Name: Nicholas "Nick" Cox
Age: 19
Gender: Male
Faction: Civilian

Appearance:
Nick is a fairly average-looking white young man. His oval-shaped face is accompanied by a sharp nose, low cheekbones, round brown eyes, and a cleft in his chin. He is of average height and build, standing at around 5'9" and weighs about 164 pounds with proportionate fat and muscle. His dirty blond hair is styled into an un-parted Ivy League cut.

Nick dresses in a somewhat casual style. He usually wears a short-sleeve button-up shirt, or hoodies pending on the weather; blue jeans; and gym shoes. Nick also wears his adoptive father's silver Rolex watch as a reminder of him, although it stopped telling time long ago.

Biography: Nick was born in Brockton, although he never knew his parents. From a premade arrangement because of social connections, he was adopted by Frank and Sarah Cox, a watch repairman and a middle school geography teacher slowly approaching their twilight years. All the information he ever got about his biological parents was that he was born from an adulterous relationship.

From an early age, Nick was very extroverted and active. He loved to spend his time outside playing sports with the other neighborhood kids. He especially took a knack for baseball, so he would play that whenever he had the chance.

In school, Nick was never one of the top students. He could only get by with B's and C's, although he was honestly more interested in sports than academics. However, he was active in several extracurricular activities like the baseball team. As he liked to be social, he had amassed a somewhat large circle of friends and acquaintances. However, the life he knew was doomed to crash.

Someday after the Riverside incident, Sarah collapsed and was taken to the hospital where she was pronounced dead a few hours later. Shortly thereafter, Frank also fell ill and was admitted; on his deathbed, he gave Nick his watch, and a few hours later he joined his wife. Unsure of what to do now, Nick went home.

It was that night when Nick discovered his new power. While lying on his bed in his room, he had a sudden intense pain in his head, almost like a migraine that appeared out of nowhere. Fighting with this pain, a vision flashed in his eyes of hands washing in a sink, complete with the sound of rushing water. Almost as soon as it started, the pain disappeared as his vision returned to normal. With courage, Nick tried to focus his again mind and was able to pull up another vision – it was the same room he saw before, except now he was "walking" around. Nick focused even harder, and his vision switched to a first-person view of someone throwing up in a toilet. It was then that realized he had some sort of power – he could jump into a nearby person's head and view what they view and hear what they hear. All of his own senses were blocked as he jumped viewpoints.

It was through method that he found out about the military trying to round up all of the people who had developed powers. As he feared being captured or worse, he has chosen to stay inside of the city and has even established a routine of scavenging through abandoned buildings to stay alive in this degenerated society, hoping to avoid any clashes with the dominant groups in Brockton while searching for allies in the process.

Power: Nick has the power of sightjacking. By focusing his mind, he can become a sort of radio of people's eyes, hitching onto their vision and hearing within a 300 feet radius. However, the farther away someone is from Nick, the weaker the signal and the noisier the vision. As he can't use his own senses while channeling someone, he is completely vulnerable in this state.

Starting belongings:
Metal baseball bat, wallet w/ driver's license and $15 in cash

There's quite the delicious drawback to this power. Profile's a little... odd, tonally, given what I'm used to, but I can still take it.
