Once upon a Time....

The young Neo-Fable known as Mad Alice stood on a cliff over looking the Mermaid Lagoon. In America there were many places similar to London Wonderland but America was a Composite Fable land where several Fables communed as one massive story.

Something was concerning her though, She knew something bad would happen but she couldn't place it. She just shrugged it off as a symptom of her Madness and stared at the setting Sun which glowed with the image of one of the Various sun spirits from all the Fables of the world.

"Hmm, better tell the Grimms I'm here...." She thought to herself. She pressed the blue-tooth comm-link on her ear and spoke into the device as she fiddled with her blood stained vorpal blade.

"Mad Alice here, I'm at the Mermaid Lagoon and I need a ride back to head quarters.....I know I should've said something before I left but I rather like to think of myself as being self-sufficient.....I can defend myself just fine.....fine then, you can scold me when I get back to the base." Mad Alice said as she turned off her comm-link.

Alice leaped down from the cliff onto a small floating piece of grass covered island in the middle of the air. She saw the cat standing next to her with that wicked Grin, "You're not very subtle." she said to the cat.

"And your not all that sane." the cat retorted, "Oh, was that a low blow?"

"Just for the record Cat, I'm ignoring you until I feel that you deserve forgiveness."

"My dear, you never forgive me. Besides, you'll need me eventually." The cat said with a grin as it faded from existence once more.

Alice sat there on the floating Island and waited.

Wilhem responded on the other end of the Comm-link.
"Don't worry Fräulein mein brother is studying our enemy so it's just me and the others. I'll be there with the Smokeless caterpillar." He managed to say before she turned off the link. Standing up from the steel swivel chair and stretching his lean body toward the high metal ceiling with it's round white lights. After cracking his shoulder blades the young German heads for the garage. Surprising how a couple of German Brothers could afford to make a hi-tech Fable seeking base and get and maintain a fleet of high-powered vehicles. But once you write a world famous book that inspires endless spin offs and remakes then prove your the rightful owners you'll be racking in the dough as well.

Grabbing a stealthy black rifle off the rack and a few rounds he secures the items then actually enters the Garage. About half the size of football field filled with an assortment of vehicles form personal sports cars, old armored military vehicles modified to fight Fables. And a handful of hand-made vehicles all mighty fusions of magic and steel. Each completely unique to the others the one he was heading toward looked like a long tank on large round wheels. It had odd purple spots as camouflage, but there was more to this contraption then meets the eyes. Wilhelm climbed up the little ladder, popped open the hatch and jumped into the cockpit. Closing the hatch he powers the vehicle up it roars then purrs like a 5 ton mechanical kitten. He pushes some button and changes the outside camo to something matching the Garages steel and chrome floor and walls. Flooring the pedal he thunders through the door leaving a trail of dust in his wake. Punching a few more button the Caterpillar spreads it's wings and takes off for the Lagoon. With the Caterpillar’s speed he arrives at the Lagoon in minutes. Landing on the cliff he opens the hatch and whistles out to Alice.
"Come on Fräulein we'd best go before Der Witch finds us." He leans out his handsome young face glows in the dusk.

She’d burned her diary after the parting. After everyone separated and left her behind. She’d burned it for the mere pleasure at the thought of destroying all those girlish fantasies that she had held. At those stupid things called ‘emotional attachments.’

She needed them as little as they needed her. They had simply helped her to learn a few things. Now, they were nothing.

She liked to think.

Pushing a strand of hair from her face, Tink’s big baby blues scanned her surroundings.

A bored sigh escaped her lips as she slumped once more, double checking to make sure the comm link was off. If either of the Grimm’s heard a sound like that, they’d probably give her something more horrible to do.

Though, /anything/ was more eventful than sentry duty at this point. She was simply watching for people, letting the Grimm’s know who and what were approaching, whether it be friend or foe. In this day and age, one couldn’t be too careful, she supposed.

But still. When they had talked of Ever After, she had had something a /little/ better in mind. Maybe in those years past, she would feel a swell of pride for doing something good. For being part of something bigger.

Those were gone, however. As gone as memories could be.

And now she simply wished she had continued traveling about on her own. No one to worry about but number one.

But then, those were gone also, weren’t they.

With a mumbled comment about trickery, she stood and stretched her back, gossamer wings fluttered oh-so-gently at the exquisite feeling of the misused muscles being put to work.

