Name: Eamon Roche Age: 37 Gender: Male Faction: Military Appearance: Eamon is reaching the halfway point of his life, so his body is beginning to change to show that. He has a fairly sharp face, with a somewhat pointed nose, thick eyebrows, and brown eyes. His black hair is kept short due to his military position, so it sticks up in the front a bit while being really short on the sides. Physically, Eamon is in pretty good shape. He's about 5'11” and weighs about 175 pounds, most of which is muscle from military training. He has broad shoulders and thick legs, making him look very large, especially compared to his wife. Most of the time, Eamon can be found in his military uniform, whether it is his daily uniform or ceremonial outfit. When he is not involved in the military, his clothing tends to be a bit more casual, with polo shirts and khaki pants. He does have a few large t-shirts to wear for more relaxed environments. Biography: Eamon Roche was the fourth of five children in the Roche household and the only male child. His parents, Rudy and Millicent, were an electrician and a hairstylist, respectively. Eamon has four sisters, Sheila (thirteen years older than him), Katherine (eleven years older than him), Kasey (seven years older than him), and Karen (one year younger than him), all of whom are living in other places around the country. Being the only boy in the Roche household, Eamon really appreciated time spent with his dad and other boys. Eamon was always excited to get involved in sports and other physical activities, such as football, buck hunting, and wrestling. After graduating high school, Eamon decided to enlist in the army to pay his way through college. He did his duty, and graduated with a degree in Mechanical Engineering. He moved to Brockton because the local military base would give him a job while he looked for work in the city. However, he found that he was more interested in serving the military than being a repairman, so he stuck with the military. When he was 25, William J. Hillsbourough Memorial School held a pageant for the soldiers of the base. While he was there, he ran into a young teacher named Marlena Carrigan. They had a nice time, and he asked her out. They dated for a year and a half, and Eamon decided to make Marlena his wife. They married and began building a family. They would have three children, Adele, Noah, and Talia. Due to the stress of having three young children, Marlena's mother Juliet moved in with them to help take care of the kids. Eamon had a fairly good relationship with Juliet, although he would get annoyed if she would ever doubt his ability to be a parent. But Eamon loved his children. He made plans to take Noah hunting when Noah was older, and was always there to dote on his daughters. Eamon's military career was also beginning to improve. After having a fairly menial position, Eamon was finally promoted to Captain. This gave him a bit more money and allowed him to provide more for his family. However, the downside to this was that Eamon's new work called for him to go overseas a lot. Eamon would be shipped to places like Paris, Rotterdam, and Baghdad for various jobs. He hated being away from his wife and children, but he knew that he had to provide for them, and they understood that he really cared about them. While in Baghdad, Eamon received a call informing him that Juliet had died in the night. He was deeply saddened, but wouldn't be able to leave due to his tour of duty keeping him in Iraq. A few days later, Marlena called him and told him that their children were being hospitalized due to some strange illness. Eamon desperately tried to put in a request to transfer back to Brockton, but complications prevented him from leaving as soon as he hoped. Finally, Eamon received the worst messages of his life. His children had all died in the hospital, and now Marlena was in the hospital. Eamon's transfer request was finally admitted, but he wouldn't be able to go to the funerals for his children. When Eamon returned to Brockton, he learned that the city had been quarantined. Eamon also learned that his wife was still in the city and never tried to exit the city. Eamon tried to find her, but he found that Marlena had completely cut him off, leaving their home and not responding to any calls he made to her cell phone. Presently, Eamon has been stuck outside of Brockton. He has had to aid in the dealings of sending supplies into the city and processing the citizens. He still has no idea where Marlena is and is determined to listen in on any reports involving citizens still within the city. Powers: Eamon does not have any superpowers due to being away from Brockton during the Riverside Incident. However, being trained in the military, he does have proficiency in firearms and hand to hand combat. Starting Belongings: Unfortunately, Eamon does not have a whole lot with him. He has most of the standard gear the military gives the soldiers, but not a whole lot of personal items. He found the revolver at home to be missing along with the kitchen knives, so most of his items from home extend to extra clothing and some pictures of his family. Hey there! Eamon looks good for the most part, but there's a few things, story-wise, I need to cover. Now, I know it's been vague up to now so this might be a little of you and a little of me, but Riverside might go a little bit above Eamon's head on the need-to-know basis scale... in particular, the chemicals leaking into the water part. He might be able to make a bit of conjecture (he would know the facility exploded, but the project itself was top-secret, so many soldiers, officers included, were not in the know). Also, how did he learn about Marlena joining the resistance and that she was powered (as the normal way the military determines that is through recon or scanning them at the quarantine border)? I'd say 'patch this up and I'll give it another look' normally, but it seems to me we might have to talk directly to work out those details. This game IS still a work in progress and fairly non-standard, so kinks are evident. We'll just sorta find them as we go. |

Well, I edited it to try and make sense of how much Eamon can know, so hopefully that works. |

This is much more workable. Accepted. |
