reassure them.

Walking up the ramp and down the corridor, Lucian gives them a tour through the one-man kitchen and utility room to the infirmary. In reality, the infirmary was just a larger sized bathroom that sported a table and a curtain, in the event Lucian takes an exotic creature onboard for travel.

"So...messy," the lady commented in slight distaste of dirty stains on the sink and shower.

"Eh...sorry about that. I wasn't expecting company," Lucian rubs the back of his neck. "You can set the kid on that table over there."

The two guards set him down as instructed. He kept on moaning here and there.

"So...What did you want to learn from me?" Lucian inquired.

"We took a scan on your other bracelet, and realized that you're storing a suit of armor that's rather similar to ours. Are you a Mechagear pilot?"

"Mechagear? Oh, we call ours Mechamuse, from an old Anime series."

"U-um, Anime?" Quizzical was the lady on her own home turf.

"N-never mind."

"May we study it? One of my friends is a researcher and commented about adding a Chorien Vita crystal into your suit."

Lucian leans against the glass shower door, crossing his arms.

"Whoa, what's a Chorien Vita crystal?"

Walking up to him, she crosses her legs as she closes in and stops right in front of him. Feeling rather embarrassed for hitting the 90 yard marker, Lucian slightly gulped as she continued.

"It's a uncommon mineral in our world that gives the gift of self-evolution to things, like weapons, armor, even Mechagear suits. These crystals can even generate resonates."

"They're basically Psyonic," Lucian shifts some distance away, looking into the sink wall mirror.

The Teruie woman can be seen entering into the mirror's reflection, walking towards him again.

"Exactly."

"And what would you think would happen if I let you experiment with my suit?" Lucian was skeptical of letting it go, even for a day.

"Milli, sorry, I forgot to introduce myself," Milli takes a hold of his hand with hers. "My friend believes he can get your suit to self-evolve as well and see how it will serve you while you're here. Just an afternoon for the process. Please?"

Looking into her eyes, Lucian knew that she was just playing up on his emotions for taking care of a task assigned to her. But damn, was she looking rather cute right now. In the end, he gave in.

"Alright, fine, fine. I expect payment for you guys tinkering with my equipment."

"It's a deal," squeezing his hand firmly, she releases him and smiles like a little child who won the game. "Maybe when you settle in more, I'd like to know more about your spaceship and your homeworld."

"Sure, sure. Later, ok?"

She simply nodded.

12:02pm

It was already noon, she was dumbfounded to see the blue sky, something which she did not know of its existence due to her world origin. She looked at the blue sky then towards the glaring sun. The sunlight blinded her eyes, she has never seen the sun to be this close. Its like she was revived once again in a paradise to see such thing. She was awed by it for a moment then realized she needs to move on, sitting here won't do anything for her survival. Being alive in reality means its possible to die as well.

She closed her COMMON, memorizing what she needs to know where she has to head. She headed towards the so called tram which only takes several step.

As she reaches to the Tram, she was not sure what to do. There was someone wearing certain official clothes, she's not sure whether the person was the right person to ask, but there's no one here other than her and other officers. Since during her stay within the facility, they thought her about this world's cultural common sense within her, so its kinda easy to figure out what to do next, however in reality, she still feel's awkward to do it. Even so she didn't have much choice. She headed towards the counter.

"...He-hello, I-I was just released from the facility..." she showed her ID, that was given to her before she left the facility. Was she doing the correct thing? She wasn't sure. Talking at a peaceful times with other people was something she hadn't done for a long time. The only time that was peace was when she was with her adopt parents, even that had chaotic situations due to its environment. Though she was just talking to the receptionist so it couldn't be any much more problem then that, she is probably over thinking.

"Well hello there Ms. Arshei," the male receptionist began, using his COMMON notices a bubble tag already on Arshei. "Just take the tram train that's behind you a little ways, and please make sure to buy transportation passes at a convenient store near you if you wish to travel around, or perhaps work in town. Anything else I can do for you today?"

Smiling, the receptionist in his clean and well-groomed suit and hat gently hands Arshei a temporary ticket and pointed beyond her towards the awaiting train.