The idea of a flight was so tempting…but they’d kill her, most likely. Just her luck, someone would randomly decide to approach and she’d be off somewhere having a grand ol’ time.

This had happened before.

With yet another sigh, though now of annoyance, she crossed her arms and returned to work.

“Not that /this/ could be called ‘work,’” she grumbled quietly, glaring at the land around her.

"Thank you Wilhelm." Alice said as she stepped up to the caterpillar on illusions in the shape of small stairs that she manifested with her mind.

Once on board the caterpillar it immediately took flight. Alice sat on one of the seats in the flying machine and she sighed, "So I suppose you'll be wanting to know why I left the base unauthorized and came all the way out here?"

She reached into the pocket on her apron and pulled out a sphere shaped crystal about the size of an orange that pulsated with a soft blue light. "I came out all this way to find this. I /found/ it from the Goblin Market that had came out this way. I don't know exactly what it is but it seemed to call out to me. I was hoping we could analyze it back at the base."

She looked around and raised her eyebrows, "Is Tink still not back from sentry duty? I thought she was supposed to be back a while ago."

Alice then put the orb back into her pocket and sighed, "Wilhelm, do you think we will ever win this war?"

He smiles pushing the buttons making the vehicle invisible. After he puts it on auto-pilot he settles back and answers her question.
"Nein like I said I'm not Jakob as long as you don't die or get caught I don't care where you go. He looks at the crystal. Ja it seems to be pulsing with something I'll put it through the Mother Gooserator (his nickname for the Super Computer they use to run their group.) And Ja on both counts Fräulein. She was supposed to get off before you called and get some rest before she went on a Recon we've got planned. Der Witch is making some enhancements on her castle and we'd just like to know if it'd be a problem for us." He looks back at her giving a convincing smile. Of course we'll win the good guys always win. No matter what the odds."

Jakob returns from his research expedition followed by the three super-mutant pigs with the powers of the elements. And the Woodsmen with his unbreakable axes and laser rifle. Dismissing them with a nod and thanks he goes to the control room.
"Wilhelm I've got some things to enter into der computer. So quite playing games and let me on." He says not looking up waiting for the usual barrage of excuses and defenses but the only sound is the hum of the computers. Looking up he sighs seeing the empty room.
"Why must I have such a stupid brutter." He sighs taking over the controls. Taking over Wilhelm's duties he tries to call Tink and tell her she can leave her post and get some sleep but she turned it off so he just contacted her relief.
"Red I need you to go relieve Tink of Sentry Duty. Be sure to tell her to get some sleep for her Recon mission tonight at the Witches castle she should have the briefing on the laptop we gave her." A sensual woman's voice responds to his order.
"You got it big boy." Jakob sighs leaning back rubbing his forehead then starts entering his new findings.

Red sat up from her bed and threw on a pair of jeans and a black tank top with a little sparkle devil on the front over her bra and panties. Lacing up her boots she exits her room tying a rusty red jacket around her waist. She was a beautiful specimen. Long silky red hair, a firm yet lithe body, long shapely legs and the most piercing set of green eyes you've ever seen. Looking at you couldn't think a better power then Mind control for such a woman, but she rarely had to use it unless dealing with women because any human man she ran across would jump off a cliff if she asked. Sliding her I.D. Card through the slot she exits the base and heads for the Sentry Tower. She arrives with time to spare knocking on the little door she says.
"Hey Tink I've come to relieve you. Jakob said for you to get some sleep for your Recon mission tonight at the Witches castle. He said all your info is in a memo on your laptop." She finishes and stands waiting for Tink to open the door since it's locked from the inside like usual when someone's on Sentry Duty.

She gave a sudden start at the sound of a voice and the soft knocking. Well, she would have been aware of it sooner if not for the fact that her eyes had slipped shut and she'd fallen into a slight doze.

Glancing at the sun, she cursed quietly yet vehemently and stood up in a scramble. Brushing the grass off her clothes now, she moved to the door adn unlocked it, opening it to see Red.

Tink gave the woman a small grin of gratitude before following it up with, "Thanks. I'll go check it out."

With that, she moved past the woman and started down the hall, a small bubble of excitement building in her. Recon. She loved Recon. And at the Castle of all places.

How could she have complained about being bored?

Well...she had been. Either way. This was /definitely/ a step up.

With and easy smile, she quickened her pace slightly and was soon in her room. Tink grabbed her laptop and brought it over with her to her bed and laid down, flipping open the top.

