But in the film adaptation of the 2011 novel by Veronica Roth, Woodley, I am happy to say, is much more recognizably human, and this is true also for his acting too. Her character, Tris, most of the movie learning to jump and throw knives and the risk of death as a tough guy, and when they put these skills to the test fight corrupt leaders in his community, there is no doubt that the upper, a test YA market model, as Katniss in “The Hunger Games“. But it is also, as Woodley plays, a character intensely vulnerable and easily recognizable.![]() Tris, a.k.a Beatrice, grew up as a member of Abnegnation, one of the five factions in a dystopia walled former Chicago and look again, hit a concrete semiruined – play version of the city. Members of Abnegnation dress in light brown dresses simple, such as the Amish, and all puritanical self-sacrifice. The other four factions are learned, Amity, and Dauntless. Beatrice and her colleagues are right – to choose faction for itself. But when the samples to learn what faction they are best suited for, it turns out that in the rare forbidden – category called deviant, in the sense that it is the quality of the three factions at once: Abnegnation – Erudite and Dauntless. It may seem silly to say that illegal because self-sacrifice, brilliant and powerful at the same time, but what it really is forbidden – independent thinking. Woodley, through the delicate strength of his acting, doing something interesting: It shows what a sharp, anxious personality but bold appears when located deep in the form of documents, bookish girl who does not even have gym class. Tris chooses to become part of the Dauntless, not because they have special athletic ability, but because it is his nature to go for broke. The first half of “deviant” is a lean, thrilling bass – thriller training, Tris willing to do things like jump on the train speeding and fought with bare knuckles. Woodley, at every turn, making us feel as if we were in his shoes, not so much discouraged as exciting Dauntless. |