"No...its...fine" She took the ticket the blue shirt receptionist given to her. The man pointed the tram for her to go her, before she headed to the Tram. She noticed something on the wall, a map, seems to be a map where the train could travel. She investigated the map, and noticed one thing that caught her attention. "Ar...Near?
She isn't sure why she is interested with the name, but she felt as if something similar, something which she had forgotten. Her voice was slow but it was enough for the receptionist to hear.

She felt like asking the receptionist what it is. "What is Ar Near?"

"Hm? Oh, the old tales speak of the tower in the middle of the Mokavian Ocean. I happen to have this picture. It's 2 years old, but here, you can have it," the receptionist pulled out of his personal copies and handed it to Arshei.

"They say the researchers in that expedition and many others before and after them still can't find the door into the tower. A mystery set by the goddess some priests thinks. The only thing solved is the plaque you see in that photo written in Hymmnos, "Ar near." Ocean mists can get pretty intense, so traveling to it with proper gear is just plain dangerous. My uncle was the one who took that photo, actually."

Feeling a little proud of that fact, the receptionist waved to another staff member going to get onto the tram train.

Arshei took the image without a word and looked on it. It is an image displaying a tower within a wormeye view. The tower shown to be stretching towards to the sky as if it has breached the space itself.

She took note that the receptionist mentioned that traveling there without any preparations could be quite difficult. She decided to delay her wish to travel towards the tower and decided to got to her newly mentioned apartment instead.

"Thanks for the photo.....", after giving her gratitude she then left for the Tram the leads to the route of her apartment. The tram only takes a short while, even so she decides to take a sit.

Enjoying the pleasant view in a small forest preserve, still about 20 minutes away from her apartment via COMMON's map details. All there's left to traverse is the neighboring residential sector that begins and the Shooma Recreational Park. She could hear some of the woodland creatures going about their day, and the sounds of local traffic and people chattering as they move about in the near distance. Even with the thicket of tree canopies, light was a bit damp with some of the towering buildings behind her she'd pasted a while ago.

Gazing, the woodland sounds had gone silent. A flock of birds had sprouted out of the trees and fled towards the crowd outside the small forest preserve. A branch on the ground behind her broke. Seeing what it is, she couldn't have been more surprised to see this creature, or was she surprised?

A werewolf-like creature with golden hues had made the mistake and made that noise, with a black cloth sack for abducting people and rope. Cursing underneath his breath, he lunged forward towards Arshei, claw bared out for a slash across her chest, muffing his warcry.

-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

"...Um... anybody here?" Lyan tried to call out to anyone that might be nearby.

Arshei had already left, leaving Milli and Lucian to go back to the examination table to check up on the boy who collapsed in the tank hanger bay.

"How do you feel?" Milli asked him.

Apparently he's in same hand (same group that took care of him when he's in catatonic state) like before. The tan skinned woman questioned about his condition. Although his face obviously like a typhoon had hit his house and everything, leaving him alone, answering this woman with white lies would be better than to be sent to his "room". Or maybe that "jail" would be better term?

"Much... better, I think... Sorry to pass out in front of you." Lyan apologetically bowed. "...This may sound morbid, but... do you still have have...uh... the arm that I'm holding on when I'm arrived here...? If...you can, I'd like you to cremate it and give me the ash... She...she's a very important person to me... please... I don't care if you only still have the finger or anything... please... let me have her part with me."

After riding the tram, she reached and traversed through a residential area, she remembered that the receptionist back at the Tram station mentioned about getting a transportation passes at a convenient store. But does she really need one right now?

Though better safe then nothing, she decided buy one. Entering through the convenient store she spotted a while ago, she went straight to the reception desk.

"I-Is there any transportation pass here? I was told I need one."

As soon as she's done, she leaves the residential area as there was nothing there she needed to do for now and headed towards the woodlands that was directed to her from her COMMON. The greenery was as usual as it was, albeit a bit more thicker. Animals of the forest are making loud noises, but that doesn't bother her at all.

