Alright, OOC stuff first, this RP spans any universe you can think of. It exists in a dream world, your characters visit here when they sleep any character from any universe is welcome, for example, you could have a Night Elf from World of Warcraft brushing shoulders with The Doctor, or a Knight of Camelot drinking with a UNSC soldier from Halo. This tavern resembles something you might see in the Medieval ages, a large roaring fireplace at the side of the room, large tables around, a second floor adapts, making itself larger or smaller depending on how many guests are staying, it is made up of rooms that are furnished to the customer's individual tastes. The bar itself is of varnished oak, various drinks from the past, present and future available on tap. (Basically, it looks a lot like a tavern from World of Warcraft) I'll explain stuff I missed out ICly ^.^ - - Tysand sat on a stool, leaning over the bar, peering disinterestedly at the cocktail glass in his hand, the glass filled almost to the brim with a dark crimson liquid, he was dressed fairly simply, a pair of faded jeans, a black long-sleeve shirt underneath his tatty leather jacket. His jet black hair was cut short, the fringe stopping just above his left eyebrow, swooping up to the right. He looked in his early twenties though his eyes spoke of a lot more experience. A faint pipe music drifted through the tavern, though its origin unknown. The fire gave off a great heat and light, illuminating and warming the room to a pleasant degree Edited by Rougeflame, Mar 17 2013, 06:37 PM.

A woman, maybe five and a half feet tall, with boyishly short, reddish blond hair walked in, taking in the room in a glance. She had hazel eyes and a small, delicate nose - which showed signs of having been broken, and not healed properly. She also had a scar over one eyebrow. Despite having a roughly European complexion, she was dressed in a sarong printed with a lotus pattern, with a necklace of shiny black beads around her throat. She sat on a stool one place away from the black haired man, and took a brief glance at him before ordering barley water from the barkeep.

A medium-height man with pitch-black hair strode into the room, his dark green eyes flickering over the other two at the bar. He could not recall why he had come here, but could think of no reason to leave. He figured he must be here for some reason. His black trenchcoat with red trim danced around his legs as he went towards an empty seat at the corner of the bar, still looking at the others suspiciously out of the corners of his eyes. If one knew complexions, they could tell that his was Germanic. With thin, tight lips, he ordered a mulled wine, which arrived promptly. At that time he stirred his wine with a small straw - he didn't have to, but it helped him calm his thoughts. Usually he just stroked the knife he carried around with him, but he didn't want to attract attention. He generally tried to avoid that, due to his line of work. His looks were not striking; in fact they were rather ordinary, though his cheekbones jutted out a little farther than normal and his chin was somewhat pointy. Remembering his kitten at home, he smiled inside of his head. |

Tysand sat up, brushing his hair into place with a practiced move. He ran his tongue over his pearly white teeth, cleaning the crimson stains from them and out of habit he checked the phone in his top pocket, sighing at the inevitable lack of signal. Drumming his fingers on the bar top he twisted his head round to glance curiously at the two newcomers, a slight smile dancing across his pale face. |

Lizzy's adding more frilly girly stuff...Cause she's a frilly girly girl sometimes... who likes blue... a lot...Also... this reminds me of Wreck-It-Ralph... Eilria shook her head as she walked to a stool and sat upon it. Her bright red hair, flowing down her back as it gently touched the floor. Her piercing icicle blue eyes looked around the room, noticing that she was the only one colored bright blue. It figured, it was rare to find anyone looking like her- if it was even possible. Her ears were pointy and slightly small. As a half fairy, half elf creature her looks were unique. Her gossamer dressed looked as if it was just a light layer of netting over her naked body but it was not. It was as if she was a medieval princess, a few layers under her dress and then the dress itself. As she sighed softly, her wings spread out, the color of them the same as the rest of her body and sparkly like her dress. The tavern was too dark for her but she could accept it for the time being. She raised her hand then quietly ordered a Miruvor before looking down at the hem of her skirt. |