Brushing a few stray strands of blonde hair out of her eyes, she turned the thing on, wondering what, exactly, was the mission objective.

Red smiles stepping into the Tower and taking a seat and pulling out a leather bound book and opens to the marked page and starts reading. The memo read as follows.

Tink,
I've selected you for a dangerous mission, I know it sounds overdramatic but it's true. I need you to go undetected to the Witch's castle and gather whatever you can on the new renovations she's making from what I've seen she's added a satellite dish and some GPS equipment. Now it could be nothing but still it'd be best to know ahead of time. Don't attack any of her cronies unless you're about to be spotted or you are spotted and they catch you then do anything to escape and high-tail it right back to base. Be safe and keep your head down.
J.G.

The purpled-haired German sighs picking his head up from the keyboard. He hasn’t slept well in days. Whenever he tries he gets nightmares about the Lady and her Lords. Some of the others think he needs a vacation but in this world there isn't a place to do that he'd just be laying around base thinking on it more. He's condemned himself to thinking he won't get sleep until this war's over. Rubbing his eyes he enters a few pages about Van Helsing another Fairy Tale Hunter he's been looking around for.

Alice walked up to the Mother Gooserator and placed the Crystal in a glass chamber connected to to the computer. The Machine created a digital graph over the crystal and began to analyze it.

/Processing...Processing....File has been retrieved. Object has been Identified as the Crystal of the Jareth the Goblin King. Former Lord of the Labyrinth and Lost Fable. Other information is unknown at this time..../

"Well that does us a lot of good." Alice said to herself as she took the crystal back.

The cats voice manifested in her thoughts, "Go with Tink on the Mission."

Alice Thought to herself, "Why are you doing this cat."

"Just trust me Alice, it will be worth it."

"Fine cat." Alice thought.

"I'm going to assist Tink, I need something to do." Alice told the Grimms.

Jakob looked on reading through the info the computer didn't say.
"Born in the late 1200's he ruled the Goblins until he was almost killed by one of his Knights but managed to bound himself to that crystal. Very interesting Fräulein but we can't risk anymore hands on this mission I choose Tink because she's small enough and fast enough to zip past all the Guards and cameras. I know your power would allow you to slip through some of her traps but not all. Our last Recon showed that she's got infrared lasers that hardly give an inch of clearance between them." He sighs rubbing his eyes again. Wilhelm who had been sitting in he back cleaning his rifle chimed in.

"If you really want something to do Alice, the Black Knight's running some checks on the new weapons he developed. And he needs someone to fire and swing them." The man smiles clicking his the bolt back a few times. He looked from her to his brother who had fallen asleep over the computer keys and was putting random letter into a file about Old King Cole. Shaking his head he goes over and picks his brother up shouldering his weight.
"Oh mein hard-working brutter missed another week of sleep. I'll be right back Alice don't do anything I wouldn't." He smiles shuffling from the Control room to his brother's room laying him on the neatly made blue sheets pulling his boots off and moving him to the center. He watches him for a few moments then looks around the room he'd never been in here before. Grown men or not brothers are still brothers and they like their privacy from each other. It was pretty much as he expected. Neat, tidy, and brimming with notes and books on Fairyland and it's inhabitants. Half-afraid to touch anything he steps carefully around looking at all the maps and stats pinned to the wall. Jakob must really never stop working. Hopefully he won't kill himself with exhaustion. With a sigh he exits the room going back to the control room also doing a security check walking slowly along making sure the cameras and automatic torrents are working properly.

Reading the first line, Tink's eyes lit up.

"Dangerous is my middle name, sweetie," she mumbled to the screen before allowing her gaze to travel down the sheet, soaking up the words and savoring each one as if it were a delicacy.

Danger was perfect. When it came to missions, she was single-minded in her purpose. Achieve the goal or die trying. So far, the latter had not been an issue, but this was a /very/ risky mission.

Her tongue slid to the side of her teeth and she began making a soft clicking sound with her mouth, which was a sign that she was thinking.

She would need the blueprints of the castle. She'd been there but once before on a mission and that had only been to a few rooms. This was to be a widespread recon.

Equipment, also. The comm link was standard, of course, but she would have it turned on. She would pack a few of her darts. Silent, but deadly. Fairy Dust poison was the most fatal of all in this new age of Fables.

