Name: Endran Jacobs

Gender: Male

Species: Human

Age: 20

Appearence: Endran is a little on the short side, with a lean build. Although boasting great endurance and stamina, he has very little muscle mass and is relatively weak. He keeps his brown hair cropped short and brushed flat. His eyes seem to change hues at seemingly random intervals, a clue as to his heritage. For clothing, he sticks the culturally neutral garb favored by those that travel between worlds. It gives him the unique impression of sticking out and blending in at the same time.

Background: Endran belongs to a specific subset of homo sapiens renowned for the feats they can accomplish using only mental power. Know colloquially as "minds," the subspecies is distinguishable from normal humans only by their strange eyes, which change color regularly. If their inherent talents are developed, minds can accomplish a wide variety of tasks with just a thought. Telekinesis, Metacreativity, clairsentience, autohypnosis, and even telepathy have at one point or another been said to be within the minds' abilities. Naturally, there is a great deal of superstition surrounding minds, particularly on less enlightened or zealously religious worlds, and most minds take care to keep their heritage a secret.
Endran was born and raised on a starship, and hasn't felt satisfied staying in one place since. He knows a warp drive better than the back of his hand, and puts the knowledge to good use. His parents, both fullblooded minds themselves, instilled in him a great pride for his heritage and taught him how to best develop his talents as they traveled amongst the stars. When his parents died early due to an unfortunate illness, he inherited the ship and continued to travel, going wherever his whims and his warp drive would take him. Endran has done and seen a little bit of everything. Smuggling, bounty hunting, merchant work, soldiering, exploring, you name it, Endran has had a part in it. He takes no precautions to conceal his heritage, and it has gotten him into trouble on more than one occasion. Finally, his exploits led him to the edge of human space, where he heard about The Game. Not willing to let an opportunity as big as this slip through his fingers, Endrand set a course for the world on which the Artifact lies.

Personality: Endran is the ultimate adventurer, always looking for the next big thing. He values his freedom over everything else, and adamantly refuses to let anything tie him down for long. He is an opportunist, and his complete freedom means he is always in a position to take advantage of whatever fate throws his way. He lives in a state of constant activity, and if he isn't doing something or going somewhere he soon becomes restless, sullen, and irritable. However, as soon as things start moving again he is quick to revert back to his old self. His lack of loyalty to anything other than himself means that he can be rather irresponsible and self centered, and his fleeting nature makes it difficult for anyone to become close to him.
