Ok, after my mini-marathon of reading Claymore, I have come to the conclusion that it's one of the best mangas ever created (On par with Death Note, so it's quite good). As such I was interested in making an RP for it. So how many here would be interested in participating.

I have never heard of it. I have also scarcely heard of Death Note.

Do you get Shonen Jump or something? I was hoping it was like the other Manga I own.

I am subscribed to Shonen Jump, but it's not included in it. In my opinion it's beyond Shonen Jump, perhaps why it's labled as advanced shonen.

The wiki said it was in Shonen Jump. Anyway I definently want to read this one.

No, it said it was published in Monthly Shonen Jump, which may seem like the same as simply Shonen Jump, but the first is sold in Japan and the latter in America. As such, Claymore isn't in the American Shonen Jump. Though you can pick it up by itself in almost any book store which would also include more chapters since you would be buying a volume at a time. Though if you want to read most of it, you can go to onemanga.com to read what has been translated. I'm not sure how far it's been translated, it's possible that all of it has been (at least for what's been released in Japan) translated.

I read like a book and a half of Claymore, but kind of lost interest. Death Note in my opinion, is by far godly. *motions towards sig*

Personally, I think that Death Note is kind of boring, since there's not enough actual violence (although there is a guy with a scythe, so that redeems it somewhat.). However, I know that Claymore has lots of violence, so I'd be totally on board with that.

Sure. I just have to read about it.

There really was no real scythe in Death Note. It was really just fan art of Light holding a scythe that got famous. And I definitely wouldn't judge how good a story is based on the amount of violence it has.

I, however, do. We have different tastes, and my manga pallate is only tempted by violence.
