Taking ladies by storm since March!
~~The Beginning~~

"I believe it is time we create our own planet. With it, our children." --Fayel, Lord of Flames

There, in a land where no normal human could enter sat 12 Thrones of Light. Sitting on those Thrones were gods. They all decided by vote that there would be an "Earth." The gods created the Earth and it's florid trees, brim with nourishment. They made the animals (humans included), the laws, imparted humans and certain breeds of animals with magic, and the natural elements that don't apply to magic. They saw what they made and nodded that what they have done would help them conquer their boredom. One, however, looked distastefully at their work. He cried, "Thou hast made men and beast, yet in yonder I see but a small sliver of other races." The gods pondered and eventually created elves and orcs and other races, save for the Valkyrie and Zelkin. This made the one god happy with the work, now.

~~Valkena and Zelch~~

"Look at humanity's growth, Zelch. Do you not believe that we should bless humanity itself with our qualities, so that they are more like us?" -- Valkena

As 3 years passed, the human race expanded to a state that was remarkable. It was then when Valkena and Zelch decided to bless humanity. It was there when Valkyries and Zelkin were made. While the Valkyrie had wings and the grace of Valkena, Zelkin had the strength and Pyroplane of Zelch. They contrasted with each other, and were rivals to both. While Valkena looked at what she had done questionably, Zelch looked at the turn of events with approval. It sparked his mind, and Zelch had made an arena for souls to fight with each other. It was meant as amusement for the gods, and the other gods deemed it just fine.

~~Growth of the 5 Factions~~

"Nature's throwing it's bullets. We need a civilization, stocked with shelter." -Marquin, The First King of Jenill

Many disasters have plagued Earth at times, some for the gods to blame, and some just out of nature. A group of humans have created the first Kingdom after centuries, starting off as a shelter. The Kingdom would come to be named Jenill, and it would be one of the most powerful kingdoms ever. It had a leader, the one who led the effort, named Marquin. As years passed, it grew more and more, outclassing the kingdoms around it.

The other kingdom was the average and law-based Relivia, which formed for almost the same reason as Jenill. It required shelter, order, and stability. They worked until they formed a weaker kingdom. Being in workable soil helped crop grow and made it easy for trade to take place, which helped it stabilize to form into a working kingdom.

If we're talking about shelter, then ooh boy, let's not start with Hemmit. It had harsh cold and crop was barely able to grow. They needed that shelter more than Relivia and Jenill did. In fact, Jenill was the first kingdom created, but Hemmit was the second kingdom to follow. The only reason why it isn't almost standing up to Jenill was because the weather didn't allow it to be. They hold the stone of Erkni, though, which is pretty much a sacred relic.

The War-Based Verithan and the Serpent Kingdom Grafold formed their own culture for their own reasons, not exactly because they needed it at that time. They formed it because it was convenient for them to do so. It was convenient to hold a force. Grafold and Verithan had successful trade, though not many look at Verithan with eyes of trust, due to their being a land where "Vergil" is pretty much idolized. As for Grafold, the serpents are terrifying.

~~The Corruption~~

"Disaster unravels before the world. Humanity's Ambition is going to end this world if we do not counter this problem.." -Luce, Lord of Radiance

Something unexpected had happened that the gods have not intended. Humans were corrupt, and have done what they could to fuel their own ambition, be they war or any other thing. This angered the gods, making them regret what they had done. This corruption welled up in the Underworld of Alkos, eventually forming into one being of incredible corruption. That being would be known as Vergil, and he would be the strongest inhabitant of Alkos, ruling over it as a King would. The gods did not destroy Earth, though they took countermeasures to protect Earth from any further disasters. It was then that they formed the 4 great guardians.

The 4 great guardians were considered heroes, and they were all notable in both strength and magical ability. One of them was Medius, a human. He could create non-living items from raw mana. Alouzen, the Guardian of Fortitude, was a valkyrie. Her fragile bones were less of a problem, though. When she had sufficient mana pool, she had greater endurance than any other valkyrie (worthy of S+). Jelsa was the Guardian of the Mind, an Elf. She had incredible magical resistance and magical capability, even immune to the transformation caused by darkness (Dark Elf). The other was another human, Hathes, Guardian of Poetry. His abilities weren't apparent, until he used an instrument. He was a master in all types of instruments, and had the unique ability to control someone while playing said instrument (restricted to emotions..depends on the tone of music).