A small prick of it would send you into convulsions, which quickly faded to a sort of comatose. After that, it was whether you were healthy enough to fight the poison or not. Getting a dart full of it, however, was guaranteed.

She closed the laptop now, her face thoughtful again as she forced herself to quit clicking her tongue. It was an annoying habit, if only to herself. Not many others were aware of it.

Finally, she heaved a sigh. There was no way she was going to be able to sleep. Besides, she'd gotten a decent nap during Sentry duty.

With a soft, amused smile, she stood lithely and left her room once more, heading for the archives. She'd find the blueprint of the castle and study it. No need to be idle while waiting.

Pushing open the door, she was confronted quickly by the large shelves of books and...scrolls. Yes, call the archive outdated, but she liked it. Better than computers, at least.

It was...peaceful. Calming. It had a sense of timelessness to it that weighed reassuringly on her shoulders.

Heading down one of the aisles, she let her fingers trail across the binds of the volumes of books until they ended, opening to a small area that had a table and a few chairs. A lamp shone dimly from the table's surface, revealing that the clearing was surrounded on all sides by aisles that led to more aisles.

After a moment of trying to remember where the scrolls were, she sauntered down one of the alleys. A few minutes later and she was returning, five scrolls in her arms. May as well have quite a few sources on your target, no?

Setting them down carefully, she took a seat on one of the chairs and pulled the most yellowed scroll toward her and rolled it open gently.

Oldest first, newest last.

Then her eyes scanned the page and she resettled herself in the chair to get more comfortable. This was going to easily fill the space between now and the deployment for the mission.

"Fine then, let's see what new toys the Black Knight has for me to play with." Alice said in an indifferent tone. She walked off down the corridor and past a automated door. The Cat manifested, appearing like some emaciated gray panther with a wicked grin and several bizzare markings. It walked next to Alice, unseen by any one else.

"You're not really going to listen to Jakob are you?" The cat said in a half joking voice.

"Of course I am, however I don't have to listen at the same time." She said slyly.

"I'm afraid I don't follow my dear." the cat said in a confused tone.

"Of course you do cat, pay attention." She said as she paused for a moment. Her shadow flickered and rose up, from the shadow manifested an exact duplicate of Alice that was perfect down to the very last pore and memory.

"I'll go and test out the black knights weaponry...While I'll go out for a little recon duty of my own." The two Alices replied.

"Hmm...I find this rather amusing, I'll see from your minds eye how this will all play out." With that the cat vanished until only a smile remained and even that faded away.

The two Alice's then looked at one another and smiled. One Alice went toward the Vessel Bay while the other headed toward the training room.

The Alice that went toward the vessel bay was then greeted by a beautiful woman made of glass and silver wearing a pair of glass slippers and a glimmering corset and gown made of moonlight and gossamer.

"Hello Alice, out on another mission?" The Glass woman said softly.

"Of Course Ella, I need to use the Oberon. Would you be so kind as to help me out."

"Not a problem deary." Ella said as she began to maneuver the control panel and unload a small vessel with a sleek yet somehow mystifying design that gleamed like a twilight sky.

"Well, I'm off." Alice said as she hopped into the vessel.

"Be careful." Ella said as Alice prepared to take off.

Not a problem, Alice thought to herself as she began to fly off in the twilight sky that blended into her craft.

Meanwhile the other Alice went down to the Training room to meet the Knight.

She arrived and was greeted by the Black Knight himself.

"Hello, there Knight. what have you got for me today?"

The cyborg known as the black knight turns his large armored head to her wiping some grease onto a smudged lab coat. He's holding a small laser gun that attaches to the wrist and fires via voice commend. He speaks in a deep hollow voice that still seems human.
"Ah jolly good lass I was hoping the Grimm brothers would send me someone who'd listen well enough not to shoot themselves. Try this love it's a wrist laser, say fire and a beam will burst out and incinerate anything you aim at, well it should anyway." Taps his metal visor reflectively.

Wilhelm completes his check and returns to monitoring the control around the base. He first notes that all the old Sentries have been relieved and the new ones are awake and paying attention. Finding all good he spins the swivel chair thinking of how he can kill time while Jakob sleeps. Looking at the neatly laid out notes his brother had been working on Wilhelm picks up the top page. It was about the Boogeyman first thing the young man noticed was that he'd joined up with the Lady not to long ago. That might explain Jakob's lack of sleep. Der Boogeyman loves tormenting sleepers. I'll ask him about it later. Cracking his knuckles he goes about updating the file for his brother.