Tysand raised his eyebrows as Eilria walked in, a garish display of blue and red compared to the room and the rest of its patrons, he looked at his watch before sighing, drinking his crimson drink down swiftly before standing, he flashed Eilira and the other woman a smile that showed off the two sharp vampiric teeth before moving swiftly out, giving the German a slight nod on the way, once moving through the door he left the dream world and awoke back in his own time. (( OOC note, I'm off to larp! )) |

The redheaded woman nodded to the man in the trenchcoat, then frowned slightly at the winged woman. She had never seen such a creature before - was she another species of the Immortals? Blue, with sparkly wings. "Ever seen something like that?" she asked quietly, her lips barely moving. There was no reply - that probably meant no. Interesting. |

Tysand walks into the tavern with a smile, his pointed teeth slipping over his bottom lip as he walked to the bar with a spring in his step, he nods to the bartender who had already begun to pour him a pint of crimson drink. Tysand hops up onto a bar stool next to Eilria. "Hello there, my name is Tysand, and who might it be that I have the pleasure of drinking with today?" Tysand nods a brief nod of thanks to the bartender before flashing Eilria a warm, inviting smile. Edited by Rougeflame, Mar 17 2013, 06:41 PM.

Eilria looked over at him and smiled a little bit. "My name is Eilria," she replied softly before taking a small sip of her drink. She looked over at him again and smiled softly. "It is a pleasure to meet you Tysand," she said softly and giggled a little bit. Even the people here were in dark colors... Dark, dark colors. She was the only one who really had color to her... well bright colors. "Mind if I ask why it is so gloomy and dark around here?" |

The dark man glanced at the lady who spoke to him out of the corner of his eye, but opted not to say anything in the hopes that she would go away. Not to mention that he had no idea what the other female was, considering how odd she looked. It didn't surprise him - very little did anymore, he saw death so often, usually dealt by him. Her wings were the most unusual part of her though, as he was fairly sure that nothing on Elaka looked like that. Everyone there was human, that he knew of, just like himself. Since he believed in other worlds with life - even though none had been proven to exist yet, he was sure there had to be a better world out there than the one he lived in. His nose wrinkled at his drink that he wasn't drinking, thinking about back home. The strange female was unfamiliar, but he didn't have much curiosity. Curiosity could kill in his employment. |

"It's a tavern, Eilria," the redhead said, not moving from her stool. "Men drink too much, and then they get hangovers and can't stand bright light." She shrugged. "Or maybe there just aren't enough torches." |

He resisted the temptation to roll his eyes, talking to himself, Women get drunk too. It isn't just the men. He smirked slightly in his mind, mildly amused as he listened to their conversation but pretended not to. |

Eilria looked over at the girl then all around. "That doesn't explain why people are dressed so darkly... or why you all have such a dark aura around yourselves,"she said softly, looking at them. "Sorry if I offend you but it is an observation," she added then started to chew on her bottom lip, rubbing the back of her hand. |

"Dark aura?" she raised an eyebrow. "What gives you that idea? On the contrary, I am a blossom of joy and happiness." There was the slightest touch of irony in her voice, but nowhere near enough to discredit her words. She smiled. "And though I don't have anything against boys, these two do seem particularly gloomy, it's true. Even my Pack managed a bit of cheer, dressed in black or not." |

The man in the trenchcoat definitely rolled his eyes at this. Smiling slightly, he turned to the others and spoke the first words he had spoken all night. "What makes you think I'm gloomy?" he asked sarcastically. "I just like a bit of silence with my alcohol is all. As it seems that you all have nothing better to do than impede upon my silence, I shall say that you, ma'am," he nodded his head towards the female with wings, "are very unusual, and you, sir," he looked at the other man, "are far too flirtatious for your own good, and you, miss," he spoke to the one who had previously replied to the winged lady, "are certainly the curious sort. Back home I would have nothing to do with any of you, but you all have piqued my interest somewhat. Mrs. Eilria, what exactly are you?" he questioned her bluntly, "and why do you have wings? And why do you, man, have fangs? I would thing they are normal, but they are rather too long to be normal. Lady," his eyes drifted back to the redhead, "why are you so talkative?" His fingers stroked his glass out of habit. |