Just as she was about to enjoy the scenery, the woodland suddenly went quiet, flock of birds spread, as if trying to flee from something. Something is wrong, but she knows it. She felt a murderous presence. "SNAP", as soon as she heard that, she turned her head to the direction where the sound came from.

A werewolf, suddenly flew towards her with his bareclaws, she certainly did not know what that thing is as she never knew such a being, but the thing bearing hostile is enough for her to be cautious and less surprised with its engaging appearance.

She quickly evaded by leaning backwards, letting herself fall to the ground. As she's about to reach the ground, she uses her left hand to stop herself from hitting the ground. The wolf's hand would eventually pass above her right now. As she is still at low ground level at the height of the wolf's knee, she does a light kick to its leg while she's at it, that would probably be enough to get the wolf to lose its balance and fall.

"Hello, and welcome miss," the store clerk began to say. "All transportation passes are digital-based, so there's no need to worry about them being out of stock."

Smiling the clerk continued.

"We have the Metro bus pass that allows you to ride around the residential areas and to local government institutions, like schools. With a Tram Train Pass, if you want to work or travel...hmmm...."

For a few moments, the store clerk uses his COMMON to see the tags placed on Arshei.

"...I see. Normally we don't allow minors to work so young, but since you're an off-worlder, you've been given a working permit to apply for work in this city and travel outside without adult supervision."

The clerk swipes his hand over the counter to activate a screen showing a digital visual of each pass. The price for the Metro Bus Pass is 300 Leafs, while the Tram Train Pass is 800 Leafs.

"If you would like to purchase one, please use your index finger and poke at the pass that you would like to purchase, and the store's computer will upload to the central government mainframe to update your COMMON. Any Metro Station staff when using their COMMONs to see your pass will notice right away and let you on."

Making her decision, she made her way through a small forest preserve, filled with thicker greenery. Having her enjoyment of freedom ruined with silence, a branch snapped. Turning her head around, she met her first werewolf. Brown furred with golden eyes, he lunged out. Arshei evaded with relative ease and countered with a light kick to its leg. The werewolf was caught surprised from move and fell, dropping his sack and rope.

Getting back up, the wolf stared intently at Arshei.

"What manner of a Himick are you? I shouldn't have problems capturing little girls like you," the wolf grumbled.

Having leaned up on the examination table, Lyan gave an apologetic request. Bow and all.

Lucian was confused as to what was going on, but Milli knew what he had meant. When found, the patrol had confiscated the arm, which lab results concluded was a female arm who's owner was a bit older than Lyan. That was the only information Milli was parted with.

"As you wish. We will deliver the ashes to your apartment later," Milli promises.

"If you're feeling better, can you guys wait for me outside. I'd like to grab some stuff," Lucian was a bit impatient to try a few things.

"If you would please lend me your Mechagear first?"

Lucian secretly had hoped she'd forgot, but soon gave her his bracelet. He received a smile from her and she left.

Lucian walks to the cockpit, trying to hail Earth back...no dice. Damn. Walking back to his sleeping quarter, he grabs some trinkets and other gear to take to his newly furbished apartment he was promised by these government officials. With a military issued sack over his arm, he heads out.

After getting out the ship, Lyan turned to Milli. "Um, pardon, Miss...? Would you please hear my selfish request? I know this is not much, but... Can I do something for you? Anything, as long as you also make a custom necklace to fit the ashes... Um... I bet I don't have enough money, and I know my currency would looks like some beads for you, but... If you don't mind, please accept it."

Lyan, still broken, only wish to stay together with his deceased significant other. The way is to carry her remnant is to order it. "...Also, next, please instruct me of what to do. I'm sorry I'm not paying attention back then. But you see, I'm just not in state to..." he laughed nervously, trying to dismiss it. "Plus I'll need money to buy new stuffs. The leftovers of my world is not durable in here."

Hearing the clerks explanation, she's not really interested in part-time jobs for now though its something she will decide later. For now, transportation seems to be important to get anywhere, thus she decided buy both the Metro Bus and the Tram Bus, costing at a total of 1100 Leaf.