~~Ungodly Betrayal~~

"Earth is falling apart, the 4 Guardians and their generations to come will serve only as trash. It is not worth existing." -- Aesop, during his defection.

Sat on one throne was a god, named Aesop. This throne began dwindling light, arousing suspicion. He had green hair paired with matching eyes and wore golden, holy armor on all but his upper body. He spoke of the mana beings (think Elementals with a different name) and what getting all 7 would achieve. The gods helped him find 7 mana beings of all 7 normally-available elements, making him one of the gods with the most magical ability, also unlocking the elemental applications of Gravity. It was then that his true ambition was revealed. He wanted to destroy Earth rather than let it linger, dubbing it a failure. He would use gravity to end it. The gods could not kill him as he was, but combined their powers to turn him into a human. His once holy armor was now silver, and less worthy of praise. His magical ability was reduced and he was now mortal.

As he could not destroy Earth now easily, he used his legendary weapon, a handle that could take on all 7 elements as it's blade/rope/whip, making it incredible destructive for someone of his magical ability. During Aesop's years, he had crossed blades various times with the Guardian of Creation, Medius. These battles tended to end in Aesop's victory, though not without a fight. Medius was a very strong combatant, even for him. After the 3rd battle with Medius, he had finally figured it out. If he used gravity and absorbed the mana planes themselves, the Earth would slowly lose mana and die. This plan was abruptly stopped by Medius, who was given Infinite Mana by the gods. Aesop ended up being destroyed by Medius' sheer capacity of mana, as it allowed him to be infinitely empowered by his stat-boosting transformation (Destroying the Boundaries:: Calling of the Magic Beast, which allows him to not need mana planes to transform, although utilizes his own mana.)

~~The Aftermath~~

"Hah. Never felt so solemn about my surroundings. Surely it must be knowledge of my death..makes me look at life differently. Those gods should have left that to themselves. I don't think anyone wants to hear about when they're about to kick the bucket." --Medius, talking to himself as he travels to the dangerous land where he intends to place Revilion.

After Medius' victory, he was given 3 days until his required death. The reason for his death was because he could not stay with that mana and roam. Sheer infinity was incredibly harmful. Medius went out, almost convinced that he would not need to draw Revilion ever again. He entered his own ship, called Aigle. He met his child as a baby, and left it to fate that he would live on. On the last day, he went into a distant island, notorious for having dragons and other incredibly dangerous monsters. There was an ever-present storm, with plenty of tornadoes, only ceasing at 2PM to 8PM. The island itself was a place where no man could survive, Medius managing to do so because he had the mana and skill to destroy the dangers. The monsters always formed back, though, just 3 hours later.

Medius entered the cave, looking at the ground. He closed his eyes, thinking it was a safe spot. He opened his blue eyes, as he gave infinite mana to Revilion, making it a weapon that no longer needed mana to function, but one incredibly dangerous in the wrong hands. Only half of Revilion's blade was visible as it was sunk in the ground. Medius had started thinking. He had come there by airship, so he checked up on his men. He repelled them by commands, resulting in the ship leaving him there. He spent his last day in the cave where Revilion was kept. He closed his eyes solemnly as his body lost it's strength. And so, on the third day, he had died.

~~PRESENT~~

Now is the time we have now. Magic and Technology are not distances apart, and you can still say medieval weaponry isn't gone. The factions are still at peace, but it doesn't mean that war can't be sparked. Conflicts may arise at any moment, and you're basically now a part of present time. You're whatever you decide to be, so long as it fits. Guns that aren't Automatic exist (pretty much handguns and non-automatic rifles), and some technology exists (such as mini robot golems or something like so, as well as knowledge of medicine that actually works and functions well.)

Will you be regarded as a villain, praised as a hero, or be neutral? Or, if not any of these regular terms, just be anything you want, not even regarded as something special if you wish. Not like possibilities for anything else aren't there. Now, you draw the rest of the story. So here's how it works. If something impressive happens, I'll put it here. Otherwise, don't whine.

So, good luck, have fun, and just make sure to be lucky. Or, failing that, don't make ridiculous things.

(Everything after this is simply important things jotted down.)