The redhead shrugged. "I'm bored," she said. "And silence doesn't suit me. Most of the time." One corner of her mouth twitched into a smile. She took a drink of her barley water, then set the glass down, crossing her arms and leaning against the bar. "Mind telling us your name?" |

She blinked a few times as she looked at the other male. He didn't know what she was? A lot of people didn't know her origin since she was a halfling. Eilria waited for the redhead to finish before she started to speak. "I am a half elf half fairy, good sir. That is why I have wings and the odd pointed ears, encase you did noticed them" she replied, looking up at him. "And if you preferred to drink in silence, you could have gone to the far corner of this tavern and you wouldn't have heard us," she added a little later. After a few seconds, she looked over the redhead. "What about your name?" |

"Aly Homewood," she said, with a smile. It wasn't her real surname, but it didn't hurt to be safe. "I was wondering when someone would ask." |

"Well if you asked someone else then I also wanted to know your name. It's fair,"she replied simply, shrugging as she let out a little sigh. Everywhere she had ever gone, she stood out because she was blue... and had wings. She needed to find another species similar to her peoples. |

"Perfectly fair," Aly agreed. "So what's an elf? And what's a fairy?" |

Eilria looked at her, her draw dropped a little bit. "Well... it's nice to know your name. A fairy is a creature that has different colored skin with wings and also they control elemental items and live in forests, flowery places, near water, yada yada yada. Elves are kind of the same way, they have magic and care about the earth. They are secluded creatures who lives centuries." |

"So they're like Immortals?" Aly said. "I've never heard of Immortals who look as human as you - unless you count the Stormwings, but it's hard to call them human." |

Tysand tilted his head, having been quiet through the exchange, he took a sip from the crimson liquid in his glass before brushing his hair into place. "My apologies if the darkness of my apparel or my.. Aura." Tysand grins slightly "And to answer your earlier question, this place is so dark because it is modeled on an old building from my world before technology, so it had to be lit by fires. Perhaps you might have learnt about it in school?" Tysand nods at the man and Aly. Tysand deftly avoids the slights to his character and the question about his fangs. "I think a good question to ask would be why are you so hostile?" |

He answered Aly, "My name is Johan. I have never seen or heard of anything like you, Eilria, except in legends. I take it we are all from different worlds then? I presume this as everyone seems quite different." To everyone, but specifically Tysand, he told, "I do not try to be hostile, but," a slight, ironic smile played n his lips, "it seems that is in my nature." His eyes held no smile, however, just caution and mild curiosity. |

"Different worlds, different planes of existence... This is a plane visitable only in our sleep. I've been able to come here since.. A while back. All I know about it is that anyone can come here and that leaving the door or dying here wakes you up in your world." Tysand nods and takes a swig of crimson liquid. "No need to apologize for hostilities, I understand that this is an odd circumstance." |

"Hmm... I'm not sure what to tell. Most countries are monarchies, though there's a wide spread of cultures between them, and Scanra mostly just has warlords fighting each other. Until sometime around when I was born, there were just humans and animals.. But then the Immortals came back - Stormwings, Kudarung, Basilisks, and dragons." |

Aly raised an eyebrow to his comment about simplicity, but said nothing. She'd left out a number of things, of course - largely politics, but also magic. She wasn't going to mention that when it wasn't to her advantage to do so. Neither was she about to tell the entire truth to this stranger. She thought back, and said, "I'm a servant to the Balitang family, of the Copper Isles, headed by Duchess Winamine Balitang. We live in the capitol city of Rajmuat, in a large mansion. There are kitchens, and bedrooms for the family, and all of the servants sleep on bedrolls in one of the rooms. We have a comfortable life, I think."