-------------------------------------

Her first hostile encounter after several weeks is a werewolf, who is at the moment facing the ground, tripped by Arshei's light kick. Arshei quickly gets up and faces the hostile before it could do anything.

"What manner of a Himick are you? I shouldn't have problems capturing little girls like you," the wolf grumbled.

Himick? She had no idea what does it mean but one thing for sure the wolf was attempting to kidnap her for whatever reason. She was being reminded herself as a little girl, back in her homeworld there was no much difference between a child and an adult. Everyone fights to survive.

"....Who knows, maybe you got the wrong girl to pick on?"

Arshei made a short remark, its not even worth explaining to a hostile about herself, whose reason is simple enough, to threaten her survival no matter who she is. She quickly took out her dagger from her bag which the facility back there was kind enough to prepared for her, probably expecting that there may be threat such as this. Her eye's gazed towards the wolf, trying to predict whatever move the wolf would make. Other than that, she just stands there silently, holding a dagger with her right hand, not preparing any stance at all.

The werewolf knew she was mouthing off at him, which irritated him. He really wanted to rip her throat out and silence such filthy insult. But he knew better than that. He's not stupid like some others in his clan. Growling in an even lower tone, the creature takes a couple steps back, partly hidden behind the bush.

"You're not worth the trouble. You Logomians will burn for killing the goddess' creations. Mark my words."

And making a better exit, the werewolf fled to wherever it came from. It was still rather silent, but one of the birds had come back, chirping.

"Hm, what is it?"

Milli listens to Lyan's emotional request, only to look at the odd currency he's giving her for a custom made necklace. It would be rude of her to refuse the request, as obviously this person he cares for had died very recently. She didn't need a lab result to tell her that. Then again, the museum would be interested in alien cultural artifacts, so there can be worth to these beads.

Accepting Lyan's homeworld currency, Milli clasped her hands together with Lyans.

"I can tell this person means very much to you. I'll tell you what, I'll do a currency exchange and add the money into your account. Talk to a Miro at the Ratched Customs if you want a necklace customized for the ashes to be placed into. Don't worry about the cost, I'll ask her to give you a good discount. Sorry for the loop around though, but I'm afraid we don't know what your ash burial rituals are and don't wish to make the necklace ourselves and offend you."

Releasing her hands over his, she simply gave a soft smile of honesty.

"I guarantee my friend Miro will follow your specific requests to the letter in getting it right."

When asked of what he should be doing, Milli could only cup her chin with her hand. She even wondered what her superiors would want him to be doing? Its not like she's a missions operator or anything. Heck, she's just a Cultural Historian with some military training. The way he nervously laughed worried her. He's trying too hard, but what would he consider to be normalcy? Oh wait, yes, that...!

"If I recall from your profile you submitted a while ago, you identified yourself as an Adept class. What does an Adept do?"

The beads and the information should help him get some money, though getting good gear still would take him a little while. Maybe she can ask the Temporal Warden on how to handle this guy's sense of purpose issue. Milli listens to what Lyan has to say.

"What am I missing?" Came Lucian's voice as he came out and down the ramp of his space craft.

With a sack hunched over his arm, you'd think he was carrying a small child in it.

"Err...don't worry about it. Actually, what's your class?"

"You're not worth the trouble. You Logomians will burn for killing the goddess' creations. Mark my words."

Says the wolf before making his move and fled to wherever he came from.

A moment passed, she didn't sensed him anymore. Birds which left a while ago made its way back again and make sounds.

What was that all about, the wolf attacked her and, saying nonsical and then left. Knowing that there's no threat she put her dagger inside the bag.

Whatever that thing is, she's not even interested with it anymore. But there was something she's interested in.

"You Logomians will burn for killing the goddess' creations. "

The mention of a goddess. Was it the same goddess of Ar Near that was mentioned by the receptionist at the tram station. She wasn't sure. But based on what that wolf said, this world had some sort of conflict as well. Whatever conflict it is Arshei wasn't that interested, conflicts are always existent, even trying to survive. Arshei thought of going to where Ar Near is since she now has a transportation pass, but for now she should continue head towards the apartment, which is outside of this greenery.
