Here the background story =D
The Serdin and Kanavan Kingdoms, the biggest kingdoms on the Bermesiah Continent, coexisted in peace until their lands were slowly overcome by the evil Queen of Darkness, Kaze’aze.
Kaze’aze managed to infiltrate the Kanavan Kingdom by murdering the Kanavan Queen’s most loyal and trusted retainer, and then disguising herself as him. As a result, Kaze’aze was able to get close to the Queen and entice her with the ways of darkness.
Kaze’aze blinded the Queen of Kanavan’s eyes to truth and led her to wage a five-year war against the Serdin Kingdom. All of Bermesiah Continent was devastated; many heroes fell in battle, and even the Queen of Serdin sacrificed her life in hopes of ending the fighting.
The death of the Queen of Serdin broke Kaze’aze’s hold over the Queen of Kanavan, who, after finally regaining her senses, erupted with fury over Kaze’aze’s treachery. Kaze’aze escaped before the Queen of Kanavan could execute her. This lead the Queen to dispatch Trackers to punish the Queen of Darkness. But after years of searching, she was nowhere to be found and the Queen’s Trackers vanished as well; forcing the Queen of Kanavan to abandon her search.
The Serdin Kingdom experienced a series of bizarre incidents related to Kaze’aze after the Five-Year War: these events revealed that Kaze’aze manipulated the Kanavan and Serdin Kingdoms into fighting each other. The newly appointed Queen of Serdin is now determined to prevent Kaze’aze from starting another war between the two kingdoms for the sake of the entire continent.
The Queen of Serdin has prepared to confront Kaze’aze and counter her evil plans by organizing Grand Chase, an elite corps that will fight for all of Bermesiah.

Elesis:

Elesis is a Kanavan Knight and daughter of a Kanavan Tracker who never returned after he was dispatched to find KazeAze. She is an exceptional swordsman who has been trained by her father since birth. While she is on a journey to find her father, she hears news about Kaze’aze in the Serdin Kingdom. Hiding her true identity, Elesis joins Grand Chase in hopes of finding her father.
CHARACTERISTICS
Elesis is feared by her enemies for her powerful attack skills that instantly wipe out entire groups of monsters. She leads her team at the front line of battle, advancing against enemies while defending her allies against enemy Archers and Mages. When she charges her enemies, they go down without having a chance to retaliate. Elesis has 80% more defense points against Archer’s arrows, and suffers the least amount of delay among the Grand Chase members when inflicted with powerful damage from enemies.

Lire:

Pet Peeve : Monsters (especially the ugly ones)

Elves from Eryuell Island are famous for their combat skills, but are naturally pacifistic and try to avoid becoming involved in Human conflicts. However, in the recent years, the war of Humans expanded across the entire continent and a series of bizarre incidents occured. The Elves decide to end their isolation and cooperate with the Humans. Working together, the Elves and the Humans discover that Kaze’aze is responsible for the havoc that is wrecking the continent. To return peace to Eryuell Island and the continent, the Elves decide to continue investigating Kaze’aze, and form the Elven Corps to combat her evil. Lire is a member of the Elven Corps that has joined Grand Chase on behalf of the Elves.
CHARACTERISTICS
Lire specializes in powerful long-range bow and arrow attacks, and can move quickly and stealthily. Her only downside is that she is easily pursued by Knights; however, she can overcome this vulnerability by using her environment to her advantage, waiting for the perfect opportunity to strike her foes down with a critical arrow shot. Lire is designed for fighting game experts who are skilled at controlling characters with precision. If Lire is guarded by a Knight in combat, she’ll make her enemies realize how foolish it was to confront her.
Lire’s most remarkable special ability is her Double Jump

Arme:

Favorite Activity : Magical Research
Pet Peeve : Interference with her Magic Research

Arme is a cheerful Mage from Serdin, the Kingdom of Magic. She became a member of the Violet Magic Guild, the greatest guild of the Serdin Kingdom, at an early age. She has mastered both Black and White Magic, but her curiosity for magic is still insatiable. After learning about Kaze’aze’s powerful magic, Arme decided to join Grand Chase, hoping to encounter the Queen of Darkness.
CHARACTERISTICS
Arme is an ideal Mage who freely casts offensive Black Magic and defensive White Magic spells. Enemies may laugh out loud at her physical attacks, but tremble in fear when her MP is fully charged.

Arme’s powerful magic includes spells that can wipe out enemies over a wide area; spells like Lightning Bolt and Reverse Gravity. Enemies that allow her to charge her MP will realize just how powerful Arme’s magic is.