The Alice with the Black Knight grabbed the wrist laser and wore the gauntlet with a certain grace. "Alright Sir Knight, commence training sequence: Royal Flush."

"Royal Flush, eh? Alright Lassie, a battle with Card soldiers it is." The Knight said as he hit a button on his wrist and a small portion of the floor beneath him became a small metal disc that allowed him to be levitated into a safe spot on the walls above them, at least a good 50ft. up away from the floor.

He hit another button on his wrist and watched as from the floor appeared several 10 foot tall metal playing cards which unfolded into simple yet ingeniously designed battle droids. Alice braced herself as the Card Soldiers targeted her, They began to charged their finely tuned laser and fired right as Alice leaped into the air with Vorpal blade in hand.

She came down swiftly with her blade slicing through the card soldier she landed behind like a hot knife through butter. Alice then heard another card Soldier moving toward her quickly on legs of Copper, titanium, and steel. It's arm like appendages now blades. It was about to strike Alice as she blew its head off with the Laser Gauntlet.

This Process was repeated over and over until all the card soldiers were decimated. "Training sequence: over. Victor, Mad Alice." said a metallic yet feminine voice from the speakers above. The Black Knight floated down on the disc while applauding, "Well done Lassie, how did you like the Gauntlet?" He said in a booming yet cheerful voice.

"It was alright, the fire time was off by 2 and 1/2 seconds and it could be reconfigured into a sleeker design given we are able to swipe some Knocker Tech in our next visit to the Goblin Market." Alice said as she removed the gauntlet from her wrist and gingerly handed it back to the Knight.

"Anything else you got for me to test out?

______

The other Alice flew swiftly toward Tink's location. "Tink, I'm coming to bring you to the Emerald Palace. Bring your ready face and prepare for a full intrusion." Alice said on the commlink.

Alice then found Tink and lowered the Oberon craft next to her. "Hello lovely, are you ready?" Alice asked softly with the cockpit open for Tink to hop into the other seat.

The Black Knight laughs taking the laser off her.
"That's why I'm still in the testing phase lass. This next one should be right up your alley. He walks over to a panel on the wall and presses some more buttons. There's a loud swoosh then the wall moves to reveal a couple of dark blue sticks. Pulling them off he spins them in his hands skillfully. They may look like normal staves but... he pushes a button and the sticks transform into two curved long swords, another push and they're battle axes, another and he makes a pair of scythes. I call them the Gemini Rods. With a push of a button they transform into nearly any melee weapon known to man. I personally like the twin lances but I want to see what they can do for someone who's faster and smaller. I have a modification that'd allow them to work off the wielder’s thoughts but it's too messy now to test on living beings. Give them a whirl and tell me how they feel." He climbs back onto the floating panel returning to his vantage point. How about the Skull King's roulette, I trained with these in it but it's your choice m'fine lass."

Tink had pulled on her recon suit, a black, skin-tight thing that allowed for free movement. It simply felt like skin. There would be nothing to slow her down in flight.

She had left the base and was about to lift off herself when Mad Alice touched down in the Oberon craft. Looking over at the girl, she blinked after a moment before shrugging and jumping in.

"Sounds good to me. I was just about to leave. When did Jakob and Willhelm assign you? I thought I was planned to leave by myself?" she asked, her eyebrows drawing down as she glanced over at the other girl.

After a moment, she shook her head, waving off the question, "Nevermind. I guess you never /can/ tell what those guys are thinking, eh? What mode of entry were you thinking or were you gonna end up letting me do all the planning?"

She grinned over at the girl before turning her attention to the darts that were slipped into a belt around her waist. There were fifteen tiny darts in all, readily accessible.

"I'd be Delighted Sir Knight." Alice said with a charming smile as she lightly grabbed the Blades and put her own Vorpal Blade in a leather strap on her flour white apron.
"Ready when you are Sir Knight."

________

Alice merely smiled in her charming way and retorted with a small chuckle. "You never now what those two are thinking. Hmm... I do have an idea on how this might work out but lets here what you've got first."

Alice said as the Oberon took flight toward the emerald palace. As she flew the craft, Alice's clothing began to shift into a second skin made of smoke and shadows.

