Personnel Files - Battlegroup 443 / 443rd Assault Corps / 443 Fighter Group - Republic Military

Admiral Darael Hollinger
  • Human Male From Cuitric
  • Admiral Hollinger is the Commanding Officer of Battlegroup 443, ultimately responsible as well for the 443rd Assault Corps and 443 Fighter Group as well. He was selected due to his prior service with the Sector Fleet assigned to Cuitric prior to the war, where he performed quite well against pirate and criminal groups in the regions near Wild Space. He is also a graduate of the Mrlsst Military Academy, attending it as part of a Republic Navy program early in his career, and therefore has some familiarity with the region. This prompted his selection to command Battlegroup 443.
  • Hollinger's temperament is largely dictated by his situation, but overall, he is calm and friendly. He has accepted both the Jedi and clones as integral parts of the Fleet, and has not had any reported issues with either since the war began. He does not appear to have any feelings, positive or negative, towards the Separatists.

Jedi General Alysia Rigel
  • Human Female from Chandrilla
  • Master Rigel is a Jedi Consular who has been selected to serve Battlegroup 443 as the Jedi Council's primary representative and commander. Her service with the Jedi has largely been focused as a healer on worlds suffering from catastrophic disasters as well as negotiations between rival factions, and little in the way of combat. Due to the intricate nature of the Tapani Sector "houses", Master Rigel's negotiation skills were deemed crucial towards improving relations with the local governments, as they tend to govern themselves and do not always accept Republic or Jedi sovereignty.
  • Alysia Rigel is quiet but has a powerful presence. She tries to see all angles in a situation, and has been noted of despairing at the cost of life already inflicted by the war. Her mastery of the Force is strong, and while she is considered "average" with a lightsaber, her powers off-set that greatly.

Marshal Commander CC-8492 "Blaze"
  • Human Male from Kamino (Clone)
  • Marshal Commander CC-8492 is the commanding officer of the 443rd Assault Corps, and is the ranking clone officer in Battlegroup 443. He was among the commanders who were trained specifically by ARC Alpha-17, and has proven to be an aggressive commander. His nickname, "Blaze", was acquired during the Battle of Geonosis, where he personally led a squad of troopers armed only with flame projectors to clear out a Geonosian held position. While his skills are not in question, Command has expressed concerns that CC-8492 may end up expending forces rapidly in the early stages of the Tapani Campaign.
  • CC-8492 has a good working relationship with the clones under his command, but so far, seems to be slow to accept non-clone officers and Jedi. He has not had any cases of insubordination, but non-clones and Jedi have remarked that he is rather blunt and curt in his dealings with them.

Group Captain Mira Pelles
  • Human Female from Corellia
  • Group Captain Pelles is a transfer to Republic Starfighter Corps from Corellian Security Forces, and is the commanding officer of the 443 Fighter Group. Her service with CorSec Tactical Response Aviation is highly regarded, though it has been reported unusual that a Corellian has volunteered to fight for the Republic, in light of Corellia's neutrality. Regardless, she has proven to be very proficient in just about every fighter craft available to 443 Fighter Group, and has already logged combat hours against Separatist fighters in several small skirmishes.
  • Mira Pelles is noted as being "cocky", many attributing that to "typical fighter pilot mentality", but has also established a rapport with the clones and Jedi serving with her. There is also the additional note that she seems to harbor some sort of grudge towards the Separatists, but what that is has yet to be known.

Commodore Firmus Veir
  • Human Male from Lianna
  • Commodore Veir is the commander of Squadron 108, which is responsible for Battlegroup 443's heavy combat vessels and assault craft. Originally a commander with the Tion Sector Fleet, he was transferred to Battlegroup 443 at the personal request of Admiral Hollinger, as the two apparently share a history. He has proven to be a competent commander who employs various tactics as required.
  • Firmus Veir is a man who does not see defeat as a failure but as room for improvement, a rare trait in military commanders. However, he has yet to warm to the idea of using clones, but has so far had no complaints against the Jedi.

Jedi General Neza Chanden
  • Human Female from Telos IV
  • Jedi Knight Chanden is a Guardian who has been assigned to the 443rd Assault Corps as the ranking Jedi. She has a wide variety of combat skills, surprisingly for a Jedi, as she has accepted training from security forces, guerrilla movements, and has now been learning from the clone forces as well. This has left her quite useful in combat situations, where she prefers to lead from the front, and both Command and the Jedi Council have noted that this should be useful if the Tapani Campaign cannot be swiftly resolved.
  • Neza Chanden has hit it off quite well with Republic military personnel, for the most part, with only CC-8492 having yet to work with her on friendly terms. Her willingness to learn new combat skills sets her apart from many Jedi, and she has already begun to earn the respect of the clones serving under her.

Senior Commander CC-2020 "Pazzak"
  • Human Male from Kamino (Clone)
  • CC-2020 is the senior ranking clone with the 443 Fighter Group, and is also the Air Group Commander aboard the Star Destroyer Cipher. He is a fully trained clone pilot who has also been trained as a commander in the ARC program, and has proven to be skilled in the cockpit of every fighter currently in Republic service. His nickname "Pazzak" was earned as he seems to enjoy the card game under the same name, both as a recreation means with his fellow pilots, but also his ID number is a repetition of the number 20, considered the ideal numerical number to reach in the game. He has reasoned that this builds his hand-eye coordination and improves his reflexes in the cockpit.
  • CC-2020 is unusually laid back for a clone commander, which is not to say that he is lax or sloppy in his work, but rather that he tends to be very casual off-duty with non-clone personnel and Jedi, to the point that he has already started hosting regular card games with Group Captain Pelles and Jedi General Clabar. It is currently unknown where CC-2020 developed this attitude or affection for gambling, although it is suggested that one of the instructors on Kamino may have been responsible for giving him a deck of cards and set of chips to play with, possibly as a training aid and gift.

Jedi General Clabar
  • Mon Calamari Male from Mon Calamari
  • Jedi Knight Clabar is a Jedi Ace who is assigned to the 443 Fighter Group as the ranking Jedi. While he has trained under several noteworthy Jedi pilots, such as Master Adi Gallia, he has only seen limited combat experience since the war broke out, and lacks practical experience. His skill in flight is still quite good, combining both a natural affinity for piloting and his Force abilities into a potent mix, but has a good deal still to learn.
  • Clabar does feel out of place in 443 Fighter Group, but he has become regarded almost like a sibling to Group Captain Pelles and CC-2020 has been giving him help from his experiences as a clone pilot. As a result, while Clabar is inexperienced, he is quite friendly and personable with non-Jedi personnel.