Ronan:

Ronan is the descendant of the Erudon Family, the legendary family of Spell Knights in Kanavan. He was a Royal Guard Master whose duty was to protect the Royal Family of Kanavan. His mind was being controlled by Kaze’aze who invaded the kingdom, but he regained control when Grand Chase came to rescue and shattered the Shadow Orb. Ronan realized something wasn’t right when series of mysterious events took place; first the Invasion of Dark Anmon and then the discovery of passage to the New World took place. Seeing all that had happened, he decided to join the Grand Chase force and investigate more in the New World.

ABOUT THE CHARACTER
Ronan uses both his knowledge of magic and his sword wielding skills to slay his opponents in the blink of an eye. He also uses white magic in order to support and enhance his team’s fighting abilities.

Although his magic attack isn’t the strongest, his ability to use long ranged magic skills as well as close melee attack makes him flexible and efficient in battles.

Lass:
AGE : Unknown
Likes : Unknown
Dislikes : His Past

Lass’s mind and body was freed from Kaze'aze's possession after the Grand Chase vanquished Kaze'aze's evil from the world. Although he wasn’t in control of his actions, Lass still felt guilty when he realized that his body was used as Kaze'aze's vessel to devastate the continent and kill countless innocents. The members of the Grand Chase understood that Lass was determined to right his wrongs, and allowed him to join them on their journey to restore peace to the continent.
CHARACTERISTICS
Lass dual wields daggers in combat and confounds enemies with his incredible speed. He attacks with speed, preferring to finish his enemies with one, carefully aimed blow.

Ryan:
AGE : 15
Favorite Activity: Enjoying Mother Nature (tall trees, fresh air, and clean water).
Pet Peeve : Everything that destroys Nature

Ryan is a kind and cheerful forest Elf who loves helping others. He’ll do anything he can
for nature lovers, and will play obnoxious pranks on those that threaten nature.
Ever since he witnessed Kaze'aze destroy the Partusay Sea, Ryan has been driven
by his rage against Kaze'aze.



CHARACTERISTICS


Ryan is a Druid whose combat abilities are derived from nature: he can heal his allies at critical moments and help release their latent powers. When the power he obtains from nature is too weak, he transforms himself and becomes nature. Nature isn't confined to the typical aspects of nature such as trees or the air. Ryan can transform into any living being that is part of nature and deliver attacks characteristic of that being.

Amy:
AGE : 14
Likes : Dancing
Dislikes : Traditional dance, Being lead on


Prior to joining the Grand Chase, Amy was the dancer and oracle of Silver Land on the Xenia Continent. She left the deities she once served after the great war erupted between the gods. Since the gods were being controlled by a darker power, she joined forces with the opposition, the Silver Knights. With her lively character and charm and exceptional dancing, Amy's shot to stardom virtually overnight, raising the morale of the Knights while helping them forget the fatigue of the battlefield, a source of repose for all. However, the Silver Knights were destroyed by the dark forces and those remaining were scattered, fighting a dangerous uphill battle in a bold effort to win the gods back from the darkness. When the Grand Chase freed Samsara from evil's grasps, Amy made the decision to fight evil with the Grand Chase.

CHARACTERISTICS
Amy practices two different styles of martial arts: fight and dance. One is a pure fighting form while the other aims to raise the spirits of comrades. Both fighting styles rely on fast movements and her whirling chakrani. Her dance mode is based on boosting the morale of her comrades. With her dances she calls down magical powers to increase the strength and health of her compatriots. Despite her dancing and sweet demeanor, she'll crush anyone who gets in the way of her goal.

Jin:
AGE : 17
Likes : Martial Arts, Amy
Dislikes : Beans, pimento, the Ascendant God

Long ago on the Xenia Continent, in a tiny village park where the children of Silver Land would play, a red-headed boy would lead the other children while at play, leading the other children as their general. He soon caught the eye of the Silver Knights, and was admitted as a trainee.
Strangely, Silver Land broke away from Bermesiah. As the Grand Chase Knights pursued Kaze’aze and further into the homeland of the Silver Knights, they sought the courage of the Silver Knights with Jin.



CHARACTERISTICS
Jin’s basic attacks are grounded in fundamental punching and kicking. He combines speed and destructive powers to smash through large groups of enemies. His superior combos with their long reach can sufficiently cover a large area and make quick counter attacks. Through careful meditation, Jin harnesses his Chi to imbue his fists with destructive force.

The Burning Skill bar fills up for Jin and gives his attacks added damage and allows him to use special skills. After filling the burning gauge up, initiate an attack and inflict even greater damage.