The Knight booms with laughter in his black steel helmet.
"I love sadists!" He presses a button on his middle knuckle and the computer says.
"Skull King's roulette difficulty level Black initiated. The room changes into a giant roulette table filled with various nasty traps and tripwires. The Knight nods crossing his arms. Have fun lassie." He presses another button and it activates. A large door opens on the far side of the room and out flows an army of Skull Knights bright lights start flashing overhead lighting up panels with pictures on them. After a few seconds the light stops on an exploding bomb which makes they knights explosive when about to die. The Black Knight keeps his finger on the emergency stop switch just in case.
"Be careful Alice."

Wilhelm finishes updating the log saving all the data he places the papers in the safe box shutting and relocking it. Kicking back from the console he leans back crossing his hands behind his head and looking at the stainless steel ceiling. No wonder brutter is always tired this logging nonsense has me drained. I'm ready for bed but I need to check on the Guards. He pushes a button alerting the first Sentry.
"Halo, Char how's duty going?" The handsome young man pushes the button after adjusting the gold hat sitting low on his head.
"Charley Charming here nothing big to report Wilhelm." With a nod the German pushes another button.
"Red my fiery beauty I take it the outer Guards haven't been staring at you all night?" The sexy voice responds with a chuckle.
"Not tonight boss just me, my book, and the stars."
"Good to here Red." Pushing a third button he says to the speaker.
"Mien good Mice nothing jump out of der lake?" The three giant white mice dressed in Biker Gear stop playing cards and the one with a large scar over his lifeless blind right eye says in a rough New York accent.
"Yo big man nuttin happening just some ducks swimmin' around."
"Good be sure to leave Alice's cheese alone in the fridge next time. She's set up a giant mouse trap for you." He chuckles into the mike the white mouse laughs sarcastically.
"Ha-ha aren't you a funny one Wilhelm." The blind mouse slams the receiver down his extra powerful ears twitch at the sound of the ducks' distant quaking through the glass. Hitting the last button he sounds in the far Watch tower covering the east and south in it was a vicious looking teenager dressed in a black fur vest and pants with fire embroidered on them. He taps his black boots watching the spikes glint in the moonlight. Next to him was a giant black wolf snoring lightly gnawing on cow bone.
"Lucian, Wilhelm how are you and Gremith doing?" The boy lays his heel on the receiver button ad says calming the growling beast.
"Fine Wilhelm no reason to cry wolf to beat you to your joke." Wilhelm smiles answering.
"I wasn't even thinking it but thanks Lucian." The boy scoffs lifting his heel and returning to watching the sky. Satisfied with the reports he moves to the Cafeteria so grab a snack.

"I was thinking we could infiltrate the north tower first, seeing as that is recorded to be an old section of the castle with the least amount of new technology. The nearest regularly used room is at least three stories beneath the tower, so I am thinking it should be relatively easy to get it.

I'm worried, though, that there might be traps set. It seems all too easy. So, my second idea was to slip through a window in the storage room located on the main floor of the building."

Tink looked to Alice, eyebrows raised, "Any of those appeal to you? I wanna hear what your thoughts are before we do anything, though."

The Oberon

Alice's body was now covered by living shadows that exuded a faint haze. She carefully listened to Tink's plan and then sighed.

"Okay I've heard somethings about the Witch when I was still in the service of that bitch of a playing card, mind you some might just be rumors, but the Queen of Hearts kept yelling in her plans to steal the Witch's fortress that there was a certain time of the day when all her barriers whether they be mystical or technological would momentarily weaken for something of either heightened stealth technology or lesser fables might be able to penetrate the Palace walls unnoticed. Lucky for us that a twilight is the time when this event supposedly happens. After we get in we should go with your idea and infiltrate the north tower. I've also heard rumors though about how she's been cybernetically enhancing her flying monkeys, we need to keep our eyes peeled at all times."

The Training Area

The Other Alice braced herself, this definitely was not going to be an easy training session. She whipped out the pair of Gemini Blades and extended them with in an instant. The floor was spinning violently, bright multicolored light were flashing, and the Skull Knights kept coming. The whole situation was extremely disorienting and hard to keep up with. Alice then quickly came up with a random idea and jump on the center beacon of the roulette table and in a single swift action stabbed one blade into the beacon so she could have a grip while the other blade was held in her left hand as she made it extend to it's full length, decapitating any of the skull knights that were foolish enough to come close to her. Suddenly one of the explosion of the knights created enough flames to catch the wildly spinning Alice on fire. She shrieked loudly as the flames engulfed her and caused her flesh to become almost shadow-like. She was no longer in control of the out come of the training session.

The Black Knight watched Alice change keeping his gauntleted finger fast upon the off switch. He knew this happened when Alice gets hurt but it isn't always a bad thing but this time made him worry a little he shouted to her turning up the voice modulator on his helmet.
"ALICE ARE YOU ALRIGHT? DO YOU WANT ME TO TURN IT OFF!"

Wilhelm piled his plate with the whole food pyramid. Bread, meat, chocolate cake, cookies, and root beer. Sitting down in the sparse room he gives a little grace in German then dives into his plate noticing not-so little Bo Peep come in dressed in a medium-length brown dress that fits like a glove to her more then prominent curves, white knee high socks and black sneaker. Behind her was one of the Ram-men she controlled. Big, burly and insanely overly-protective. They were usually dressed in camo-pants, black boots, and white tank-tops. Between her and Red Wilhelm often found it hard to concentrate on anything. He even forgot he was eating with the fork hovering half-way to his mouth. Bo smiled giving him a little wave. he smiles waving back then sees the Ram growl glaring at the man who simply acts like he was checking his rifle for a jam cocking it a few times. The Ram growls turning back to Bo occasionally looking over his shoulder at the armed German.

Tink raised her eyebrows and nodded at the newfound information. She liked Alice. The girl had some valuable intel that was priceless on a mission such as this.

With a little grin at the woman, Tink stated, "Okay. So, North Tower at twilight."

It was a little disturbing to hear about the enhancements of the monkeys, however. They were already quite effective as they had been, but with upgrades? Who knew what they could do now.

She sighed a bit, "Any idea of what exactly the upgrades consisted of?"

The Oberon

"The Witch probably hasn't done too much to them. They were one of her most efficient minions along with the Emerald Eye Assassins, so I guess that at the most she made them a bit more streamlined and built a weapon of some kind into them. That's just a guess though so like I said we really should be prepared for anything."

Alice said as shadows engulfed the last strand of her hair and face giving her the appearance of a 3D silhouette. She opened her eyes which now gleamed with the fires of the Jabberwock, she almost swore she could feel the flames burning her right now but simply dismissed the notion.

The Training Area

Alice could barely hear the Voice of the Knight from over the Flames. She ignored the words and the Pain as she imagined herself into the shape of the dreaded Jabberwocky. She had taken the form of a twisted monstrosity of a Nightmarish Dragon-like beast and twisted steampunk machine. The skull soldiers kept pouring out and without even thinking she sliced them to shreds with her mechanical claws. They exploded but she felt nothing as she engulfed the entire arena with her own blue flames. She momentarily exulted in her devastation which was completely unnatural, for a minute she was practically like Lady Schneewittchen. She then regained consciousness and returned back to her own form. The enemy had been vanquished and her flames had died down. She crumpled over and vomited a puddle of thick black liquid.

"Sir Knight..." she said before she spewed forth more black ooze, "I think our training session is done for today." The Ooze would dissipate into a shadowy mist as she lifted herself up. "I lost control again didn't I?"

He jumps from his platform and looks her over for wounds.
"Aye lassie but that's why this training room's here so you can learn control. Hell that boy Lucian and his wolf were in here and they almost broke the simulator they were so fierce. Luckily Jakob put him on Guard Duty so he wouldn't try it again. He picks up the charred Gemini Rods trying the button but only gets a sizzling buzz. Hmm these will be fun to fix but I got a little info on improving it. Now go rest in the Green room and then we'll see how you feel afterward eh?" He goes to his work table and begins work on the weapons.

Wilhelm finishes his snack and checks the list of Jakob's duties that he always make for the brown haired man in case he can't do them himself. Ok 7:15 check on any active missions. That's just Tink very well. He goes to the control room and presses the Comm-link button with Tink’s name by it.
"Halo Tink have you made any headway in your Recon?"

Tink scowled a bit. Weapons. Just what those robotic primates needed.

Her mouth opened to say something along those lines when her comm link buzzed suddenly with Wilhelm's voice.

Glancing over at Alice, she mouthed who it was before turning forward and responding, "We're still on our way there, Grimm. Alice and I have been plotting out entry strategies. Y'know, comparing and contrasting? We think we've got a good mode of infiltration, though."
